Most plastic body sprinkler valves are 24V AC. Sprinkler controllers like Rainbird or Hunter will drive 24V AC valves directly and include power supply. Sprinkler controllers allow timed programming of zones and operating sequence of each zone with seasonal adjustment if required. Controllers and valves are available in Thailand. A 4 zone Hunter controller will cost about 3500B 24V AC valve

Yes. The PSI P33 inverter (3.3 kW from the Sofar stable) has real time production values available in display along with total production to date. The photo indicates possible CT connected so likely derating and not exporting. It would make sense for the OP to read output from the inverter display at sunny noon; once with all the house appliances turned on and again with them turned off.

Variable and weak water pressure at a small hotel
Fruit Trader replied to Bassosa's topic in DIY Forum
The pressure tank label will likely show the tanks max operating pressure. Bladder tanks are normally charged to approx 1-2 psi below pump cut in pressure with the water side fully discharged. -
If the OTP code suggests EEPROM error, this can be generated if the EEPROM itself is faulty or from a fault on the mother board preventing the main CPU from communicating with the EEPROM IC. Firing the parts cannon at faulty units that use EEPROM to store options and model codes will very likely fail and end with either the indoor or outdoor unit unable to validate its components. Authorised Samsung service technicians use set procedures and diagnostic tools to find faults on these units. A central tech support provides data files for EEPROM programming based on serial number. Cut your losses and call Samsung service.

Most common house pumps like the Mitsubishi WP-305 are of the regenerative turbine type. When changes are made to pressure control switches it’s important not to exceed the limit of the motor because regenerative turbine pumps act differently to regular centrifugal pumps when the head changes. Running these pumps continuously against a high head will surely cause the motor protection switch to reach its limit. This following link explains in more detail how regenerative turbine pumps compare to regular centrifugal types. https://www.rothpump.com/regenerative-turbine-pump-little-pump-big-head.html?no_redirect=true

Thai man demands responsibility for explosion after fridge repair
Fruit Trader replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
A video capture of the scene clearly shows brazing equipment which is used make connections on refrigerant lines. Near to the gas bottles is a concrete cover which has lifted and was likely covering a septic tank. Very common in Thailand for people to extend property over drains and septic tanks. -
install water line in tunnel under concrete walk

We used the jet method for electrical duct over about 1.5M in a tight space using water hose and a short piece of leader pipe. Example :- -
The BYD blade batteries have cooling plates bonded across the full width of each cell. Each blade cell is capable of conducting heat towards the point where contact is made with the cooling plate. Not the best choice for those wishing to dismantle and repurpose EV batteries.

Possible an air leak has developed in the suction line used for cleaning. It might take several minutes for a pump to lose prime after the leaking vacuum line valve has been opened. First check all accessible joints and valves for leaks on the suction side. Why is the bottom drain line missing, is it because there was an inaccessible leak?

The Thai listing is partly to blame because it included the word "plugon" in the description for Acti9 products. This will cause confusion for those seeking the original plugon breakers. The Acti9 system is a completely different animal.

New LED street lights brighten up Hua Hin’s Soi 112

These are high level true 100W (400W HID equivalent) lights illuminating a highway two on each pole. When you have real 200W power on each pole possibly operating from dusk to dawn, the solar panels and battery become a real challenge. -

Yes the old they do they don't story, and it's quite believable that immigration need the cash or maybe even have a cash share agreement with the land transport office. In an attempt to clear up any confusion; the brother in law called the Pattaya land transport office today to ask about yellow book status. He was passed over to the dept checking licence paperwork. The following information was given although I doubt if this applies to all offices :- The Pattaya office has not accepted the yellow book for several years when applying or renewing a licence that covers all of Thailand. Some exceptions were made during the Covid lockdown period. The Yellow book is acceptable if a Chonburi area only licence is required. The office has decided an immigration resident paper is more reliable for obtaining up to date residence status because it is connected with the latest TM30 information.
-
March this year I took a friend to the Pattaya transport office for licence renewal, he was armed with yellow book, pink card and the here long time badge. The office refused to accept yellow book or pink card and insisted he apply for residence certificate at Jomtien immigration.

Chinese EV's set to disrupt Thai Automarket
Fruit Trader replied to CharlieH's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
The manufacturers are concerned because a charge socket mechanical interlock device is not functioning correctly. The primary reason for this interlock is likely to be prevention of contact damage when disconnecting under load. Secondary electrical safety devices prevent plugs remaining live after disconnection. It’s possible a substantial and scary arc would be drawn off a plug if carrying DC load before the system shuts off from connection loss. Looking at the CCS2 charging plug design and location of the handle its doubtful there would be much risk of injury to the operator. As usual the media are giving the full shock horror to this story. -
I have recently purchased W10, W11 Pro and W11 Enterprise from Lazada without issue. Most sellers send the activation key only through Lazada messaging, this is all you need to upgrade from home to pro or make a fresh install via USB. Download any version you need from Microsoft using the media creation tool. https://www.lazada.co.th/pc-hub/?q=All-Products&from=wangpu&langFlag=en&pageTypeId=2

First is a termination box labelled TOT which connects the cable from the street (black) to a fibre connection socket. The yellow cable plugs into this socket and on to the ONT.
-
As I am the only one to use ONT in the thread I guess the OP's reply was aimed at my picture post. I made a follow up post to be sure the OP understands a stand alone ONT does not limit his options. It's best to leave modems out of the picture when talking about fibre services to the home.
-
Not limited. You connect your own choice of router to the ONT and use WAN login detail provided by TOT.
-
TOT installations vary between areas. Ask your local office if they can supply an ONT only which makes using your own equipment easier. Example - TOT ONT in our office.

The video makes a good point when you consider the following. Unlike liquid fuel, power delivery for EV charging stations is a lot more complex than simply placing an order. Some locations will have capacity to meet a stations maximum demand where others might need a diversity plan to limit power when all chargers are in use. Diversity calculations happen at all levels of power distribution. Not all EV owners will be charging at home and demand for reliable high output charging facilities will increase. Electric Vehicles in Thailand
Fruit Trader replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
If you can't handle a public forum that includes all walks, take your discussion to a private safe space. The signalling platform will be greatly reduced but at least you won't be suffering us low level simpletons. Attacking peoples education standard because they don't understand something is low but comes as no surprise here. One would think that people who have confidence in their choices along with the education to explain the technology can handle the negatives without personal attacks and compartments. On the other hand, it’s understandable that people will be a little sensitive after parting with large chunks of cash for products that lack a solid track record. PS In the future you might consider using the superior education to write a clear OP. This is a discussion about EVs available or coming to Thailand. This is not a discussion about Chinese cars -
step down transformer for US stereo
Fruit Trader replied to gamb00ler's topic in The Electrical Forum
Update I forgot to mention - There is a chance your receiver contains the dual voltage transformer but has the voltage selector omitted for the US market. An electronics repair shop can check if your transformer is dual voltage but hard linked at 120V.
