How does it work with the police clearance?
I come from the Netherlands and already live 5 years in Thailand.
Do i also have to get a statement from the police in Thailand before i leave Thailand and go to the Philippines?
Maybe, In my case I gave them one from the US even though I had been in Thailand for a full year. You will need to get one in the Philippines even though the rules state that you would have to be there for over 30 days. The reason is that the total processing time is more than 30 days. The PRA will take care of doing it for your.

Work for ex military from Canada ?
If you are saying that you were not actually in the military then no. If you are over 50 and have a pension of $1500.00 the deposit would be $10,000 or $20,000 with no pension. 50K 35-49 years old.
-
Please note the deposit is $1500.00 for ex military and $10,000.00 for not ex military, not both.

I have just moved to the Philippines and I am in the process of applying for an SRRV (Special Resident Retirement Visa). There are multiple versions of this visa but the one that I am applying for is the Courtesy Expanded. This is the cheapest one and applies to someone who has been in the Military that has any kind of agreement with the Philippines which in my case is the USA. I have to be retired but not from the military and all I need to show is that I had an honorable discharge. For this lifetime visa, the costs are:
$1400.00 Processing
$1500.00 Deposit in the Bank (kind of like the Thai 400K/800K (retired but no military, the deposit would be $10,000.00 and it can be used for investment.)
$10.00 Annual fee (no military $360)
$100.00 Miscellaneous
A monthly retirement of at least $1000.00 with proof such as a Social Security statement
A medical exam is required but they actually come to you.
An NBI/police check is required but they also come to you but exempted if over 70 years old.
I am applying in Angeles City at the satellite office of the PRA (Philippine Retirement Authority). They are friendly and very helpful and of course they speak English. They walk you through the whole process. One of the confusing things to me had been the details of how the deposit was to be made but they take care of that too. The PRA will give you a letter to take to a bank down the street (in Angeles, it is the Bank of Commerce). The bank will open a USD account and give you the required SWIFT code and account number. I also had the bank open a Philippine Peso account with a Debit card. All with no hassle at all. Currently I am in a brief waiting period while I wait for Transferwise to SWIFT the $1500.00 to the local bank.
One nice, and often overlooked, benefit is that I am allowed to apply for the Philippine Nation Health system. There is NO reporting other than paying the annual fee.
There are "Marketeers" around the country that can do this, some of which will as for a small fee. If you are in Manila or near one of the satellite offices, just go there.
Baguio, Clark (Angeles), Cebu and Davao.

Also possible that they are stuck in customs which seems to be hit and miss.

For this purpose, what is considered a "tourist visa", is a non-O considered as such?

He is absolutely correct. Anything over the boiling point will kill the virus. I just don't know if the water guns will work with water that hot.

I tried to use this a couple of weeks ago, 2 days before 90 day was due, no luck. Went to Immigration, he told me that it will only work if you do it a t least a week before the due date.
so not sure how far in advance you doing it, but I will not be able to confirm if he is right until next time.I have suggested this before. There is an app "90 days report" available. It is super easy to use, you simply enter your last report date. It will then tell you all the date ranges for in person, mail and online. The app saves that date for future reference.

To answer the last 3 replies:
1. Specifically, I want to send an inexperienced and nervous flyer from Thailand to the Philippines. She might not be able to navigate this situation.
2. Yes and possibly having to go through immigration and checkin again and redo immigration. Flight search like skyscanner and kayak don't give a full explanation.
3. I am familiar with AirAsia fly through. However, as I explained in my original post, AirAsia is not one company and going from Thai AirAsia to Philippines AirAsia will require two tickets. Both international.
I was trying to find out if the parent AirAsia had somehow made the process easier. In most of the flights that I have seen, the layover time is less than 2 hours. Going through immigration (twice) and maybe collecting luggage and then checking in again and going through security might be difficult, especially with an inexperienced flyer.

Does anyone have any experience with transferring between the various AirAsia companies? In my case it would be Thai AirAsia to Philippines AirAsia. Flight searches usually say these transfers are "self transfers".
In either Hong Kong, Macao or Singapore, for someone with carry on only, what does it actually mean.
AirAsia has no email, and the phone center cannot give good answers.

A CMRA is not a physical address, even if it looks like one to the casual observer. SDFCU specifically, and as far as I know uniquely, welcomes expat accounts. I can't find any information on USAA's policy on expats.
I understand that but some of them appear to be with only discernible trait being a suite number. I don't know for sure but there must be tens of thousands of government workers and ex military scattered around the world.

First of all, gaining muscle mass is not the only reason for testosterone therapy. I used gel in the past but it became a bother to use daily and having to be careful that no one touches the area. I have been on capsule injections for a while now. They cost me about 8000 baht every 3 months which is approximately what you would pay for gel. My results have been pretty good.
-
One of the reasons that I long ago quit USAA bank. You would think that since they deal with many people overseas the address would not be an issue. I would just go ahead and use your Thai address. I had no issues using my Thai address with SDFCU. I thought that most CMRAs gave physical addresses.

If your total income exceeds $25,000, you will have to pay taxes on a percentage of social security. Example: if your income, including ssa, is between 25,000 and 35,000, you would pay the the tax rate on 50% of your Social Security income. So in your case, you would pay the tax rate, which would be very small for your income, on $5,500.

You can get a Thai law firm to stamp and sign them for a fee. May or may not be accepted but looks good

Anything smaller then 10 goes into a jar. After that it goes into a bag to be given to the neediest beggar I see. One time I gave what was about a tbousand baht. Beggar nearly had a heart attack.

With XP and Windows 7 you could just go to Ms.config and choose the Startup programs...With Windows 10 you can't,
It was sort of replaced by Task Manager under the Startup tab.
As others have said, the single biggest thing that can done is to replace an HDD with an SSD.
I just got a new inexpensive HP and surprisingly there was very little bloatware. I used Decrapifier and I think all I removed was Office 365, games and MacAfee.
