  1. Won't tightening up the gun laws perhaps even increase these shootings? Look at me, you stupid people, make all the laws you want....I'm still a crazy MF'er and I will get the job done. When I grew up in the 70's I had a 22 semi-auto rifle at age 12 and a 22 revolver at age 16. This is Callie I'm talking not W. Virginia. Never once did I have any thought of harming anyone except for ground squirrels and frogs. I could take my rifle on my Honda 90 scrambler drive down the road to a friends house without anyone batting an eye.

What happened???? I haven't owned a gun in years, I'm mainly overseas.

As stated earlier, there's something far more sinister going on than being able to buy guns. What ever the solution is, I deep in my heart don't feel radical gun laws will change a thing.

In France, where this word comes from , it's a normal and polite word ( same as "mrs " ); maybe connected to sex in Pattaya, but I suppose that in immigration office it has a polite meaning , we can feel it as showing respect to a lady

I like to call the ladies who dress over the top as "super Madam" or super ouu la la. My lady has been called the same but only by her close friends as a joke.

My wife is not high-so, but if we are going to local market or nearby Tesco or reg mall then I can get away with shorts and T-shrit . If we are going to hi-so mall or Gov Office (immigration/land office) where they call her "Madame" I need  Polo Shirt, Giordano ect and probably slacks/jeans NO flip flops or sandels or she will say your not going with me. I shower twice a day ,more if nescessary. Always shave in morning (except when I had a trim beard and mustach) Always wear deoderant/anti-perspirant and after shave (cologne if going out on evening date. Never had a pedicure in US but so cheap and easy here I have it done along with nose/ear hair.

I never felt comfortable going out in public looking scruffy, dirty, smelly looking like a homless person/bum who does. I was never obese but got fat which almost killed me (heart attck) so workout eat better now.

And, you think it's a compliment to have folks calling wife "Madame".????

I'm 51.  6'1"  69 kgs (I was 82 kgs but switched to Intermittent fasting to lose weight).  Being slim and not having a fat gut is extremely important to me.  I would be too ashamed to go out if I looked like a fat slob.

I check my nose hairs, eyebrows and ear hair every day. I don't shave every day but I never go more than a couple of days as I don't like to look scruffy.  I keep my hair cut very short although to be fair I've not got a full head of hair anymore either.

I always try to dress smart and that means always wearing nice shoes like these that I bought recently and are the type of thing I wear on a daily basis.

If you go to the trouble of decent shoes, how about some decent slacks.????

A start would be outlawing (not just preventing new sales of) automatic weapons, assault rifles and such...

No law abiding American needs to have those kinds of weapons for hunting, personal protection or any other legitimate reason.

However, it's in large part all the "law abiding" gun owners you're talking about, and the politicians they support, that have allowed these kinds of mass shootings to occur by opposing at every step of the way any reasonable version of gun controls.

In a different America, if these would-be mass killers only could get a knife or a regular handgun, they simply could not inflict the kind of mass deaths and casualties in very brief periods of time that are occurring here.

Think of how many lives would be saved if we lowered the speed limit on freeways to 40 MPH, we have no need to drive 80 MPH.

  6. Are we talking a quick short time or a relationship that's going to cost you. A mia noi isn't going to be cheap is she? Don't think she's going to settle for an occasional meal, me personally, I'd rather buy my kid another present than give it away to a side dish. Guys with mia nois take care of them, have kids....But if you got the money, well why not. Me, I couldn't do it, couldn't explain to my little girl why daddy can't be home tonight.

a wild guess is your gf never raised the issue,

i came to the conclusion they all want us to dress up,

some say it and some dont.

fo me it didnt really make a difference, so why didnt i fulfill her wish ?

If dressing up means long pants and reg. shoes then I decline, I might have some nice shirts sewn, I don't wear cargo shorts, I don't do tank tops.

Aren't you the same guy in another thread that accused the XMax of being fugly?

And now we find out you ride around on a Scoopi?

    That's pretty funny. ????????

I have an NMax and an XMax. Either one would do the job. But there is a lot of difference in the ride between these two bikes.

The XMax is way more heavy-duty, rides smoother, and has a lot more power than the NMax.

Between the two, I would recommend the XMax for the OP to carry that big of a load.

However, the NMax is a much more agile at low speeds.

Both are great bikes. Fugly or not. ????

Yes here I am, Scoopi is my old lady's choice, not same same as the other large bikes. I'm more of a Raider fan, about to get another. Having a manual shifter makes driving more fun.

Oh, and thanks for thinking of me.....

I am higher and heavier. And I ride if often enough with my gf together - another 50kg.

Yes, the bike is relative small compared to my size and I won't win a best looking guy on bike competition with it.

But the Raider has a strong frame and wheels and a powerful engine and good brakes and I like it a lot splitting lanes on Sukhumvit. I don't think there is any smaller and more powerful bike for sale in Thailand.

I have the 2014 version with air cooling and oil cooler (no water) and I never had problems even in long time stop and go traffic.

I also have a KTM Duke 390 which is also lots of fun (about 45HP) but also considerably bigger.

If I would have to chose to own just one bike I am not sure which one I would choose. I am sure the Raider is faster in average in the typical bad inner city traffic.

If you are interested in a good Suzuki dealer in Bangkok let me know. I am very happy with the one where I bought and service my Raider.

I'm in the Rayong area, so I'll find one there or the one in Pattaya. Price was 69,000 bht as compared to 67,000 a few years back. They're FI now.
