  1. Bactrian camels are a critically endangered species, please don't put them at risk with your corpulence.
  2. Pre-emptive pardon, to protect him from Trump's vindictiveness. The only thing he is guilty of is outing Trump for wanting to start a war to stay in power.
  3. You can get one posted to you by a friend or relative. I have an Aldi SIM for Australia, a Truemove SIM for Thailand. Both pay as you go. Topping up phone credit with an Aldi SIM is about as easy as it gets. I don't use apps on my phone, I prefer a laptop.
  4. When I needed a Certificate of Residence in Chiang Mai, the choice was to pay 1000 baht to get it the next day, or wait one month to get one free of charge. In Chiang Rai Immigration, I got a CR in two days, no fee. Draw your own conclusions.
  5. Duke's IME is terrible food. I had a fish burger there once that was still frozen in the middle. I didn't say anything, just never went back. Auf Der Au and Butter is Better both have good food.
  6. DIY for about ten years in both CM and CR. I have always had the 800K required on deposit. I don't touch it. I am guessing you are saying life can get more difficult if one is tied to an agent for the financials.
  7. Why? I had my permission to stay first in Chiang Mai, then after ten years moved to Chiang Rai. I have been doing my extensions in Chiang Rai for the last 4 years.
  8. From what I have seen posted on this thread, I have to disagree with your last sentence.
  9. Sorry, my keyboard does not have Russian characters.
  10. Leo and Singha cannot compare to the thought bubbles the OP has.......
  11. Scopolamine has been around for more than a century, please try to keep up.
  12. Plenty of places in Chiang Rai with Western food, although I or my GF cook for ourselves most of the time. Eating out, Cumberland sausage and mash with peas, Spinach and cheese omelette, whole roast fish, Caesar salad. I also like Thai mussuman curry, pad thai goong, and pad siew gai. Then there's a ham, cheese and salad roll with a mango smoothie. 180 baht at the Hungry Nest, Jetyod Road, Chiang Rai
  13. If Milley was kidnapped and tortured by Iran or Russia, how many military secrets would he disclose? Once again, a post from you, sitting at the apex of dumbf###ery.
  14. Gilgunnia, western New South Wales. The closest town is Nymagee, about 60 km away. It is possible to see galaxies behind the Milky Way. Or there's Parkes, the site of an observatory.
  15. Every day on this forum, I see posts which make me yearn for a revival of the science of eugenics. We do it for plants and animals, somehow tin hats are spared.
  16. Thank you for reminding me the standard response of Trump supporters is to shoot the messenger. So much easier than having to assemble facts to refute what has been posted. Talking of misinformation and false narratives- who was it claimed he would end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, and said Haitians in Springfield were eating cats and dogs?
  17. Many Americans don't seem to realize 50% of their oil comes from Canada. At a discount. If Trump wants to start putting tariffs on Canada, what's to stop the Canadians from selling their oil elsewhere?
  18. So capable he cost a couple of hundred thousand Americans their lives during a pandemic. So sane he has appointed an anti-vaxxer to be the health czar. Let's see how capable you think he is after your SS shrinks, or his tariff wars increase the cost of living for the Americans who can least afford them.
  19. I'm betting if it was Trump who got dudded for 3.5 million votes, you would not care if it was the Dogpatch Daily.
  20. I am wondering if Trump will be seeking to fire the Secret Service member who refused to drive him to the Capitol on January 6.
  21. It seems rewriting history is an occupation embraced by MAGA acolytes.
  22. $450K. Do you want a gold star for your forehead, or a Hopalong Cassidy badge?
  23. He had a successful career as a lawyer prior to entering the White House. In 2009, his income was $5.5 million. You are assuming there are no mortgages on the properties, and Michelle did not contribute. She worked as a lawyer too. I don't know what he believes, but people with wealth are better insulated from climate change, and neither of us knows how elevated both properties are. Waterfront covers a range of elevations.
