  1. Where can I watch this please.
  2. I don't run W11 because, like the OP, I'm not a 'computer geek' and I'm afraid of the problems I may incur.
  3. Good enough for me. I don't see why a company would want to tell lies. They gain nothing.
  4. If you want. In the past I was asked for money to transfer my stamps to my new passport. I refused to pay. And I didn't. You sound just like the person who would have paid.
  5. Below shows that it's the property owners responsibility to register farangs staying at their property. If the property owner cannot do it themselves then a signed proxy from the owner can be submitted by the farang. https://perfecthomes.co.th/tm030-registration-thailand/#:~:text=What is the TM30 law, holiday or living there permanently.

  7. The IO knows darn well that trying to get a Thai to pay a fine, or come into an IO to pay the fine, is nigh on impossible. Hence why they started collecting the fine from farangs about 5 years ago. In all IO they have their rule book. Ask to see the part where it says 'farangs responsibility to pay'.
  8. !5 years or there about before I first got asked for a Tm30. Well I didn't get asked. They fined my missus 500 Baht without me knowing as she'd accompanied me to immigration. If I'd known I wouldn't have let her pay it. It is not farangs responsibility. But as I said earlier another post it's easier to get farang to pay than chase a Thai for money. Wake up.
  9. Cyanide is freely available in Thailand through Cassava. Google is your friend.
  10. The money must be spent in the district where the recipient's home is registered.
  11. Not true. Conditions have to be met to get the payment
  12. Indirectly it can. Just a case of knowing the right people.
  13. Yes it is. What nationality are the 'Residents'?
  14. I did too but had iIVF done in BKK and now have 3 teenage children.
  15. I'm totally confused as to this 'tax' thing. I have to do my extension in a few weeks and is there any extra paperwork I need to take with me to the IO? The last thing I want is to go without all my needed paperwork.
  16. Cuz the copper has his index finger pointing straight. If the gun wasn't cocked there would be no need for him to do that. Doh.
  17. The police were taking no chances with this dude. The cop on the left has his gun drawn and cocked.
  18. The bike should have given way to traffic from the right.
  19. Bumpy Roads! It's all down to construction. When the Thais built roads in the past, still do, they didn't use stone as a sub base. They just compacted soil and Tarmacked over it. Consequently rainwater finds its way through and the sub base becomes spongy and then you get the problem. What they now do is make a concreted sub base slab. Give it time and all roads will be built this way in Thailand, hopefully.
  20. All depends on your finances. Sometimes Chanote titled land is too expensive whereas Sor Por Kor is relatively cheaper but not as secure. You pay's yer money, you takes your chance. I bought 1 &1/4 Rai Chanote land 19 years ago for 400,000 Baht. I'd hate to think how much it would fetch now.
  21. Don't work. They look the part but.............
  22. Hawk Bird Scarer on Lazada
