  1. You're a bit late. November 2015 I bought more than twice as many coins for 124000 baht.
  2. Is your landlord a foreigner?
  3. Don't use the landlords bottle. Get your own bottle and use it. This will save you a lot of effort taking the landlord bottle to get refilled. Many years ago I bought a new bottle. It needed refilling, the Mrs got the gas guys, they brought a full bottle, it was out of date. So, my safe new empty bottle was replaced with a dangerous out of date full bottle.
  4. Unreal, should be an added scene in all Thai soap opera's. The making of a great Thai soap opera....... sexual dramas, a Lady Boy, a Ghost and now a Wasabi eating incident
  5. Another delinquent at the wheel. Bloody reckless lunatic. No one ever means to kill on our roads.
  6. Ha ha. That brings back memories. It was early days working in Saudi, I was waiting for the gate to open at Survarnabhumi. As you come down the escalators from duty free there would be a lady in a kiosk selling cans of beer, she had a small fridge, I used to buy a couple of beers, drinking one and putting the other in my carry on luggage waiting for boarding. I forgot I had this beer in my bag. Unpacking my bag in the Mercure I found it, I nearly sh.t myself. I poured out the contents crushed the can and placed it in a small rubbish bin in the toilet by the lobby. You don't want to get caught bringing booze into Saudi.
  7. I never said I wanted to get intoxicated. I just wanted a glass of red wine with my steak dinner.
  8. Please, get your friends take a video, your insurance company may want a copy when your relatives/loved one's make a claim.
  9. Surely this is embarrassing for Thailand's police force. I'm pro Thailand and get offended by the many negative comments about Thailand that I read everyday. This is one subject I reckon I'm within my rights to comment negatively, these needless death on our roads, it's so pathetic. Driving on our roads I see this bad behavior everyday, the police just turn a blind eye, it's unacceptable, a bloody joke. It hurts me to see Thailand's road death toll, so many beautiful Thai's killed needlessly, everyday. It's so easy to fix. Police please do your job.
  10. Yep, I agree with the above, not wearing seat belts.. They seem to go out of their way to make life a little more dangerous. Never wearing a helmet when riding motorcycle and refuse to wear a seat belt when driving. The Mrs makes a special effort to connect the seat belt behind her back so the dash alarms are disabled.
  11. Ha, ha. You aint seen nothing. You want to spend a bit of time in Australia.
  12. When the term 'big bike' is mentioned, it always hits a nerve. I reckon most of the reported accidents by big bikes are the smaller bikes around 250, 300, 400cc group. The government for some time now has been looking for riding license categories because of the many accidents by these big bikes. I hope when they get around to making the changes, do what most other countries have done, all those with a bike license automatically get a big bike license and new licenses to start of with a restriction.
  13. While you are at it, put Boss (red bull) on the Interpol list
  14. Yep, I mentioned Hafele previous page. It's a lot dearer but well worth it
  15. I sorta agree, but I didn't want to offend. Back in Australia my first bike was a CB500 with a Yoshi 4 into 1s, it was a death trap, I had a few tank slaps but it sounded great, music to the ears. My first bike in Thailand was a Buell XB9S back around 2006, and I've had a couple of big Ducati's since. Love my Ducati's. Sadly the smaller twins just sound like a lawn mower with a performance pipe, buying a twin you've really got to get at least a 800cc twin to sound nice. You can get the Japanese 4 cylinders to sound nice with a proper exhaust.
  16. I reckon you've got to get up around the 650cc to be classified as a big bike. My mate has a CRR650r, bloody nice bike, factory 87PS, fit an exhaust you're up there around 100. Being a Japanese 4 cylinder it has a bloody beautiful sound. Cheap as chips, well worth it ✌️
  17. Similar disputes happen in Australia. Tow truck drivers are always getting into punch ups
  18. I only buy Hafele these days All plumbing and kitchen items Never have leaking plumbing now https://www.hafelehome.co.th/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&gclid=Cj0KCQiA0p2QBhDvARIsAACSOOPPKgPuwnn2cszadzYaB3VbULSQBC7QBBK8y4wd8t8encF-6huCrKwaAkX_EALw_wcB
  19. Reading the many, many negative comments I see regularly on AN forums by members, I reckon you'd be better off asking your questions elsewhere. Most are glass half empty guys here.
  20. These guys had their wounds dressed at the hospital on their arrival. I hope they survived.
  21. Sadly happens to the pillion (usually young girl) way too often because 9 out of 10 times the rider (selfish guy) is wearing an expensive full face helmet and the poor girl has no helmet on. Makes me so angry, actually I'm getting angry right now writing this comment. ????
  22. I get that often. I pull over abruptly, allowing the idiot to pass, this confuses them. Mess with their minds
  23. Immatureity See all too often, even the foreigners here in Pattaya. You'll see these idiots speeding down soi Buakhao, riding dangerously. Slow down fools, enjoy the scenery, lovely little things walking the streets these days. ????????
