If your UK motorcycle license still valid (not expired) then you can get your Thai M license without riding test, but still you need to ask your area DLT office, since every office of any department has own recipes here.

Restaurant owner confronts negative reviewer at their home
The Theory replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News Headlines
True, I've experienced the same case even in Japan. The food photo was 2 pieces of fish and when I received the food on the table there was only one. I called the waiter and I showed him the menu photo, the answer was an angry face ???? only. Cheaters expect customer just be a dog, eat, pay and leave with no complain. -

I would use an UV filter (about 7 watts each) in each water storage tank. I have plan to hang them in my water tanks rather than in the middle of fast flow water pipes. And they just need to be on part time by a timer. Perhaps 3 or 4 times a day for an hour or 2. -
Bridge Expansion Due to Temperature Still Safe, Department Confirms
The Theory replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
It is safe, because no casualties yet.???? Just like escalators. All safe.???????????? My gf asked me if someone gets killed by the bridge who will be responsible for it? I replied, of course nobody will be. Today the bridge is safe, tomorrow nobody will be responsible, because it was checked the day before and it was safe. -
Most people have no idea what is a quality work. One of them even had no clue about wiring a 2way switch ????. I've dealt with many different contractors during my house construction. Amazing experience ????????. They all say yes and they can do the work ????????. If you have no idea about construction (mostly don't) then you will be surprised when the job is done. I believe it is just a matter of luck if you find the right one.

Residential electrical installations - best practices?
The Theory replied to OneMoreFarang's topic in The Electrical Forum
I did my house wiring by myself. The house is small (50sqm), but modern. I used all Schneider products, specially love the breaker box (MCB/RCCB, 14 breakers+lightening protector). The house is small but many different electrical sections than makes it easy for troubleshoot in case of an electrical problem. The kitchen has 3 different lines. 1 line with 16A breaker, 2 outlets in 2 opposite walls for 2 refrigerators (RCCB). 2nd line 16A breaker for 2 switched outlets + 1 for kitchen hood (RCCB). 3rd line 10A breaker for kitchen TV and blower above kitchen door (no RCCB). All 3 lines used 2.5sqmm wires. -
Roof on my house is leaking, how to fix it? Photos included ...
The Theory replied to AndyAndyAndy's topic in DIY Forum
I did 1" insulated roof and it was a good decision, especially for heat. It worth it if it holds for 10 years then I will replace it with a new one. -
Pattaya is a tourist city unlike CM. The type of tourists are different. Even farang who live in Pattaya are different than farang in CM. 2 different city for different purposes.

Water pump too strong, any pressure reducing devices?
The Theory replied to KhunBENQ's topic in DIY Forum
Right as you mentioned you use water at different distanced locations and it's not just a house that I understood from OP. pump is only one side of story about pressure, piping is the side of story. If it's not designed correctly (pipe sizes and pipeline plan) then water pressure will be different. -
Water pump too strong, any pressure reducing devices?
The Theory replied to KhunBENQ's topic in DIY Forum
We live in Thailand, standards are different. Especially with pvc pipes and the way builders glue them together and put them in cement. And pipe size and plumbing plan matter. It is not only about pumps. I have used 150w for a small one-story house for 2 people. I have a rain shower in my bathroom ant it works great while my gf using water in kitchen and washer working. I have done all plumbing by myself mostly 1" and 3/4, only used 1/2" where there is a 1/2" valve. -

Yes ฿6000 Hitachi pump, 150 Watts One story does not need more than 150w. For a big family and more than 2 bedrooms 200w fits better. -
Taco Bell opening new location in #Jomtien next week
The Theory replied to redwood1's topic in Pattaya
I've had Taco Bell bean burritos many times (more than 20 years ago). I liked the taste, but how clean they were that was the question. I guess it was depends on the town where it was located. Mission Viejo area was ok with me, but once one of my co-workers bought some tacos from El Segundo area. A small????jumped out of her Taco as soon as she opened the bag.???? -
