    I went there last Fri wanting to feast but because music was scheduled the restaurant was closed. The cost for a table for 4 is around 4000 baht, just for seating. You better love Chang because that's the only beer. But a large wine and whisky selection. Had to settle for Num ban ban.

    Is this what happens to retired expats in Thailand? More specifically those who live in a small condo and no outside interests besides eating. But I suppose that's a topic for another thread. My kid has duel passports US and Thailand, but as for me I don't really care. I jump through a few hoops to stay here year after year. I can't understand what idiot would give up US citizenship.

    I agree an ocean beach walk is wonderful. A few hits makes for some interesting thoughts about life and family. Is it necessary? Absolutely not.

    The laundry list of wasted money for BS causes needs to be wiped clean. I sort of equate it with clearing off my desk, it's overflowing with unneeded stuff. Keeping the stuff maybe seemed like a good idea at the time but not now.
