  1. So you're gullible enough to believe that everyone who rattles a tin cup under your nose is homeless, destitute and broke? A fool and his money.............as they say.
  2. I grew a beard. Never got asked to go shave being as I don't have the beard on my ID card or driving license.
  3. I think the OP tink too mut.
  4. https://nookiesdelights.3baht.net/docs/Nookies Price List.pdf
  5. Not really. The KR2 can be got from any Amphur office in Thailand. It's not restricted to the one where you live. My bank is 200m from an Amphur so both easy to obtain.
  6. Buriram Imm office require it to be done on the day you visit their office.
  7. Depression. Hence why anti depressants are taken first thing in the morning.
  8. When it comes to immigration never be sure what they will do. Same thing happened to me, as per the OP, tuther week. Cover your ass and go to the office. Or send someone with your passport.
  9. Glyphosate As mentioned in previous articles, glyphosate herbicides specifically approved for water works well with aquatic vegetation removal. As a systemic chemical, glyphosate works its way throughout the entire plant, roots and all. Approved by the EPA, glyphosates are the general go-to for water use, as it does not persist in the environment and is considered generally safe for fish and wildlife as long as label instructions and proper dosages are followed. Aquapro, Refuge, Aquamaster, and Rodeo are popular liquid glyphosate brands that are approved for water use.
  10. Something not being told about this story. The guy at the back wearing a red beret is a Thai paratrooper. He has nothing to do with immigration what so ever.
  11. I think he's lived in Thailand long enough to know the answer to that question without asking others for the answer.
  12. The above is nothing compared to the quantity of stored fireworks found in November 2017. BANGKOK — For illegally stockpiling more than 120 tons of fireworks just down the road from Bangkok’s City Hall, a company is facing a hefty fine of 1,000 baht
  13. Only the first 2 vans are Immigration Police vans. The rest are probably standby vehicles as Billd766 indicates.
  14. It was Ubon Joe that informed me that once the children reached 20 years old they are no longer required to be declared as ones children. I was moaning at the time that I was obtaining a marriage extension and didn't see why I had to declare my children every year. And I still don't. My children are Thais and have Thai passports. They also have UK passports. But in saying all this a German woman married to a Thai, living near me, doesn't have to show 400,000 Baht every year. She shows no financial holdings and neither does her Thai husband. Which is totally hypocrisy. And she has a son and she doesn't have to declare him to immigration as far as I'm told. One last bitch. A farang doing a Retirement extension doesn't have to declare his children. A total b***Ix
  15. But the chance of someone being prosecuted for it is non existent. In saying that I agree with you.
  16. MAKRO
  17. Ex servicemen/women get pension increments even if they don't live in the UK. I also get disability benefit with increments even though I don't live in the UK. The other month I was paid 150 Quid for something I know nothing about. I think it was 'cost of living' payment. The place is crazy.
  18. I have 3 teenage children. Today I went to Buriram IO to renew my annual Marriage extension. My wife and I were asked to show our children's ID cards. In over 8 years I've/we've never been asked to show our children's ID cards. Thai children are only issued with an ID card from the age of 7. They become adults age 20 and then a married farang doesn't have to declare their children annually any more. So any farang with legitimate children be warned when now doing your annual extension. Also we were told that the show of money for a Marriage Extension needs to be in the bank 3 months prior to expiry date. I argued the toss and they didn't persist. A bad day at the IO today.
  19. This story is not news. It's a regular occurrence in Thailand when the rains come.
  20. The true fine is 500 Baht. For driving the wrong way. https://phuket-motorbike-rental.com/the-penalties-for-traffic-offenses-in-thaila Or it was 'Driving against traffic'' at 2,000 Baht and 500 Baht for something else?
