iCon Group CEO tearfully vows to compensate investors
Bday Prang replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Sickening to watch theses scammers on Tv . Why are they repeatedly referred to as "Boss Paul", "Boss this" And "Boss That" They should be using their real names to fully identify and shame them. Presumably as they have plenty of money ( albeit ill-gotten) they will be granted the usual "privileges" reserved for the wealthy in situations like this, and maybe the media are worried about being accused of defaming them. Whilst one might feel sorry for those who have been scammed, remember it was only their inherent sense of greed and general stupidity that lead them to trust these scum Thailand , land of scammers, and populated by people who appear to be queuing up to be scammed, its almost like a badge of honour for them to demonstrate their gullibility on national TV Furthermore due to the nature of "multi level marketing" those who were scammed were highly likely to have scammed others further down the line, normally starting with friends and family -
No point in worrying about the finer details like legalities, What are you going to do , launch an appeal campaign ? Just remember where you are, accept it for what it is and move on. there is no shortage of alternatives

indeed they normally end up on the roof methed out of their head, and armed with the machete, with which they have killed their kids

Phuket Tourism Worries Mount Over Climate Change Impact
Bday Prang replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Well said , its pretty clear what's going to happen, us plebs will be sent back in time to the middle ages, Maybe that's why they are encouraging the migration of muslims. They will feel right at home in that time period, I'll trust you if you trust me, it wont be the climate that drives us to extinction, it will be the measures put in place by the powers that be that will destroy economies and lead to famine I reckon we have maybe a hundred years left, less if we suffer another world war The only answer is free weed for all, probably won't help the problem but it will make things a damn sight more bearable -
Phuket Tourism Worries Mount Over Climate Change Impact

I wouldn't be to inclined to relax at all. Never underestimate what idiots like politicians and the unelected but equally stupid members of organisations like the WEF are capable of. Its they who are the biggest cause for concern in my opinion, along with the likes of doom goblin Thunberg who motivate the sheeple to follow them as well as literally scaring the krap out of easily influenced naive kids -
Nah , knowledge is power in my book. and denying ones self the ability to understand what is being said puts one at a huge disadvantage. Nobody needs to fool themselves that they are perfect fluent speakers on a par with the natives. that is never going to happen but it is not that difficult to advance a bit further than sawasdee khrap The tones can be confusing for us , probably just as confusing for a Thai when the stuttering foreigner keeps repeating just one word and his tone changes in line with his frustration. Its not hard to build a vocabulary with the tones learnt parrot fashion, and adding a few more words can help bring a bit of context into what one is trying to say every little helps I never take much notice of what Ex pats say , and certainly would not let them influence any decisions I make. In my opinion that guy gave you very bad advice The Thais do indeed talk a lot of khrapp to each other , its actually amazing that they can talk so much but say so little , but they are not that much different to any other nation. They may well talk about us, why wouldn't they, but they are a lot less likely to do so if they think we understand what they are saying , a few words in Thai to them quickly stops any of that, The one overwhelming reason to learn Thai for all expats is to take away a bit of control from the missis, and its always handy to know what the family is up to. It also builds ones self confidence and help one function in society as a man again, as opposed to an overgrown illiterate retarded mummys boy, with a wife who has assumed the role of carer For me its a no brainer and I struggle to understand those who simply refuse to try, there may be tones but the grammar is much simpler than english no need to memorise all those irregular verb conjugations not to mention all the obscure tenses that exist in english

its only 200km for gods sake , why not be adventurous and engage the services of a tuk tuk ? apologies I've no idea what the trendy slang is for that amongst the annoying telesales / MLM community No need to negotiate a price beforehand either, let him keep you guessing for the entire journey, adding to the fun

