  1. Mytello has been recommended in some of the other threads and can be ran from a computer or with a phone app.
  2. He posted a revised figure in a somewhat confusing post just a short while later.
  3. What is your final destination? What class of travel do you intend to use? Where are you located in Thailand? Anything more about your circumstances and plans while there will get you more focussed replies.
  4. Where are trying to call? When I select the UK from Thailand it indicates I can use Apple or Android apps or a desktop (computer).
  5. Of course something has changed and it's been discussed numerous times across several threads. I posted this earlier but will repeat again. Wise recently changed and transfers to Bangkok Bank now all appear as International Transfers and will arrive shortly after 2:00pm on a working day. This will be the same working day if initiated early enough (I think before something like 09:30 or 10:00) or the next day if after that. If that service does not support your needs then don't use it.
  6. He/she was told this 6 months ago so surely can't still be the same problem? https://aseannow.com/topic/1347041-minibus-from-mochit-bus-terminal/#comment-19473333
  7. Still no mention of reason for transfer being selected, but as per various other posts that is now the standard for all BBL transfers whereas previously instant transfers were possible. It's not Wise withholding anything for any reason other than that is how the current transfer process works.
  8. I guess it's because the SF Express company which is mentioned upthread as having taken over Kerry originated in mainland China, a communist country.
  9. That's all a bit mixed up. The Non-Immigrant O Visa is available from your home country and many people have obtained it before travelling to Thailand. The Tourist Visa is not a Non-immigrant Visa and allows a stay of 60 days (extendable). Visa on arrival is for 15 days. I think the route you're pointing people to is to arrive on a Tourist Visa and switch to a Non-Immigrant O visa whilst in country. That visa would then be marked used and would give you 90 days, which could then extended for one year. At the current time, with Visa Waiver being 60 days (the same as a Tourist Visa) there's no real point in getting one.
  10. You still haven't mentioned how your transactions are funded and the reason selected for transfer, both of which could affect the timing, but if these are OK then I would expect an almost instantaneous deposit to Kasikorn.
  11. It's been well documented that Wise recently changed and transfers to Bangkok Bank now all appear as International Transfers and will arrive shortly after 2:00pm on a working day. This will be the same working day if initiated early enough (I think before something like 09:30 or 10:00) or the next day if after that.
  12. For me, £160 GBP (I'm British) to put right an issue in a condo which I'd neglected for 10 years would be a small price to pay. Not worth getting into a debate about, although number 3 is probably a good move and actually insisting on it being done at the same time.
  13. BBL set the exchange rate 4 times on the OP's date. At the highest (32.7) then the Swift transfer would have beaten the Wise one using the values given in the OP. I must admit I was surprised when I read the post as for USD transfers I have read on here in the past that Swift was better above about 10K USD (fairly recently) and around 20K USD (older thread) due to the low spread used by Thai banks in USD exchanges. Maybe Wise fees have changed to become more competitive since these posts as the spread at BBL remains the same at 0.3, although slightly more as a percentage due to the rate used since I last looked at it.
  14. You recommended Siam Pools in a previous thread. Are they no longer an option? Otherwise online.
  15. I agree and was just pointing out there are some reports of misbehaviour.
  16. Here's a recent report of a couple of them. https://aseannow.com/topic/1361888-two-australian-men-surrender-to-pattaya-police-after-brawl-with-foreigner-over-unpaid-bill/
  17. Red Bull was originally Krating Daeng, created by Chaleo Yoovidhya. 6 years later Dietrich Mateschitz got involved and together they founded Red Bull another 2 years on.
  18. There is no longer any 50K baht restriction. Lowest is 500K baht.
  19. This has always been the case I believe. I worked for a defence company and non-UK or USA passport holders weren't allowed access to certain areas or products, even those with "friendly" passports.
  20. He didn't, according to this article. https://thai.news/news/thailand/tragic-accident-in-pattaya-swedish-tourist-paul-succumbs-to-injuries
  21. I can see a reference to the (paid for) service on the front page of Sawadee by AOT. You have to register to use it so I can't take it any further. It also says you can book it on the sawasdeepass website (but there's a 600THB discount available on the app currently which I can't see on the website). https://www.sawasdeepass.com/ However, if they are only offering a wheelchair you may be better to contact your airline and ask for the assistance. That way it'll be free and supplied at both ends of your trip.
  22. Seems odd you would get one already considering the P3 was only valid for 15 days and the P3.1 only given to regular business travellers with supporting evidence of that status. PS. Metadata can be wholly or partially stripped from files.
  23. Also KPK range nowadays which I've heard good things about.
  24. I don't believe he even has the Tax Clearance Certificate (Form P3 or P3.1), just a receipt for paying something which is being used to give him a warm glow but is in no way the real thing. KhunH. - please correct me if I'm wrong.
