  1. Rather than start a new thread. Has anyone used timber slab planks for kitchen bench top. Here is pic from Blue Sea Wood.
  2. Your first 90 day report must be done in person or via mail. Online not possible.
  3. So you have done a report in person previously? This is what you stated at the start "As a newbie do I have to report to immigration at Jomtien?" I read that as you have not done a 90 day report previously?
  4. I like your positive attitude. Personally I have properties in Oz and that's worked out extremely well. My reason for buying few properties in Thailand and giving to my long term partner is bit of forced savings for her when I'm long gone. Like most condominiums there are numerous rooms for rent. My idea to to furnish with good gear and rent for lower price. If the going rental for 60sm is 13k, then I'm fine with 11k. Just have the thing let. Partly explains slightly reticent to do complete makeover, as it's not for us. Love the place I'm at (we rent).
  5. Just prior to March 26 apply for a covid extension.
  6. Have you seen a report of covid extension given since Jan 25 to someone that entered on a non-O Which immigration offices?
  7. Like you ideas. The piece of wall that you suggest for new fridge is 700mm. An 11cf fridge is `600mm wide so that works. The area where pic shows current fridge is 880 wide and 600 deep left side however only 400 deep right (kitchen bench side). I understand folk suggesting new kitchen however we are not going to live in it. The hold back on putting fridge where you suggest is that there is no bench area in existing bench with the silly big sink. Have also considered bench coming off from that wall section if fridge not there.
  8. Like the idea of bench top. Ta
  9. Think one thing that might be useful in DIY forums is sharing of trade contacts. Bit unrelated to kitchen, however here is pics before/after of tree lopping had done at a townhouse. At the time was trying to find tress loppers with very little success. Including AseanNow. So these guys were a godsend. The pic before does not show full height of tree. It was big. 3 guys and a wife of one. Took two trucks of branches etc. Cost 3000 baht. Unbelievably cheap.
  10. Few posts similar to this. Personally think it's harsh. Here is pic from the lounge back to kitchen . Also couple of pics of similar unit that has had makeover. I'm not sure what you pay for 60sm close to (walking distance) Thailand Culture Center MRT. Everything has a price point.
  11. Thanks for your suggestions. Can you recommend someone or some place that does countertop.
  12. I'm certainly going to give the new online system a try next time. I have been using mail and my current one has not been returned via post. 6 weeks (posted 2 weeks prior due date and now currently 4 after).
  13. You make some valid points. Think your bit skinny with the 35-40k including appliances. New kitchen certainly an option. As I mentioned in OP...the actual cabinets and doors are in excellent condition. The norm is to just replace. Here is a simple makeover I did in my own joint. The previous bench top being tired laminated. Did an overlay stone top with new appliances.
  14. Agree. Here is option from homepro. Approx 50k installed.
  15. The picture I posted above of kitchen I put in townhouse a year ago was from homepro. Approx 50k without appliances, installed. Very cheap.
  16. This report indicated that photocopies of bank book pages sufficient at Jomtien is sufficient. As it should be.
  17. I'm not sure if it's the OP first report. He stated .... "I'm a newbie to 90 day reporting" Think he will need something to confirm his address. Perhaps a TM30 will cover it at Jomtien. I remember my first ever report in Bangkok and I showed a lease. OP, hopefully will confirm if it's his first.
  18. Apparently some reports of statements being required at various offices even using money in bank method for extensions retirement. Statements certainly not required at most offices using money in bank method. CW just one example. Sadly again the usual answer..... "Depends on the immigration office" You just have to laugh at the various rules for each office.
  19. Is this your first 90 day report. Your first report cannot be done online. You can do it in person or via mail.
  20. Yes. It would help if you indicated how long you would like to stay in Thailand to obtain best advice for your visit.
  21. Seems as though he is using "income method" You highlighted the OP comment ...."12-month deposit letter sent from Bangkok" I assume that he means 12 months of bank statements.
  22. https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add You need to register
  23. I had made the thread to hopefully have post from someone that did what you mentioned. Didn't happen to be done in BKK? Sounds like you were happy with the result.
  24. Exactly what I had been thinking. They have a largish sink (for a condo) leaving not much bench at all. Something to create a bench top area where they have that silly set of shelves. Those shelves are onto section of wall that is 70mm. So can do bench onto that wall
