well you asked many questions but actually there is one question you need to answer first:
10 hours ago, spambot said:previous mix of O, O-A, Tourist and a few Visa exemptions over 12 years
whole of 12 years how come you didnt or couldnt extend your visa, by yourself or using an agency?!
10 hours ago, spambot said:I really am trying to understand where rejection (or warning of rejection) actually occurs in the process, between the four stages 1). Thailand Imm OUT 2). Border Country IN 3). Border Country OUT 4). Thailand Imm IN.
i dont know nowadays but when i went to cambodia border with my multi non-o IO told me he will let me out just for this time because im abusing my non-multi by not making it 1 year. he let me go and come back but write 'this is my last doing this and i cannot do it again' right on my passport page in thai using red color pen. dont tell me he cannot do or else. he did and i can show its photo! and actually i found out that yes he can do that. so rejection starts at the thai IO side. they will not let you go because they know you cannot come back. so they tell you go back and prepare your documents for a new visa because if you go you cannot come back.
10 hours ago, spambot said:I am assuming that there is no situation where you can exit one country's border and be prevented from entering the next border since you would be stuck in no man's land.
there is no such situation for land borders and almost impossible air borders. for land borders they will stop you and dont let you leave the country. simply will tell you to go back and be ready for get a new visa.
if i were you i would extend my visa.. thats all you need to do
good luck

i dont know this will help you or not.
i had non-o marriage. i extended with the same agency. used her for 2 years. First time she asked 27K and the next year 18K
just to be sure or get some other options i contacted thaivisa agency (famous in bkk and well known by this website too). I told them i have everything legit and enough including money and whatever. just lazy to go to IO same as you. They told me 35K (1.5 year ago). i didnt ask too many questions why so expensive or else.
well i left the country, get another non-o and get back. Went to the IO changwattana it took literally 15-20 min to get my extension and i paid 1900 baht for it instead of from 18K to 35K
i know your feeling about IOs and i agree. But trust me its the best way and trust me its so easy. When you use an agency you will feel not ok 100%, trust me. there will be this feeling you know you are doing something illegal (bribing IO) plus you will be always with agency..
please trust me and go by yourself. you did in 2 days, 2 times.. so what?! at least when you go out from the IO you will say.... ohhhh.. i feel gooodd.. trust me

i would ignore the posts
first of all you must respect the country and its rules. rule says you have to have 20K thai baht. thats it. they check or not, they care or not... it says. respect that.
and you did, thank you for that. you need that money in thai baht or same amount where you are coming from or the money you are using. just be careful about your currency there are some currencies thai banks dont exchange

if i were you i would ask myself why i want to enter thailand so this much... i have been deported, i did everything, i tried everything.. ohh but i didnt try to get a proper reason with a visa... you know you are one of the reasons why we normal people are having lot of problems here... thanks
-
well think like this
it obvious you want to stay here as long as you can. so they gave you the opportunity. use it lol

its not destroying something.. you should see the old nonthaburi immigration its 1km from my home and wow you should see what they did to the building

I like living on condo resorts, and airbnb is a LOT cheaper for longer stays, plus you get much more. For example, you can find a 2 bedroom condo/penthouse with a jacuzzi overlooking the ocean for a month, about what you'd pay for 1 week in a hotel and have more freedoms and (most importantly) space. I once had a 200sq meter penthouse on the 32nd floor overlooking the ocean in Jomtien for 40K/m. You can find smaller new condos on resorts with massive pools and slides etc for about 10-15K/m. I just find that you simply can't find that quality of living in any hotel. I go through airbnb instead of something like a facebook marketplace for anything less than a year because the large property management companies usually only offer long term stays.
thanks for the long explanation and i mean it because i didnt know
but it seems... you have all but no TM30... well... and i heard many other serious things... so again i wouldnt
its already easy and cheap to find a place in thailand to stay

this is the 3rd or 4th post about airbnb being not ok with rooms.. i think should avoid them.
i never used it and dont know the differences between airbnb rooms and just go and check in an hotel. is it like cheaper? all these headaches are for 200-300 baht?

not related to your question but i was wondering if they have the ability and skill of english level that can notice multiple errors and so on sounds like stupid to me they are asking translation. They should know what a certificate looks like... I think this is again money chain thing. they just want the translation because they want translation offices get money.
if its not personal or private may i ask what kind of errors they noticed? grammar or sentences errors? Incorrect authority addressing error? number errors? etc.
thanks and good luck if you need another translater i have a number and they are really good and their work confirmed via MFA too just send me a message, not sure about the price though.