I don't think it actually is misogynistic to be honest , the word means a hatred of women. The human race has developed over 1000's of years and throughout that time the roles of men and women have also evolved and developed with pretty clear lines being established regarding the roles each should play in society The roles were not developed or influenced by any particular hatred of women (muslims aside) but each gender naturally assumed roles that they were best designed for. an example being the males superior upper body strength and inherent aggression made him the natural defender of the family unit. Whilst the woman's maternal instinct and general lack of aggression made her more suitable for raising children and general domestic duties This natural assignment of gender specific roles served us well for millenia Now in these "enlightened" times there are some misguided souls who think that these roles were unfairly decided by men, they were not , it was all decided by nature. Their attempts to change things for reasons of "diversity" or in the name of any other such man made concepts of "inclusion" or any other rubbish are doomed to disaster, Oh sure they can try and force it down peoples throats by passing laws and screaming abuse at those who refuse to accept it but at the end of the day if it is contrary to nature it will never be sustainable Women in the kitchen, misogynistic? Nah , merely an acceptance of the natural order of things And as if we need another example of how the world is going mad check this out , simply astonishing, yet stomach churning at the same time , the lengths some are prepared to go to deviate from nature is truly amazing https://kiisfm.iheart.com/content/2022-10-13-trans-women-are-having-prosthetic-babies-to-mimic-childbirth/ https://br.ifunny.co/picture/the-butt-baby-a-prosthetic-baby-that-can-be-inserted-YFnDPVgKA

They always start their posts with "Hi guys" or similar. And I've never understood the "bangers" thing, it not even an abbreviation for gods sake. Is this the product of minor public schools, Or evidence of a different emerging class of visitor. I'm thinking retired estate agents, or retired assistant managers from the smaller budget supermarkets, Or even more worryingly one of those highly annoying telephone sales types Nice to know his "good lady" is meeting him , I knew she'd wait for him lol

I might give it a try though , if only to see for myself if the faeces of the affluent really don't smell, unlike like those of us normal people

Way back then, when men were men. and not the effeminate snowflakes that we are breeding these days in the so called developed world, and australia too, evidently With world war3 undeniably getting closer every day, people need to toughen up significantly, -
I find the story rather strange, There is no mention of whether he could swim or not, If he couldn't , and many can't here, then his death is hardly unexpected, drunk or not , playing in 4 metre deep water is hardly a risk free activity for a non swimmer, I'm genuinely surprised this didn't happen years ago if it a regular pastime of his. I can only imagine that he was using some sort of buoyancy aid like a gallon plastic oil container or similar which he lost hold of and it floated out of his reach On the other hand if he could swim , even if drunk , I'm sure he could have swum to the bank, its hardly the Amazon and it wasn't flooding? Maybe it was the water faries

It is you who needs to learn a little bit about Islam, Once you realise why they consider people like you to be nothing better than useful idiots you will be qualified to comment further. You seem strangely fixated on age georgina , Your ridiculous posts actually do help you to appear younger than many on here, One could be forgiven for thinking they were born from the mind of an angst ridden teenage girl. Do you assume that persona on other websites by any chance? -

Considering your attitude, I probably have considerably longer left than you. I still maintain that wokies like you are sad humourless invertebrates So prove me wrong, tell us all a joke, do you even know any? I very much doubt it -

Show me where I said I was in my seventies, I have never said that as I am not. I have a long way to go "Atrocious Racism" how would you know? you have clearly never read the book, but, as usual that is unimportant as far as the woke are concerned, Expressing your faux outrage is all that matters to your sort -

lol the first book we were introduced to at Primary school in the uk ( around 5 years old) would have the wokies clutching at their pearls. It was called "Little Black Sambo" to a 5 year old it was a wonderful book with pictures that gave us a little insight into a way of life in far off land as it described the adventures of a fictional African boy of a similar age to ourselves There was nothing overtly racist about it, Mainly stories about getting chased by lions etc But once the "woke" got involved , this work of the devil himself had to be banned, most of them never even read it -

That is common in the UK too Some old school joiners might still order timber by the "standard" which I think is based on cubic yards. It can get confusing sometimes -

Off course it has to work both ways, those who give it in the name of humour, have to be prepared to take it in the same vein. One thing that applies to british humour is that a lot of it is self deprecating, we may well laugh at others, who doesn't? but we are more than capable and quite prepared to laugh at ourselves, a characteristic not shared by many other nationalities Just to clarify, we were around 7 years old at the time we used the words spaz and spaz-chariot as joking insults amongst ourselves "stop acting like a spaz" or " your dads new car looks like a spaz=chariot" Even at that tender age we understood not to go screaming it in the faces of the poor unfortunates. Anybody wishing to take offence over what me and my pre teen mates got up to half a century ago can of course feel free to do so , but I would have thought their time would be better spent getting a life and developing a sense of humour I think in any comedy situation there will be somebody who can be described as the subject. ie the butt of the joke, but as far as the woke are concerned they have now identified a victim to "support" and of course an "aggressor" who must be destroyed or cancelled. Unless we are very careful the very human "sense of humour" will soon be outlawed by the humourless lefties, the future is bleak
