SIM Router or Pocket Router. Some discussions here and several more if you search. 4G+ readily available, 5G much more expensive last time I looked. Your speed may be dependant on your package specifics rather than the device. https://aseannow.com/topic/1351944-new-lte-pocket-router-im-loving-it-dlink-router-on-true-unlimited-12-month-data-plan https://aseannow.com/topic/1333069-looking-for-router-with-sim-card-support/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1273022-your-experience-with-sim-card-routers/

Bangkok Bank Now Doing FATCA
treetops replied to kingstonkid's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
It's a recently introduced feature in the forum software and most links now appear like this and require cut/paste to access. There are some sites I think that are "trusted" and the links clickable. -

That makes me think your monthly 29,000 ish baht is the state pension and not a government service pension. You called it earlier a "monthly government retirement pension" which is a bit unclear and has made some posters think of it as eg a civil service pension which would not be taxable due to the DTA. UK State pension is assessable for tax by the Thai RD, however if that is all you remit it's well below the threshold at which you would owe any tax.

Have you tried that? I get a trip not found error message when I enter this info. I think it's Jomtien as googling for the distance seems closer.

New Bus Routes Link Bangkok Airports to Pattaya and Hua Hin
treetops replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
Googling for the distance between Don Mueang Airport and Jomtien Bus Station I'd say yes. -
It's not strictly a post 9/11 rule but was implemented much later following the uncovering of a terrorist plot in 2006.

KBank blocked WISE
treetops replied to Freddy42OZ's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
You've been able to fund Wise transfers for a while using a Thai bank debit card and I mentioned it in a thread last year but then got shot down as it's effectively a way to transfer out of Thailand using Wise which everyone knows is impossible. It certainly was possible albeit an expensive way to do it. No need to use the multi-currency account either just the process as described here using the Thai card to fund the transfer and the bank sees (saw) it the same as an overseas cash withdrawal or purchase. https://aseannow.com/topic/1329579-best-way-to-transfer-money-out-of-thailand/#comment-18991305 -
Which Android TV box to achieve high speeds?
treetops replied to YorkshireTyke's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
I've got a Minix Neo X8-H Plus as a backup which is older than the hills but still runs my apps to my satisfaction. I recently had to update from Android 4 to 5 to keep everything running but I still hope to get a while out if it yet. Redbox TV and Live Net TV are my main apps. -

Are high end smartphones worth the money (to you)?
treetops replied to impulse's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
You chose the wrong vendor without due diligence, but regardless of that it's the vendor's fault, not Lazada's. Lazada are quite good in cases like this as their returns/refund procedure is quite straightforward. -

Lazada don't have any products - they are the selling platform for multiple products and multiple vendors. If you got a poor product it's because you chose poorly.
