  3. News about the incident was surpressed but emerged on social media sparking a police investigation. Am i reading this correctly ? the fence was electrified from the mains power !! ? hope the owner gets charged with manslaughter if that's the case.

  6. So in two years, this dog has never been noticed, on CTV by the Juristic person, just goes to show the level of security in that building.
  7. Because I had to change my email address, I had a lot of problems logging in to Lazada, and ads that block parts of other sites, so i downloaded BRAVE ad-blocker, using this I can now log in easier to Lazada.
  8. Yes I realize that now I misunderstood the 2013 rule , I should just have waited a couple of more months.

  11. My experience yesterday and my misunderstanding? ; Having got my extension in Aug and knowing I would need a new passport and told at the time, expiring 23 Jan 23, I duly now have the new passport, I also was given information here that they no longer transfer visas/extensions to your new passport and that was stopped in 2013, so I thought I would just do it now. Wrong after gathering all documentation required with wife and witness in tow, I went to Trat immigration, in the hope of a new extension, I was told "we will transfer it to your new passport its the LAW" and come back one month before old passport expires, the old passport has been cancelled but a stamp in it says "Any valid visas in this passport remain valid". Another lesson learnt and another day and expenses wasted.
  12. It should amaze me that the Taxi thought he'd get away it, even though he was easily traceable, but I'm not, lived here too long. What a Plonker ! Well done to the guy who found it, and recording it, then to follow it up with the cops.
  13. Stress can bring out all kinds of 'infections' eczema, scabies. Have you been stressed ? go see a doctor.
  14. Yeh although we try to avoid weekends, imagine how bad it is for us locals if you have to go to Trat immigation and are returning on a Friday or go the hospital in Trat on a Sunday morning by car not an ambulance in a hurry, locals should be allowed to avoid the queues. IMO.
  15. Which one ? how often do you need to go to trat ?
  16. Centrepoint before covid always ran to a time table, it was a lot closer to Trat for those locals coming and going everyday, and the school mini buses, and less queues (most tourists, used the other one) with the cost for me and the car 180b RETURN, now it cost me and the missus near 500 return and more fuel to Trat, and no big deal for tourists on a holiday coming from BKK direction. I don't think anyone will take it over rust was holding them together+mafi control ferries&taxis IMO and Mrs B
  17. Please move to correct forum; The Centre Point ferrys to Koh Chang have been cancelled and will not run again, the 40min trip was cheap and cheerfull, closer to Trat, with membership cards (50% discount) and Return tickets available (valid one month). We are now left with only Sapparot ferry, about twice the price and lazy impolite ones who sell the tickets, two to issue tickets drive 20mtrs 4 to take the ticket, coming back to Koh Chang yesterday we had to queue up out on the road, why? you may ask it was not because of the ferry car park full but the slow issue of tickets, 2 to issue, drive 10 mtrs hand in the ticket 2 more staff, we asked why dont you issue return tickets the reply was "people lose them" I know for a fact they stopped return tickets years ago. pathetic response IMO. Another family run Thai Business.
  18. Not needed but easy to obtain when you have the yellow book and it is very usefull to carry as ID for hotel check in etc, no need to carry passport anywhere.
  19. I have a yellow book and pink card, BUT my missus says that my name is also in the blue book. So you can.
  20. He didn't. Where did you read that he did? The full story says last time he entered Thailand was 2018, so one must presume he arrived at Phuket International airport, with them in his luggage, unless he somehow obtained them after landing in the airport.
  21. And yet many cars driving with no plates at all !
