wanted to buy a wall mount for the tv.

Do anyone know someone who can accomplish

this task for me. I need a wallmount and someone

who knows what they are doing.

If so, please inform me of price of wallmount and

did you try the main office in samsung ?

I done a search ( samsung ) on my model to have a pdf user instruction , on it it show wall mount size and instalation ..

Do you get your car from the terminal or do you go to their office/parking in a van and drive your car from there ?

What about returning the car ?

I try to find out the time it will/might take from exiting customs to leaving with the car.

Is it easy or do you have to wait long time for the van to bring you to/from the terminal and how far is it ?

I want to rent a car to go to KowYai ,i ask a Thai friend to ring for me three of the company advertise in Bangkok post , he own a car himself.

They ask to put a visa deposit of 100000 ( one hundred thousand baht ) for warranty !

Perhaps if you just a landing it is more easy! Did not find it straight forward ! I walk away from the deal !

You mean you had a reservation with Avis or another company and your car was not available at the airport ?

I am trying to find out if the 3 big rent a car companies at at SUV airport do have their own mini vans to bring customers from the terminal to their offices where the cars are parked like it is in most other countries? or do you have to find your own way by AOT public bus to the tranportation center ?

Thanks. I appreciate that. I already sent an e-mail to true but they pointed me to a page about personal tv (add-on service) that did not at all answer my questions. It would be hard to imagine that nobody in thailand was ever able to get a VCR to work with ubc...

Let's hope the 20,000 hd recorder does not sit here in vain on the shelf

Computer hangs all the time, and looked at the CPU usage, and when the system is idle ( or trying to use it ), there is a item called "spoolsv.exe" chewing 99% of CPU capacity.

Its strange cause the normal spoolsv.exe takes 2000kb of memory, but this one is 7000kb, and is a known bug of some sort. I could eb wrong but it pretty much started at the same time I installed that cute screensaver which was on TV, recently in a thread, the one with the time bars going across the screen.

When you delete the file from the process, it comes back again in a few minutes, reducing your computer to a crawl. After several deletions, it stays away, but thenn u cant print.

Our IT has looked at it, dont know the solution, if anyone has any tips other than me re-installing windows, would appreciate it

i saw a Apacer 2 gig in pantip .. top shop, i think IT fever , was around 900 baht , did not need one , but it look very cheap ! i bought a kingston 2 gig for 1800 baht few month go , and still have an Apacer , no problem with any of them

The GF is going to Seoul at the end of the month on a university education trip. I've been looking at the temperatures there.... and she is gonna freeze her a$$ off. (not a bad thing really when I think about it.. but anyway) 3 C in the daytime, and below freezing at night. One of the recreation activities during her stay is a skiing trip. She is going to need some warm clothes.

Can anyone recommend places in Bangkok to get a warm coat, gloves, etc, and possibly some warm / waterproof type of skiing pants? I'm envisoning her falling down a lot on her first attempt at skiing!

My sister at home in Canada has a relly cool Columbia skiing set- complete with a "Made in Thailand" label. Anyone know where the sweatshop / factory is?

Hi.......I just arrived in Thailand after spending time in China. I went to my bank, SCB, and exchanged 29400 RMB (China currency) to Thai baht and they charged me 15124 baht (about US$398) to make the exchange. I could not believe it. Is this pure theft? It seems that way to me.

RMB is not a currency which trades without restrictions. in such cases losses of 10-15 or even 20% are quite normal.

I take US dollar when i go to china , the baht to the yuan is :

Yesterday I was going to meet a friend in Silom central , my battery’s phone pack on me when I arrive, and did not have possibility to know where he was in the complex .

I ask few shops if they have a charger for me to be able to make the call but was not successful.

A shoes shop for lady next of Watson help me, the staffs very nicely look all around to find one, and one other told me if they can not find one I will be able to put my sim card in his phone.

They did find one and I was able to contact my friend , I was very grateful for that and left a nice tip for cookies afternoon for them !

i use to have a inkjets epson , the problem i found is neary everytime i want to use it ( not so often ) i have to clean the head and i was using a large amount of time , plus cost of ink !

after 1 year i went to buy a laser ! fast reliable and here when i need too !

but only doing normal office work with it !

one thing to remember is the echange rates you getting for your baht !

my visa ( australian ) start to charge me 2.80 % fees for purchase and withdraw , but the exchange rates is the same as TT

my amex charge me only 1.25 dollar for withdraw , but the exchange rates is lower .

what i find the cheaper for me is to get AU dollars send to my Thailand bank account every few weeks

I went to the Old Siam Plaza this morning and found the Amorn Service Centre which fixed and tested the dvd player. It was ready by 3 p.m.

I'm reliably informed that if this service centre can't fix it, it cannot be fixed in Thailand. A great place for electronic repairs with modern workshops, very reasonable prices and friendly staff.

theres a lovely newish place up near the rama 9 bridge. Swana. boutiquey, lovely rooms, and away from KSR. not sure of price, but its a nice place with a cocktail bar on the top floor (well, it DID have - not sure if it still does).
