  1. @vinny41 suggested someone read the terms and conditions of MG lifetime warranties but it would seem some here prefer to have valid suggestions or questions like these flagged as troll posts. This of course only confirms what's already been said about the sensitive monitors of this topic. I too would like to read the conditions attached to this amazing lifetime warranty. A search reveals lots of excited media people repeating the same MG announcement but no one revealing the important detail. Is this a one million kilometre battery and motor warranty? If so what are the conditions.
  2. Its exactly what you are thinking, allows the screw terminals to be pulled out.
  3. I told you to follow the subject in a previous post, if you had listened; there would have been no need for you to make such ridiculous post. Having said that, please let me know if you are having difficulty keeping up or struggling with the technical side and I will make exceptions.
  4. My comment "The recipe for a throw away product" is specifically targeted at cell-to-body production where battery replacement might not be cost effective. If you read the past few posts beginning with new BYD vehicles, the subject flow is quite easy to follow.
  5. No doubt they can be replaced; but how much extra work does it involve compared to a regular self contained pack. Perhaps you have a link to the detail I cannot find or maybe share some insider info. I follow the development of ICE and EV technology and would appreciate any detail on how manufactures plan to make batteries that are integrated into a vehicles frame serviceable. There are many body-in-white diagrams explaining the idea but no in depth detail about repair and service.
  6. The recipe for a throw away product.
  7. BYD has started using cell-to-body techniques in production which I guess includes these new EV models. Would be interesting to know exactly how this has been implemented and does it make faulty battery replacement more difficult. There is much discussion around how this weight reducing method can make battery replacement difficult and is it the beginning of a true throw away vehicle.
  8. Making sure I pass all information in a link cooks my goose, it's a choice based on fact not opinion.
  9. Its not always a good idea to remove URL parameters because they often contain important information about what choices a visitor has made on a particular page. Examples would be multi product variants languages and map locations. URL parameters allow the browser to keep state and pass that state to others if required. Example - mywebsite.com?color=blue&size=20&language=english&location=TH Better to shorten the text and add the full URL like this. https://th.aliexpress.com Or this Click to view.
  10. Maybe he picked up the info here :-
  11. Yes and regen braking was around in 1905.
  12. The Toyota 1NZ-FXE Hybrid engine shown in your video post is currently used in several vehicles example would be the Prius. Toyota hybrids are a continuous improvement program using mostly the same technology. People define new technology in different ways which can lead to argument.
  13. The video that made Jordan Peterson famous.
  14. On that note, I believe the CreamPai M3 V8 is for sale.

  16. The market is a nightmare because some of the fakes actually have decent quality cells under the label.
  17. I can confirm the Liitokala NCR18650B from Lazada Smarttech store do meet the Panasonic data sheet capacity and weight spec. The BIL has repaired several power tool batteries using these cells. Note, these cells are available with or without protection circuit depending on application. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/18650-liitokala-ncr18650b-3400mah-2-i1704920103-s4829984450.html
  18. Wife's family who live in Nong Prue M1; delivered produce to this restaurant before the covid period. Mother-in-law says the restaurant has been demolished and land owner was in the process of filling in the pond. No info about opening another restaurant. Along with the covid disaster, the area has suffered the usual cut and paste frenzy which has diluted the customer base to the point where many good restaurants closed.
  19. A lone faulty blade battery cell has recycling potential but getting it out of a pack and replacing with new would be quite a challenge. Blade cells are sandwiched together welded to shared BMS boards and cross links then bonded to cooling plates.
  20. Digital forensics, a defence lawyers worst nightmare.
  21. Lived in China for 15 years married to a Chinese doctor made several successful TV shows about China. When Chinese social media made threats he moved to the US and attacked back with all the negatives. Australian car salesman and YouTube drama queen.
  22. What I would do now is bring the ATS connections onto a terminal block and attempt to simulate what is required to initiate a remote start. This will prepare you for interfacing with the programmable controller.
  23. Not yet. Contact KSP they might have a generic motor available. https://www.kspparts.com/collections/vaccum-cleaner-parts
  24. He should really sketch out the internal wiring because these Chinese gensets follow no standard and it would be useful to know how this particular genset has handled a five pin ATS port. Good news is Smartgen have designed their controller to handle starter solenoid and fuel control current directly if required.
