  1. Forget the regular visits. He will obtain extension at immigration office where he is living.
  2. Another farang that thinks he is a sheriff. Think you will find, custody wise that the mother is generally in the driver's seat.
  3. Obtain a covid extension before Feb 13. Obtain another before March 26. Hope that some borders will be open late May. OR ....see what you agent can do/offer.
  4. Covid extensions now continue post Jan 25. Current thread posted hours ago.
  5. That's exactly correct. I was thinking of non O retirement and marriage..
  6. Nor should they be able to use covid extensions. They have an option.
  7. Seems you haven't even looked into what's required. However these are your words from above..... "Hopefully by then the Communist party of Australia will let people with family there in not just Chinese students with rich parents". Seem you have complete confidence of the requirements. I suggest you do not.
  8. So immigration determine government policy. Disappointing. Out of control. Hope they all get cheapest flight out or "rent a flight" and return to ah immigration tomorrow.
  9. OP, bit of added info would help. At Jomtien (just one example) some folks are basically told to come back tomorrow. At CW if you are given a queue ticket you will be seen that day. If your planning on visit to immigration Tues 25 (pure guess) I would go very early.
  10. My guess is the opposite. Some folk coming visa exempt knowing that can obtain 30 day extension and follow that with 60 day covid extension. If covid to continue announced soon I would expect tourists looking for up to 4 month stay will be encouraged to come to Thailand.
  11. You have your extension. The return requirement is just to receive the stamp. Your total is 60 days.
  12. I assume your aware that you can apply for 30 day extension to each entry. Pushing the trip out by a month might see some changes to borders. Doubt it. METV unusual choice..
  13. Can only assume so. Im only going on my personal experience with previous system at CW. Perhaps ask in Pattaya forum. Your hotel can't print it out for you? Any printshop will do. Obviously you require internet to forward your confirmation email to them.
  14. There are numerous examples of uncooperative mother making access to child difficult. Even more so if they live in the boonies. The village folk can make life difficult. Sometimes the opposite is the case and mother happy to place child in father's care. Check out divorce forum for some colourful reading.
  15. If your dealing with CW. They have stall lower level. You forward the email on the spot and they print. Screenshot won't cut it.
  16. OP how old are you. Asking as to how long before you can obtain extensions based on retirement. You could look into PE visa. There is also marriage/divorce forum and you might obtain general advice/support there. Not just about visa options. If the wife is uncooperative re shared custody then it's an uphill battle.
  17. He went to CW. His map is showing MTT. ?? Edit: I see now that he went Mueang Thong Thani not CW.
  18. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131 Also here is recent thread with general advice.
  19. Just another example of how stupid people are. You can lead a horse to water.......
  20. A TM30 is not required for ongoing extensions. I always take copy of my lease just in case my address comes into question.
  21. No 1900baht paid on application. Second stamp walk in receive stamp walk out.
