  1. Are you planning to move to Iran? Mali? Eritrea? Venezuela? Nuff said, Captain Dumbo.
  2. Says who? You? 0815 - says it all, muppet.
  3. Too lazy and dumb to do some fact checking
  4. Standard procedure and done as per manufacturer instructions. Same everywhere. Cooktop rests on benchtop which is cut out to exact size. Sometimes clamps underneath hold it in place as well. How else would you do it? Install a bracket underneath the cooktop? Never.
  5. I agree. You're statement is unique and seems out of sync with most others' experience. I think you're telling fibs.
  6. Does this place accommodate your man cave, IT station, office and sofabed?
  7. Thailand essentially prohibits or discourages (enormous import duties) any vehicle importation to protect its own industry. That seems plausible for products that are produced entirely or assembled here. However, vehicles that are not made here therefore don't qualify for any tarif protection and should be allowed to be imported at a reasonable customs duty, not at the extortionate rates applied these days. A classic example is the high in demand Suzuku Jimny which is not produced here and not imported officially by Suzuki, leaving only a few select grey imports selling for just under 2mb. That is ridiculous. I don't think there is any similar product manufactured in Thailand benefiting indirectly from such tarif protection. One could buy it in S Africa, Japan, Australia or Malaysia, but the tarifs just don't make it worth the effort.
  8. Myanmar has a history of changing over from the British system to the American/continental European system, so there would be a range of lhd and rhd vehicles in the country, both legal. So I don't think there is any connection in that regard to any car importation regulation of whatever kind.
  9. I think you misinterpreted the original statement/question. In my interpretation the poster meant Thailand as in private businesses, dealerships, private individuals, in the sense that it is made easier, facilitated or encouraged, incurs lower import taxes etc. Those are, of course, government policy decisions. I don't think anyone was equating the word Thailand exclusivelywith the government of Thailand. As to the government and its agencies, of course they wouldn't engage in the importation of used vehicles since they almost certainly get better deals on new cars from the local production.
  10. Love the lights, stuck to the palm trees. Great wiring too. It's all very smart. Everyone's a winner. Please start on the next beach, Jomtien, Dongtan, etc. This idea has got legs.
  11. Negotiable? You always barter at the pig and camel markets
  12. The American's parents should ask the woman to cough up 2mb.
  13. Pathetic and typically Thai. All about money, especially greed, as her family seems well off. The farang should get rid of her and go look for a dowry elsewhere.
  14. When is it too late to start going to church, then? Is there a cut off date for entry? Wouldn't be fair on those that have paid in all their life just to be pipped at the post by queue jumpers.
  15. The sprinkler system had just been checked the week before last. Like the escalator/conveyor walkway at DMK airport.......
  16. .... being threatened, intimidated and sued for bad reviews .....
  17. Just booked 4 week trip to Laos.
  18. The fumes whilst painting the Maxzo 2in 1 product are horrendous. I needed to literally walk away every 5 mins, which makes the painting that more difficult because, as someone pointed out, the paint is fast drying.
  19. Expensier?
  20. You really have to wonder sometimes..... If they say installation is not included, that's most certainly what it means: you get the box, and its contents, the box won't be installed but the stuff in the box, you do it yourself or hire someone, and if that's not possible then this type of deal is not for you. What the heck does your last sentence m,ean? Pay for installation while ordering?? You mean during the ordering process? Like adding on meals, seats, insurance during/in the process of an Air Asia booking? Only one way to find out: go through the process, check it out, and abort at the PAY stage if you're not happy. Now, about getting through the front door ..... Insert your key, turn the door handle and push ......
  21. The updated fabric colour is Envelope Brown, with more - and larger - pockets to accommodate both A4 and A5 envelopes.
  22. More minivan crashes than bus accidents. Minivans go full throttle, and if you hit a downpour on the way into BKK, they hardly reduce the speed. Observed from travelling on board and in a car on the highway. Tailgating, lights flashing, aggressive, and way over the 120km/h speed limit. With a bus you have definite departure time, with a minivan it leaves when it's full, or it leaves half full and goes on a pick-up/collect cruise through Ptya first.
  23. If you're talking about the airport bus, what you're saying is correct, however the actual ticket will NOT have a seat number on it. It's free seating as you board.
  24. There is a fully renovated one for sale in the lower soi blocks, 6 floors only, asking 799k, Thai quota, B1 518/464, saw it somewhere om social media,I don't have any contact details
