90-day online report success first time
DrJack54 replied to Presnock's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Good news is that you have statement APPROVED. Some have "pending". You also mention "slips printable" Just take a screenshot of anything with next "due date" Good to read your success. -
You apply at immigration office where you are staying. If Bangkok that would be MTT immigration and would be issued on the spot but involves travel to office etc. Messy when on holiday. Personally would go with what I mentioned earlier. Oz passport for wife. Tourist Visa for both of you. Next time far easier and wife can exit Oz with her Thai pp.

Thanks....I have one over her now. She is wrong. That's rare.

That's an easy process. 1900baht. You stated... I was planning on a 60 day Thai tourist visa as we wish to stay at least 6 weeks this time around. What is cost of TV. You could bite the bullet and this visit obtain your wife Oz pp and both obtain TV. If you stayed longer than 60 days (doubtful!) be aware that TV can be extended by 30 days. 1900baht

Nup was mistake in my info from my Thai gf. She still maintains that the 10 year is 3500 and 1500 was promo. She is always on the money but I Googled cost after ubonjoe post and indeed all the info states 1500baht for the 10 year. On an aside: I'm obtaining new Oz one this year 13k+. 10k+ if I obtain in Oz. And folk say it's expensive in Thailand. Try Australia out.

Is that a difficult process? Ultimately an Oz pp for her would be handy. Why not get her an Oz pp if possible and travel to Thailand using that. While in Thailand she could also obtain her Thai pp.. GF tells me Thai pp currently 3500baht and does not take long. Does she have Thai ID card.

Will the Joker sue Australia for bad treatment. Boo Hoo. In an explosive new twist to the saga on Thursday, The Sun is reporting that Djokovic is weighing up a $6 million lawsuit against the Australian government. The $6 million sum reportedly includes the prize money that Djokovic could have potentially won had he been allowed to defend his Australian Open title

Yes, however in OP case immigration want the witness to come to imm office. No wonder why many married guys opt for extensions retirement. I personally wouldn't sit well with witness to imm and home visit.
-
You may not require home visit next time. Everything you mention above is common.

There have been many reports of success with this new system with previous failure using old system. We live in hope. -
My experience at CW extension retirement....... Attended CW Tues 2nd November for 12 month extension to non O based on retirement. Everyone has their own plan. I arrived 11.30am prior to 12pm closure for lunch in order to obtain que #. L92. (at lunch break they were at L74 Then went downstairs to bank for letter. I make deposit and ask lady to photocopy that last page showing activity (deposit) Lunch break....back in 1pm. Finished out the door 2.30pm. I provided: 1. Bank letter and photocopies bankbook pages. 2. Photocopies of required pages from passport and TM6 (well covered in many threads. 3. Map of my condo location (not hand drawn) 4. Copy first page of lease. (not looked at and I doubt if was required). NOT required: 1. I did not provide a TM30. 2. I had original of my last 90 report and she started typing info from it into computer as it was 3 days past due date. I pointed out that I had posted (mail) for current 90 report already. She stopped and pushed the report receipt back to me. 90 report not required. Only photocopies of bank pages required not statements. Note only one set of copies provided. Absolute walk in the park. As usual imm officer pleasant. Edited November 2, 2021 by DrJack54 Some added notes. Did not provide any previous bb. Just photocopies from previous extension. Did not provide previous passport. The information about your original Non O is recorded in first page of new pp. That's all that's required. For retirement no photos apart from the one on TM7.

Visa Agents? Yay or Nay?
DrJack54 replied to Edward Abbott's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks for update. I'm outta the threads from OP. Can never work out what info he is seeking and rarely contributes. IMO if he can come up with 400k then obtain non O marriage along with Extension and do it himself. Not difficult. If no funds or wants to avoid that obligation then use agent to obtain non O retirement along with extension. 25k Passport sent upcountry. Job done..
