  3. Tried to put this on correct thread please move to correct forum General chat which has no listing as such. Good news for us locals and anyone else that liked Centre Point ferry, for many reasons. It's Back, and unbeknown to me has been back a month albeit with limited service. No long queues; 50% discount with yearly membership, (new card available next month) for Falang and Thais alike; return tickets available, (unlike t'other one). 40min trip, closer to Trat and Immigration, with driver and car 220baht return, has new paint so must be safe 555.

  4. Oh darn that's my Prince he said he was coming next week, if i got his gold out of customs.
  5. And still no word of the motorbike he rode, harder to hide than a body IMO are they actually looking for it ? it could hold vital DNA clues.
  6. Maybe becoz he has not been found guilty yet.
  7. Ok so it Alkaline (Ph7? ) anyway that makes more sense as it eats the 'glue' holding the top header tank to the aluminum core, it been ok now for 6yrs and only used locally it's 23yrs old not my main car.
  8. No sane number, I rang the carrier and they can only check back one month (i think) told me not received any SMS from bkb bank. I have no problem with Krungsri bank SMSs. but thanks. looks like i'll have to go and spend time in the bank
  9. Yes it is the acid in the coolant that attacks the joint at the top hose connection plastic 'neck' that's what stuffed up the last rad ( i found out the prob though a google search and that is exactly where it leaked) no prob until i put coolant in it, It doesn't rust the engine much at all, some rust does float to the top, but can be floated right off the top, i have had it boil once when the electric fan stopped working, that brought a lot of rust out when i back flushed it, but no problems or rust since.
  10. You silly billy. I think you will in the future.
  11. At least my missus is aware of them being checked as she askes me too check them, even after showing her EVERY time, she gets the PTP gas station attendant to check the tires. On a side note the cheap plastic/alloy radiator I brought had a sticker on it do not put coolant of ANY kind just water. The sticker translation was like "No put Yar of any kind.
  12. This engine was not shut down as soon as steam appeared IMO but driven a while, have you ever seen your wife check the oil or water?
  13. I would say yes, your pictures only show the top end damage, big ends, and crankshaft damage will be more than likely' and the cylinder liners, piston rings, the cylinder head is cracked between the valve ports, but a second hand one should do from a scrapped car, they normally come with a short warranty, The Technical term for your engine is "Its <deleted>(ked Sir"
  14. My local 7/11 changes them, leave them there a while no probs never been cheated yet.
  15. He hasn't been found guilty yet, a confession under duress means nothing, after what sounds like 20hrs of 'Interrogation.' by the RTP even I would probably admit guilt. This is why the death penalty was abolished in many countries, (Pray to who?.)
  16. I paid 8k for a small 2 wheel, great at first 1hr trips, now in less than a year lucky to get a 15min. ride. its sits in my shed now Chinese crap. I'd rather buy a 50cc scooter.
  17. Well not from where I come from, almost the opposite, Fork You, more likely end up with a punch in the face.
  18. Sorry a bit off topic, but i used to get an SMS from BKB every Monday morning and withdraws over 5k, and when my PEA direct debit was paid, this year not. anybody out there with the same problem ? I do intend to go there soon but there is only one staff member who can deal with this and it takes hours sitting around.
  19. So you don't have mixer taps ?
  20. I would just use a coil (s) of black water pipe.
  21. The OZ embassy and others just use Thai Post EMS, so why can't you? I presume you mean within Thailand ? Kerry to the best of my knowledge only do domestic delivers anyway. EMS has always been reliable for me.
  22. Surely your not thinking of being a tradesman in Thailand, that would only be for Thais, unless you are a certified off shore worker. 141 would do that, renew in your own country if i was you.
