  1. Back to attacking the news bringer I see. Let’s have some of the promised transparency.
  2. I’ve seen almost identical arguments before, but they were not discussing terrorism. Well, not in the usual sense of the word.
  3. A nice bit of revisionism. The reality is the Tory Government had an unassailable majority in Parliament, no other party could challenge their Rwanda policy. It failed because it was ill conceived and in breach of UK law. £700,000,000 of tax payer’s money pished away deporting 4 migrants, all of whom were volunteers.
  4. It wasn’t Labour that created the backlog.
  5. At the very least I expect we are in for a spirited analysis based on microscopic examination of the semantics surrounding the term ‘lying’.
  6. Here you go: ”"Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat," Trump said. "Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated." https://www.npr.org/2025/06/21/nx-s1-5441127/iran-us-strike-nuclear-trump
  7. Do you believe Iran will not retaliate? Do you believe Iran has the right to retaliate?
  8. Utter hogwash. The RAF prevented the Luftwaffe gaining air superiority in the Battle of Britain, Goering then made the fatal error of redirecting the Luftwaffe from attacking the RAF bases to night bombing of UK cities. At no time after the Battle of Britain were the Luftwaffe in any position to provide the necessary air cover for an invasion of the UK. The extent of American involvement in the Battle of Britain was limited to the very welcome and much appreciated contribution of American volunteers within RAF ‘Eagle Squadrons’.
  9. Rather than imagine the Middle East without US wars, examine what those wars have actually delivered.
  10. Rather fitting in the context of this news item that some rely on a Zionist leader to do their thinking for them.
  11. “In the long term, there’s no telling how this story will play out, no one knows.” Let’s agree on that shall we. And keep in mind the outcome of every other American war in the Middle East.
  12. Yet another war that has commenced with a belief on the part of the aggressor that the opening assault was decisive.
  13. Direct consequence of the previous Tory Government losing control of the UK’s borders. Oh dear, a problem to be resolved rather than poked at.
  14. “Like Thatcher said. The trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.” The same Thatcher who sold off the nations assets to fund her failed economic experiment. The nation’s silver hawked off to Tory chums leaving working people with hollowed out public services and the wheels turning on the collapse of British society. Private profit, socialized consequences.
  15. Troll elsewhere. It wasn’t me that suggested following Putin’s.
  16. I’m not sure taking a leaf out of Putin’s playbook is at all good thing.
  17. I wasn’t asking you to prove my point, but thanks all the same.
  18. The whataboutary is running thick in this thread.
