  1. I can’t approve of something that is not a thing. Thete is zero evidence of political interference in the investigations into Trump’s alleged crimes. Well Apart that is from Trump’s ‘mobster threats’ to the AG and Lindsey Graham’s attempt to interfere with the investigations.
  2. So you missed Trump’s hand picked AG Barr using the Justice system to imprison Michael Cohen for exercising his First Amendment rights to author s book.
  3. I have really enjoyed your comments criticizing Trump and the rightwing when there was clear cause to do so. Or at least I might have, had you any semblance of the neutrality you so frequently claim.
  4. Your call to use the Justice system from r political vengeance is suggestive of irrationality. But go ahead, I’m all ears. What crimes do you believe former President Obama committed?
  5. Well apart from that being an example of an overt desire to use the Justice system for political vengeance, what crimes do you believe former President Obama committed? Please note, I have not in asking you this question requested you provide evidence, I just want to know the extent of your delusions.
  6. The TC/SCI documents, recovered from Mar-a-Largo during the lawfully authorized, lawfully executed search. Next step, place the evidence before a Grand Jury, refer Fifth Amendment of the Constitution of the US.
  7. You seem sure of what’s in/not in documents you haven’t seen. Well of course you are.
  8. Trump is not President at this time. He has a history of actively destroying evidence. He was in possession of TC/SCI documents relating to national security Let the investigation run its course.
  9. No, you assert it is politically motivated, but you have produced zero evidence of it being so. A search warrant was lawfully issued, a search warrant was lawfully executed, TS/SCI documents relating to national security were discovered at the property and lawfully removed. The investigation is on going. It is right, proper and standard procedure to protect witnesses and protect the investigation from interference. Trump will be given the affidavit of and when an indictment is handed down by a Grand Jury, just like every single person subject to criminal investigation is. ‘Still no indictment’. Indictments are handed down by Grand Juries, it takes time. It is the Grand Jury’s job to examine the evidence to determine if an indictment is appropriate, if the case is ‘flimsy’ the Grand jury will toss it out Or is this another Constitution of the US thing you need schooling on? Fifth Amendment, if you care to look.
  10. What’s Trump being an ex President got to do with judicial process? The FBI can search any private citizens home of they obtain a warrant to do so. Why should the FBI treat a former President any different. One law and nobody above it! Thanks for providing the reference to the warnings Trump and his Allie’s are handing out on ‘Truth Social’, they are exactly the reason why the identities of witnesses in the Affidavit must be kept secret.
  11. And very rightly so. This is an ongoing investigation into national security, why do Trump and his supporters want to see an affidavits that they all know will be delivered to them if an indictment is filed? Perhaps they want to know the names of witnesses, to stick their names addresses and the names and addresses of their families on ‘Truth Social’. Affidavits in ongoing criminal investigations are not revealed to targets of investigations unless an indictment is filed, at which point they are delivered to the ‘defendant’ as part of ‘disclosure’. As for Lindsey Graham wading into this claiming information is being withheld - well yes Lindsey, you know how that works don’t you, as you wriggle and squirm to trying to fight a subpoena and avoid giving testimony under oath against Trump in the Georgia vote rigging investigation of which Trump is the target.
  12. She’s on a roll. Truss’ latest pro-big business, anti consumer madness idea is to merge the UK’s financial regulators (the organizations set up to prevent banks from gambling with the nation’s credit and protect consumers from financial fraudsters). https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/aug/18/liz-truss-merge-financial-regulators-fca
  13. Liz dare not face Britain’s farmers, but never mind the NFU can ‘empty chair’ her. On the upside, they’ll probably get more sense out of an Empty Chair: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/liz-truss-farmers-tory-leadership-b2147640.html
  14. Got my first degree in Birmingham, and as with many a former student I look back on Birmingham with fond memories. I lived on Devonshire Road, Handsworth wood, used to go to Reggae and Ska clubs in Handsworth, Lazells and Soho Road. The latter the home of ‘The all night barbers’. Great memories of a fantastic vibrant city. Oh nearly forgot - The food!
  15. In the absence of any evidence to the contrary, why would he think any differently?
  16. I’d say the country’s gone down the pan, except for the fact there’s no water to flush it with.
  17. It’s more than grim already, how people already struggling will cope when energy costs go up again and winter fuel bills need paying.
  18. So you’ve found a Fox News opinion that contradicts the news being reported widely elsewhere. I’m however with you on your ‘Good For Him’ thing. I’m sure Weisselberg will do exactly whats ’Good for himself’.
  19. I leave others to put up with your constant off topic trolling. I’ll be back tomorrow to discuss whatever, U-turns, insults to the electorate or other random nonsense Truss comes out with in the interim.
  20. Sorry, I responded keeping to the topic under discussion’Liz Truss’ bid to become PM’. I have absolutely no interest in taking part in your constant off topic trolling of this and other threads. I thought I had previously made that abundantly clear.
  21. What’s allegedly going on elsewhere in the world doesn’t matter to people in the UK having to choose between ‘heating and eating’ or those who cannot afford to eat every day. People who can’t get to see a doctor, or those who can’t find a dentist, people who call for an ambulance that arrives hours later, or for the police who don’t even bother showing up. Problems in the UK, not problems elsewhere, the selection of a leader for the UK who has no solutions for the problems people in the UK are struggling with. But she does hold and express offensively derogatory views about British workers. Good luck with that.
