  6. Good guys in ... bad guys out .... Who in their right minds and civil conscience would do, want, condone, hide, excuse, or enable illegal and or expired visa holders (in any country) other than for humanitarian or political refugee reasons, to reside around them in their community?

  8. Wire-brush away any loose rust. You can use a soda blaster or dry-ice blasting to do this too if a large area or the complete underside of the car. Wire brush surface powder rust to disturb and remove the bulk of the powder (you do't have to remove ever tiny bit of rust dust as this will convert to an inert form of iron and cannot rust again). The point here is that with your following with metal primer, then flexible finish coat this converted material is sealed in and so you are creating a series of anti-rust layers as you add coatings. Paint thoroughly with this 2 action rust converter (this 2 step converter acts as a primer too and does not require washing off with water as the old type of rust converters used to require.). Then for sure-fire protection use a to quality spray auto-primer with quality auto anti-rust primer in it. Then apply final coat/s of flexible finish coat (plenty of these on the market). All these can be bought in pressure cans, or in bulk and applied with a compressor and spray gun. If in doubt about products available in LOS contact a well respected auto body/paint shop (not the local fly-by-night shop but a really good high end shop) and ask for their recommendations on products. If you can track down a company that supplies auto paint to the trade then this is the place to go to for all your needs. I haven't ever done such work here, so I can't quote chapter and verse on particular products (a few brands of rust converters are easily gotten, even here) but I've done a few older Benz's in Australia when restoring and this process if followed and if you pay attention to all areas of the work process will perform perfectly for the rest of the life of the car.

  19. Quiche is delicious in our hot climate served at room temp with a delicious salad. I/we make variations regularly, We're getting a bit of a reputation with our friends for our quiches too ???? If you've got an oven make them. They are one of the easiest recipes known to man. Plenty of recipes available online. All you need is a quiche baking dish. A largish mixing bowl (if you make the pastry by hand, or an electric mixer if you have one that makes dough well. Its a simple basic pie pastry. Eggs Cream Cheese as an additive e.g mild cheddar, change up the flavour and texture with mixed cheeses e.g. Parmesan and Pecorino together is very nice and subtle flavour - my favourite if we decide to use cheese. and whatever additions to the eggs you want to add e.g bacon or Speck, or just cheaper sliced ham for a traditional styled Loraine recipe. Or variations with asparagus, zucchini, sliced tomato, spinach, kale, or chard, even sliced olives are nice if soaked so as to be rinsed free of the brine they come in.

  22. Sheryl as a first stop, and BNH call to check out availability for an initial consult. I'm in Phuket but not practicing now otherwise I could perhaps help. I would advise not to procrastinate at all and seek a consult as soon as can be arranged ... ... Even if your wife changes to another therapist after only 1 consult at least she'll be sitting with a therapist and getting initial care and some relief. If you are at all concerned for her safety then take her to BNH as soon as possible. I also recommend BNH they are a great institution. The fee is irrelevant where your wife's wellbeing is concerned, what is imperative is that you take caring and nurturing action without delay. I would advise watching carefully, monitor her state of mind, take her to places she likes and are calming, happy, and safe, maybe don't let her drive AND NOT ride a bike, if there are dangerous medications about put them in a safe place. If you have friends of family that aggravate or upset her ask them to stay away for a time. If you have any weapons in the home remove them, if your wife drinks then talk to her and explain that booze makes sadness much worse, and contract with her that the two of you will make sure she doesn't drink much. Let her know you don't judge her or think she is wrong in any way, and that she can talk to you at any time and doesn't need to lock her feelings away to herself. Its really important to let her know you see her as ok, that she is ok, and that her feelings matter and are all valid. Tell her 'directly' that you care, that you love her, and together we will move through this sadness. All the best mate.