few things;
do you have re-entry visa? if so when you entered to thailand 90 days starts again you dont need to worry about 90 days.
- normally if you didnt change your visa you dont need to report TM30. But obviously you are changing your address so you need to report TM30. totally up to the IO officer, they might want to see your old TM30 so take it with you.
- if you changed your visa, what happened to me (i used agency and i did want to do everything legal as you, so i left the country and get a visa and came back) IO asked me to see the old paper work of my old visa when i was extending. I told them i dont have non-o anymore but have non-b why they want to see my old paper work. Changwattana IO answered me because they have to connect my old visa to this one. I was so so lucky i had some copy of old paper work with me, they accepted it. So be ready.
if i were you i would just go there with my old TM30 and 90 days (just in case) copy of my passport, visa and paper work of the house (rental contract or girlfriend owner), house owner ID and house book. tell them i would like to do TM30. thats all. Not sure about 90 days report because dont know you need to extend it or not. I would found out that there too.
good luck

they will not stamp and make problem only if you have 1 page left. you have 2
although @BritTim mentioned very important detail. IO may ask some questions like why you didnt get a new passport because you are about to out of pages or whats your plan in thailand because you dont have enough pages to go out and come back or extend your visa. I think the visa you will enter is important. simply 2 pages are not enough for anything but only for tourist visa.

this video is like 3-4 years old.

So what do you think would happen to you if you would have to live from 10k per month?
Would you die?
How are millions of Thai people able to live with that kind of money?
Well they are eating (mostly) unhealthy & dirty street food and most of them getting some diseases. Plus we are talking about farangs here.

Actually, it is possible if you have to.
Many of us are just used to living with a lot more than we really need.
medically and biologically impossible
and i agree we live lot more than we need.

i think you retired or not, working or not you need min 50-60K baht to live normally in thailand. A medium thai person salary is between 30-60K
if we add some farang luxury taste in to this salary i think 50-60K is good enough. this money includes normal night life too, and mostly good food. We need to remember that everything is money in thailand. and things are getting real expensive real quick these days. the local restaurant i usually eat raised the prices significantly. shops are the same. no need to mention fuel/gas.
if you want to have a luxury life.. you need min 100K and more.
how you spend your money is totally up to your personality, your interests and etc. so no need to argue about these things. its also related how much you get. if you have the money you can replace your dirty sofa every 2-3 years, if not you cannot simple as that. thats where the money goes. details like this.
i know many thai people who just entered work life are getting 12-18K dont know how they survive, big respect to them.
when i watch those stupid youtube videos such as how to survive in thailand or what i spend in 1 day i really laugh. They are only for show. there is no way a farang will survive eating chicken on rice 3 times a day every month..

There is no 24 hours to leave if you go to immigration on the termination date. You would have to leave before midnight to avoid a overstay.
Immigration will do the cancelation a few days before the termination date and the will postdate the cancelation to the day on the letter.
Ohh then it changed since i did. Good to know it. +1 to immigration. In my time it was 24 hours and the same day..
-
you have extension because of your work..
you need a termination letter from the work and take it to the immigration. the date on the termination letter is your last day staying in thailand. then they will give you 24 hours to leave the country. In some cases you can pay 1900 and make it another 7 days, not sure if still can.
you cannot change your visa in the country to TR type. you need to leave and come back.

so you are working in thailand for a company which is not thai. and they want you to work in thailand basically online because you moved here and living here with a thai wife (well you didnt mention but i think thats what it is).
i was wondering if this company has any customers here in thailand because it sounds like you are doing some kind of international marketing or service without hot contact (face to face) with customers. is this an insurance company?
Does this company have any branch in thailand or thinking opening one? because at this point not officially but you are the branch here.
if you have a contract with this company and working here yes, you need a workpermit. doesnt matter its an international or online company. I dont think you need to pay tax plus your visa is nothing about work but marriage which is your reason of staying in thailand. tbh i dont think you can get a workpermit with these conditions because your company has nothing with thailand.
i strongly suggest you to contact to the labor office with someone who can speak good english and knows your job and working details really good so can explain every detail. thats the only way you can find the real answer.

I am staying in Thailand for tourism purposes. (My permanent stay is in germany)
doesnt sound like that tbh.

I cameback in July 2022, stayed ONE MONTH and went back home.
I cameback In September 2022, stayed ONE month and extended my tourist visa for another month (SO now I am basically staying 2 months this time).
you are staying in thailand almost every 2 months for a month. this seems little bit more than tourism. I think it is time for you to decide thailand or germany. tourism means you go to some place in your vacation for a couple of weeks, not spending half of the year in the same place. Also seems you are trying to stay longer '' (SO now I am basically staying 2 months this time).''
On 11/3/2022 at 4:46 PM, adrianc said:In 10 days my visa will expire and I don't want to go back to Europe, I'd rather stay here.
and here it is.. proof of my words.
On 11/3/2022 at 4:46 PM, adrianc said:Like I said, I am only doing tourism activity .
and the bomb... lol you are not doing tourism activity, you are just trying to stay in thailand as best and as long as you can.
so here are the suggestions for not having problems in the future:
thai cooking classes
martial art classes (i suggest muay thai)
find a job
find a wife (if you are ready)
re-educate yourself with ED visa
non-o retirement visa if you are over 50 and you can use re-entry to go back to germany and come back to thailand.
good luck
