  1. It's not an extension but an annual requirement. Not a 90 report but similar. OP Maneerat is highly recommend by many. Several good agents in Pattaya/Jomtien.
  2. So you applied for a non O retirement at CM and had bank records of previous 12 month of monthly transfers of 65k and it was rejected.
  3. You can only obtain a non O-A in your passport country or country where you are a legal resident You can apply for a non O based on retirement in Thailand however that requires 65k monthly deposits for 12 months. You could alternatively use money in bank method. Does your embassy provide "income letter"
  4. Depending on your own preferences, the ME non O marriage visa valid for one year from places such as Savannakhet is another long term option for some.
  5. Excellent. However that will skip along. Since you have the funds in bank that's good. Can't recall if you after non O marriage or retirement. Obviously few extra docs for marriage. Normally for retirement you need to show funds came from abroad however in your case that should be not required. So you have time but certainly get onto the non O.
  6. As stated earlier. You don't have a visa. You entered visa exempt. You need to now obtain a non O based on retirement or marriage. To do that you require 15 days remaining on your current permit. Sounds like that's very soon. That non O will give you a 90 day permission of stay. After funds have been in the bank for 2 months you can apply for 12 month extension.
  7. That's a pain. Good that you point out the option to use Vietnam based agent to provide the "letter of approval" for visa on arrival. Prior to covid being Oz I required visa for Vietnam and used one of those agents for 3 month multiple. Often. Sadly for some reason Vietnam has taken the 3 month option off the table.
  8. You are quoting from "common misunderstanding Thailand visas and extensions 101" You don't even have a valid visa. You have an extension of a permission of stay based on retirement.
  9. By ......"You can obtain a non O retirement ". Refers to a non O 90 day visa based on retirement. Just omitting couple of unnecessary words. You then post picture of extension stamp. I will stop there as you are not familiar with the fundamentals of visa types and extensions.
  10. As @treetops indicated the question has come up. Some folks have asked questions such as "I'm from UK and currently in Vietnam can I apply for a METV eVisa to Thailand " Very sneaky imo.. I wouldn't do that however back to the OP, can imagine would be possible from Turkey to Thailand flight.
  11. I don't understand your post. If you recently entered visa exempt your first step would be to apply for a non O visa which is would give you a 90 day stamp. In the last 30 days of the permit you would apply for 12 month extension. To apply for the non O you would require 15 days + remaining on your visa exempt entry. Sounds like that is due to expire early Feb. Tick Tock. BTW the non O is 2k and the 12 month extension 1900baht..
  12. Seems from post above that wife with you not compulsory for 60 day extension to visit wife. I was always under the impression it's a requirement. Happy to stand corrected.
  13. There are approx 75 imm offices. From this thread ubonjoe suggests wife with you in various posts. https://aseannow.com/topic/1130123-re-60-day-extension-to-visit-your-wife/
  14. What is the due date. Presumably you have your last receipt. I understand your plan. I would suggest you make an appointment for your extension. Have your most recent TM47 receipt with you in case the document check girls ask for it. Obtain your extension. Then go back to the main Que desk and obtain ticket for 90 report. If the io doing extension notices that you are in the window for your next report they may even do it on the spot. That actually happened to me once at CW when doing my extension and the io started to file a 90 report as a favor and asked him not to.
  15. You can leave it blank or make up any date on the TM8. It's expiry will be same as your visa as mentioned in first post
  16. I had never previously shown a 90 day report receipt at CW for extension retirement. My most recent extension (Nov last year) I had to deal with document check even though I had appointment. Anyway the first thing that I was asked for was my receipt of TM 47. My comments that "no not required" ignored. BTW the io for extension put it with all the docs provided. Fortunately I had it in my "spare kitchen sink" folder and was able to provide it. What do you mean by latest report. "Do I need to have the latest 90 day report complete before getting my extension stamp?" Just take your most recent receipt TM47. BTW online appointment for extension works a treat.
  17. Indeed. That's why you may receive some "attitude" however there are many reasons why someone may wish to return to based on marriage apart from financial. Clearly the money in bank is not an issue for you. I can understand why the ME non O marriage that some get from Savannakhet is popular, especially for those that enjoy travel.
  18. Missed that. Yes he obtains extension where he is living.
  19. Also Your wife must be with you when you apply for the extension.
  20. Yes to both questions Extension to visa exempt is done at IT Mall Laksi. Appointment is possible. Note leaving extension till last day possible is not a smart idea. Added edit: my post referring to Bangkok immigration not necessary
  21. You do not need to obtain a new non O. You can change the basis on what the extension is based on. Back and forth in your example. With regards money in the bank you would only require the 400k (for marriage);in bank for 2 months prior application. Personally I would suggest that you follow the rules for retirement right up to day of application. Meaning 800k 2 months prior. The reason is that it covers both options and you are covered if there is any issue. (won't be) After extension based on marriage is obtained and under consideration period you can use the funds as you wish.
  22. BKK along with DMK had bit of a "crackdown" just prior to covid and yes reports of a few refused entries. Some were many entries and short turn around. Even now we see posts of some folk planning on fly out and back even same day. IMO that's asking for trouble. One guy even did that with his elderly mother. Think it was to Singapore. Crazy. She was admitted after bit of ordeal. In your situation you will have been out of Thailand for ~4 months. Would not be an issue. You may as well have the 20k with you and be ready for the questions that appear on (suspended) arrival card. Where you stay. How long. etc.
  23. Yes. One 60 day extension to visit wife per entry
