  1. In my garden. Tarantulas and Scorpions. Never a worry.
  2. No it isn't. Handling Scorpion Stings Apply cool compresses or an ice pack to the bite.
  3. I seem to have mislead you. I am not the owner of the website. I just know the guy and I was trying to help you and others in finding farang foods etc. The owner of the goods has a telephone number displayed on his site and you can contact him on that. I do know that he is sometimes mobile and perhaps you can link up. His name's Paul.
  4. 'The Kingdom' (2007) All sorted now thanks to all who helped.
  5. Thank you. I found it on PB.
  6. 'The Kingdom'. Does anyone know where to download please. It was recommended to me by a friend.
  7. https://nookiesdelights.3baht.net/docs/Nookies Price List.pdf Situated between Nang Rong and Nong Ki. All details on web site.
  8. He has to report to immigration,, same as we do, but how often I do not know. He has no car and the IO is about 90km away.
  9. There's an Iranian that lives near me who speaks perfect English and Thai aged about 25ish. I think the Thais gave him political asylum, or he's under consideration. Doesn't seem to have any worries, works on his girlfriends land and doesn't have a visa as far as I know. What happens when his passport expires I can only guess.
  10. The monk was asked 'how low can you stoop? The monk replies 'about as low as a corgi'.
  11. Who actually decides whether to fine the landlord or traveler for failing to submit a TM30? Chances of landlord voluntary going to IO is 'very very' slim. Chance of farang going voluntary 'very very' highly likely. So easier to fine the farang rather than the Thai. Due to that no landlord is going to bother doing a TM30. It's one big copout
  12. Mine is stapled in the back of my passport.
  13. Nothing to do with traffic lights just Thais and conforming to the law. Where I live new underground waterpipes are being put in. This morning the workers had to close the road off. They put out road closure notices about 100m from the workings. Guess what? The locals took no notice of the signs and carried on down to the roadworks in the hope they could squeeze a motorbike through anywhere instead of going the longer route. Completely selfish idiots IMO.
  14. Thank you for your assistance.
  15. Where can I watch this please.
  16. I don't run W11 because, like the OP, I'm not a 'computer geek' and I'm afraid of the problems I may incur.
  17. Good enough for me. I don't see why a company would want to tell lies. They gain nothing.
  18. If you want. In the past I was asked for money to transfer my stamps to my new passport. I refused to pay. And I didn't. You sound just like the person who would have paid.
  19. Below shows that it's the property owners responsibility to register farangs staying at their property. If the property owner cannot do it themselves then a signed proxy from the owner can be submitted by the farang. https://perfecthomes.co.th/tm030-registration-thailand/#:~:text=What is the TM30 law, holiday or living there permanently.
  20. https://tm30.immigration.go.th/tm30api/loginExternal.jsp?value=EXT&id=a427d014f79344ed0ad3eb2d54e8fcf9&fl=N
  21. The IO knows darn well that trying to get a Thai to pay a fine, or come into an IO to pay the fine, is nigh on impossible. Hence why they started collecting the fine from farangs about 5 years ago. In all IO they have their rule book. Ask to see the part where it says 'farangs responsibility to pay'.
  22. !5 years or there about before I first got asked for a Tm30. Well I didn't get asked. They fined my missus 500 Baht without me knowing as she'd accompanied me to immigration. If I'd known I wouldn't have let her pay it. It is not farangs responsibility. But as I said earlier another post it's easier to get farang to pay than chase a Thai for money. Wake up.
