  1. That's the only good thing he ever did
  2. He's a national treasure, just like Diane Abbot in the UK
  3. I wouldn't be surprised if his parliamentary seat actually doubled as a commode , that would explain why he wants it. No need to wake him up to change his pampers
  4. Many on here, for some reason seem to strongly object "in principal" to a military based government. Yet it is the non military "elected" governments that have been responsible for the increasingly onerous immigration regulations that we have to abide by.. As expats that should be our only concern, its all about taking care of oneself . that's how it works in Thailand , the woke political ideologies that some westerners carry with them is nothing more than a liability , worthless emotional baggage, that needs to be discarded. "Expats supporting democracy in Thailand" is just as ridiculous as " Gays supporting Gaza" and nothing more than vacuous virtue signalling by people who really have no idea what is best for themselves or indeed Thailand The confused emoji this post has received proves my point
  5. This reminds me of a bunch of geriatric rock stars reforming in the twilight years of their lives an attempt to raise a bit of cash whilst desperately attempting to appear relevant once more, despite most of their fan base having passed away. and little interest from the anybody else. I doubt he or any of his prospective political pals are short of cash , He should direct his efforts to the golf course, take up beekeeping, or perhaps occupy himself by posting rubbish on this forum like any other self respecting geriatric whinger
  6. There are plenty of very poor people, and not so poor people around the world who also think democracy is overrated. What does the word actually mean in real terms ? Seems to me it just means that one has the opportunity to vote once every 4 years . Not really much use in real terms, when , as in Thailand the results of such voting can simply be disregarded Or in the UK for example where one would cast ones democratic vote based on the declared manifestos of the various parties' manifestos that are quickly disregarded by which ever party is successful. Who then proceed to do whatever they want for their term in power. There is no democracy anywhere in my opinion, merely the illusion of it and it is certainly nothing to do with increasing the wealth of the poor , that would be the equally misrepresented illusion of socialism People are eventually getting wise to this now , hence the typically very low voter turn out in the UK which enables the likes of Starmer to claim a landslide victory despite only around 30% of the population actually voting This disinterest means the term democracy , in practice , is pretty much meaningless
  7. Certainly looks like a jovial easy-going sort of a bloke, I wouldn't pay to much attention to all these malicious rumours about him.
  8. Because its a fact that as one ages ones mental and physical capacity is reduced. Classing geriatrics as unfit for certain occupations or professions is not bigotry , its common sense. Just take a look at Mr Prawit, The guy can hardly walk, seems to communicate in grunts ( when he is not asleep at his post) , and is obviously unfit for the position he holds, all due to his age. Nothing bigoted about that it is just common sense. There are no 70 year olds representing their countries in the Olympics , Would that be due to bigotry or is it just common sense ?
  9. So great concern for the potentially tarnished image of Pattaya, but little concern for a very vulnerable , homeless woman who obviously has serious issues. Apparently some passers by offered her money , but what did the "local reporters" do other than stand and stare whilst taking photos of her on their mobile phones? What image do the authorities think Pattaya has globally ? and more importantly, how have they actually arrived at that conclusion?
  10. She was dosed up with a veritable smorgasbord of drugs courtesy of the hospital (and big pharma) yet cannabis gets the blame again Later in the article it states that a hot shower will provide relief but no mention of the hospital following that suggestion ! This was not a news report , just the usual propaganda
  11. Any articles from the daily mail should be banned from this forum , along with those who provide links to that rubbish as they are basically just trolling
  12. The guy is obviously on his last legs But the whole system seems to be based on a mafia like hierarchy , he is still well connected and as such untouchable, he's going nowhere until he is good and ready
  13. I didn't know either, seem to be a rather annoying, developing trend. People posting acronyms , that I'm sure they have just made up. Why can't they just type in real English instead of this adolescent text type language ?
  14. So behave in a cruel and mean manner during rehearsals and you will be investigated immediately . Indulge in disgusting perverted behaviour on line ... no problem until it goes public. no surprise really
  15. it didn't actually lose its reputation, rather its reputation evolved to more accurately reflect its "values"
  16. I think her finger has poked through the toilet paper ....again
  17. as this latest "trend " clearly demonstrates. I can pretty much guarantee that the followers of such trends exclusively inhabit council estates and trailer parks and generally restrict their flying to budget / charter short haul flights. Imagine getting stuck behind a group of them flying together https://www.msn.com/en-gb/lifestyle/style/viral-airport-tray-aesthetic-trend-is-hitting-security-lines-here-s-what-tsa-thinks-of-it/ar-AA1qFn5k?ocid=BingNewsSerp
  18. Well to be honest this bit of mischief is really the least of our worries, look at the latest moronic trend emerging https://www.msn.com/en-gb/lifestyle/style/viral-airport-tray-aesthetic-trend-is-hitting-security-lines-here-s-what-tsa-thinks-of-it/ar-AA1qFn5k?ocid=BingNewsSerp
  19. I don't think Hamas are big on following rules unless its sharia law But fair play , That's the spirit,
  20. But imagine a whole battalion of them scary indeed , be buggered if I was hanging around
  21. Nah, no sensible human being would consider going to Palestine to promote homosexual activity. No sensible grown adult gets so upset about name calling that was not even directed at them personally. You called me, personally "sick in the head" , "arrogant " and suggested "I should grow up" I am not crying about it in fact keep the insults coming I find it rather entertaining , and after all , sticks and stones and all that........ has saved me from trauma since I was about 5 years old
  22. So only in the bedroom then ? how boring, lights out too I reckon Presumably you stick to the missionary position ?
  23. Wait till Hamas demonstrate a few of their traditional "homophobic slurs" you will really be upset
  24. Just because something is an uncomfortable truth for you does not make it a "deflection" I think I have raised a perfectly valid point. What sort of reception would you expect is instore for these "activists" You do realise that Hamas are probably the most homo adverse organisations in the world. Do you think that after few sessions with a diversity councillor they will change their views ? Well i have news for you, they will be sent home in body bags shredded along with their stupid rainbow flag, Even those seen crying in the corner at having been called a nasty name will not be spared. It is generally not considered acceptable for people to interfere in the affairs of , or to try to impose their views and values on another country, But those who are determined to try will certainly need to demonstrate a bit more backbone than you. Things can get a bit scary in the real world , I doubt Hamas are particularly concerned
