Thanks. I read previous posts and corrected my thread. Edit. A tourist visa gives you 60 day permission of stay when you enter. A reentry permit protects that permit if you exit Thailand. It's validity date will match the stamp from you TV entry. You can leave and reenter. Cost 1000 baht. Can be obtained at airport. Dont do it ...don't go to Dabui. Wait till later. Hopefully back to test and go in future.

Up to the individual. They ran out of time for TV in the states and arrived visa exempt. I helped them with the standard 30 day at MTT. Next they went to HH and were able to obtain covid extension added onto end of current permission of stay. Also no under consideration period and off to islands shortly. Money well spent imo..

90 day online after changing address?
DrJack54 replied to Barley's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Do you mean leaving the country? If so do nothing. At departure no one is interested in your 90 report date. Just exit.. -
From Australian info regarding passport renewal...... "While you can renew your passport at any time, doing it too early will mean you pay before you really need to". I have 4 years and plenty of pages left on my pp. Going to obtain renewal this year as due to lot of travel it's looking sad and good time to renew with no international travel happening (for me)!

Can I start over from Chiang Mai ?

Where is one report? -
From the OP...... "My current one year ended in December 2021 but my passport expires in April 2022".. He means that his previous permission of stay ended sometime in December and he left applying for pp renewal till November. Very poor organization. He was Fortunate that covid extension was available.

The email will do the trick. Worst case scenario you could go to Bangkok if rejected and check into hotel that does TM30 for you. Here is screenshot of a USA couple I've been helping and just obtained covid extension HH. They also were asked for embassy letter. Hua Hin have gone rogue.

90 day online after changing address?

Try new improved system.... https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add -
Your applying for extension marriage using money in bank CW. Obtain your bank letter on day of application is best option. At same time make small deposit into account and subsequent letter from bank. You need to provide photocopies of pages showing two previous months prior to application and first page showing name on account etc. Note SCB do not have branch at CW.

90-day online report success first time

It's 7 days grace period if done in person. Be aware that your "due date" counts as day 1. -
Non-immigrant O -- No Thailand address
DrJack54 replied to dukeandduke's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Up to you. Personally I would be filing a TM30. I understand the Airbnb thing but that's causing the issue. -
You mention money in the bank 800k so your on extensions retirement. The only 60 day extension for you would have been covid extension. Obtain another one as I suggested earlier. As soon as you obtain your new pp you can obtain your annual extension. Any follow up on status of your new pp would be useful.
