Put 400k in Thai bank account. Apply for extension marriage. It only needs to be in bank for 2 months + under consideration period. You can then live off that money. What's the issue.

There are also those that have a non O and can obtain extensions based on retirement or marriage but choose to use covid extensions. I can't imagine why, surely not that strapped for cash.

Many/most imm offices were dating extension from day of application for your first covid extension. Subsequent ones were dated from end of current permission of stay. Recently helped a couple obtain first covid extension and that was dated from end of current permit. The reason being that agent was used. The other part of your post with concern about your next covid extension .....dont be concerned you will be able to obtain one.

Exactly. This is what I was stating to the OP. Some offices may allow the non O with the one year of transfers that you did. Certainly not CW. The OP should organize the 800k in bank account.

This is very common. Many reports of the farang needing bank account for Non O retirement. First question from bank Clerk... "Where is your work permit" Answer..." But miss I'm retired work not permitted" Catch 22 indeed. For anyone in this situation an agent to assist with opening Bank account good idea.

Your typing about extension. The OP is not applying for extension. He is applying for Non O based on marriage. BTW you haven't had marriage visa. No such thing. You have had 3 years of extensions based on marriage.

Please stop. It's been common and well know requirement that folk with a tourist visa or visa exempt entry are required to obtain the standard 30 day extension before they are eligible for covid extension. This question has been asked many times over a long period and the answer is the same.

OP, interested in this latest info. It's not uncommon for the "check list chicks" to have no idea. Get to an actual io at desk and my guess will be all good.

Read my earlier post re HH requiring email from embassy. Not just the affidavit for covid extension. As a result was forced to use agent. I realize this thread is about non O marriage. What circle is the OP traveling in that is causing issue with HH immigration.
