  1. It's made in China, it's a Chinese car. The quality is no better than BYD though the specs may be higher
  2. Volvo is a Chinese car, I don't think it's any higher quality that a BYD for example, it is different however and the spec can be higher.
  3. Something interesting happened the other day in my Seal. I rolled the window down a couple of inches and a few minutes later the car decided to roll it up.
  4. Doesn't weed make you horny? I think he was advertising, maybe got no takers.
  5. It could be a power problem, do you have other USB devices connected?
  6. Volvo's are as good as all the other Chinese cars out there, IMHO they are overpriced. I would never consider a used Porsche, the parts and servicing costs are ruinous.
  7. Realistically, you have no chance of recovering money from someone overseas. There are 2 ways of looking at what you do with his possessions. Firstly, following the law, I'm not 100% sure what that is and the 2nd way is the practical way, which is what I recommend. Clean the apartment and relet it. Keep any of his possessions you want and dispose of the rest. If he ever gets in touch, do not give any details of what you have done in writing. Your position is he left nothing in there, he owes you rent, cleaning fee and utilities (which you can justify), if it gets legal with police or lawyers (which I very doubt) you state nothing was left and ask for your money. I suspect you will never hear from him again, learn from this, always take 2 months deposit and get right on it when they are late with rent. Trust your instinct on tenants.
  8. I see VinFast disappearing first, they are horrible cars.
  9. The MGZS, EP, and ES do have battery modules that can be changed, you don’t need to swap out the whole battery
  10. that is partially true. Ford has paused the large EV, and they are concentrating on smaller EV, they expect to launch a fully profitable $30,000 EV within the next 2 to 3 years
  11. Well, aren't you the ray of sunshine!
  12. Why are you confused @ExpatOilWorker, would you lie me to explain it to you?
  13. Yes I do share that opinion, I'm single, I can choose which side of the bed to get out of. I've been married, but I subscribe to the definition of stupidity, and in any event, being married has no benefits to the male, only future risk.
  14. Did someone get out the wrong side of the bed today? They don't come much more right wing than me and I also admire the achievements but despair about the man. I don't see what being right or left wing has to do with it, it's not a logical conclusion.
  15. Under the control of the megaruler with megapower, a megaego and with a megamouth on him.
  16. Years ago I bought a new Honda NSX. I got about 5,000 miles out of the first set of Tyres. I was told that was normal for the standard Yokohama Tyres. I switched over to Toyo Tyres and got around double, they also came with a replacement guarantee if damaged which I used twice. In my experience, tyre wear is down to the hardness of the rubber compound together with how hard you drive it. I will be surprised if I get more than 15,000km out of my Seal Tyres. It does have wider wheels than standard and I will step up the width 2 sizes on the next set.
  17. About a billion baht according to the budget.
  18. A snake and a trouser snake
  19. It’s as I said, only non-EV owners have range anxiety. Traveling from my home in CM to the border at Mae Sai, I wouldn’t need any charging stations.
  20. I thought all the rats were in Pattaya or Patong?
  21. I do head North out of Chiang Mai every 2 to 3 weeks. There are 3 fast DC charging stations on the 118 between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. In Chaing Rai there are lots. There's another half way to Mae Sai and another 2 in Mae Sai. What's the issue?
  22. The CO2 over the live of the vehicle more than covers the upfront production & water is a renewable resource. I'm interested in why you think EV's are a stop gap solution, what do you see as the final solution? Hydrogen?
