  1. Don't need insurance or bank statements etc. Don't need anything from embassy. Here is link to affidavit. https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=727659 Most likely you need a TM30. You could check into a hotel that provides one. Messy but you have little time prior to Jan 25. The docs you need pretty much same photocopies of pp pages you used for previous 30 day extension. Same TM7 form etc. Have it all prepared as photocopy facilities at MTT are poor.
  2. That will also work. Frankly don't think it really matters. And your box 1 is the very reason why they should be continued. Have you made any inquiries regarding an agent doing the leg work to Trat for extension. BTW wherever you obtain the covid extension be that now or later be aware to find out if imm office is doing under consideration period. That affects your travel plans
  3. That seems to be the procedure for your first covid extension. The 60 starts from day of application. I can see the dilemma. Gamble on covid extensions continuing after Jan 25 and wait till closer to Feb 17. Personally I believe they will continue. Have to. Anyway your call. Is it possible to ring trat immigration and ask if they can date from Feb 17.
  4. By all means apply now. This week. Yes use TM7 form with same photocopies as per your 30 day extension. 1900 baht. Here is link for affidavit. You can tick second box. https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=727659 Yes you will need TM30. Ask hotel to screenshot of receipt. When does your current permission of stay end?
  5. In any event let's hope those applying for covid extensions this week are not chastised and berated as per some reports.. Along with demanding outbound flight. Strange that another thread (just started) has covid extension report from Phuket where there were no issues.
  6. These are my words from earlier post. "There have been reports of being given a covid extension with a month remaining on permission of stay". Can you direct me to report of someone obtaining a covid extension 45 days prior to expiry of permission of stay.
  7. Haven't read a report of that. In any event your now in Bangkok
  8. Generally everyone is made to obtain the standard 30 day extension prior to covid extensions at all immigration offices.
  9. Yep pre covid we traveled to Japan 3 times a year and always stayed Airbnb. Big backlash in Japan from residents complaining about Airbnb. So much so that the government made massive changes to the requirements. I was thinking about places like Trendy building Sukhumvit. Wouldn't live there for quids.
  10. Your referring to 12 month extensions. Yes CW is 45 days. This is about covid extensions. Couple weeks prior is the norm.
  11. Pre covid I traveled in/out of Thailand for over 6 months with both passports. No issue.
  12. Very much so. If using money in bank method then only photocopies of bankbook pages required. If using income method you would need 12 months of bank statements. Seems your using money in bank. This is my procedure at CW. Attend bank. Give clerk your bankbook with 100baht. Ask her to deposit the 100 and please make photocopy of this last page to show the deposit and update. Then she will attend to the bank letter. That's also 100baht most banks. Be aware that SCB do not have a branch at CW.
  13. Varies (as usual). Normally you would apply couple weeks prior to expiry of current permit. There have been reports of being given a covid extension with a month remaining on permission of stay. All you can do is try.
  14. You can obtain a non O retirement outside of Thailand. OP, where are you currently? If outside of Thailand are you aware that you can enter visa exempt and obtain non O retirement at immigration.
  15. Thanks for report and nice to see not the carry on that is happening to some at CW and MTT. As for que to photocopy....if people are that foolish not to prepare in advance the required docs and TM7 then what do folk expect.
  16. Hand drawn map of condo location. Along with bank book update make a small deposit or withdrawal. Photocopies of BB pages back to previous extension and Name account page. Your using money in bank method? Statements not required.. You obtain extension at CW. For entry you can sign form basically stating no symptoms etc. Be aware that on lower level there is photocopy print stall. Same level as banks. The appointment system is now available for CW and is a great option to speed things up. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/#serviceonline Don't go this week. Crowded due to covid extensions ending Jan 25. Early Feb is plenty early for your expiry Feb 19
  17. Even ubonjoe won't have that information. Last couple of times @ThaiVisaCentre have been quick with any news. Even then it's often not long prior to deadline. I assume your unable to obtain covid extension this week and hoping they will be extended.
  18. Good timing. You can return to MTT this week and obtain your covid extension. 1900baht. As you would be aware ...the photocopy facilities at MTT are poor so ensure your TM7 form and photo and copies of required passport pages all prepared. You have your TM30 good as they most likely will want copy of that. Go asap. Please report back your experience. Good luck
  19. And therein demonstrates why I live in a place opposite to what your describing. You would be my neighbor from hell. Fortunately you would not be permitted to do any of that in the condo building where I live. Your "friends" would not be allowed in. If your music troubled me I would report and problem solved. Some places have rooms owned by folk that sub rent them (often Airbnb or similar). Often causes problems. Not possible where I live. No private ownership.
  20. Do you have Thai bank account. Obviously that is essential step to obtaining Non O marriage.
  21. Sounds smick. As I mentioned. You obviously end up with what's suits your lifestyle. That area is very Farang and many like that. Guess it's not far from Lumpini park which would be nice. No parks where I am. Also if working then the spare room would be almost necessary. Again only by way of comparison my life is polar opposite. We enjoy lot of travel and can sometimes take off and spends months on island. Having a flash joint just wouldn't suit my particular lifestyle. As for you selection of layout again personal choice.. Under cover parking? I know you don't want a car. I didn't have one for many years and only purchased one last year. Love it. Bit lucky as we have the "large" room (small by comparison to what your looking at) which includes in building car space. Never ever thought I would want that. Indeed I do.
  22. Your permit was to Feb 7. They gave you a covid extension. Your starting date is February 7, 2022 so that means that 60 days later would be April 8, 2022
  23. IMO not even a choice to think about. Have a dedicated bank account for immigration purposes (extensions). Have a separate bank account for everyday banking. If you can afford to keep 800k+ all year round in your "extension" account then that's even better.
  24. Would mean you do one extra per year from your armchair. Seems not a big deal.
  25. Yes you could. In my previous post I mentioned that I'm not sure of exactly what documents are required in your situation being the owner. Ubonjoe or someone in your situation (owner) will advise shortly..
