It will take some time for the airlines to catch up to demand again. They need time to rehire people, take planes out of storage, reserve airport slots etc. I think they will probably start catching up around the end of Jan.

I think you are trying to apply for the wrong visa. You don't need most of those things as far as I can tell. I think that is only for the special tourist visa (STV), not the regular 60 day tourist visa. Here are the instructions on the Vancouver consulate website. http://www.thaiconsulatevancouver.ca/consulate/documents/visa/tourist-visa.pdf It's a lot easier for me because I don't have to mail my passport anymore. You also don't need to get passport photos anymore. I just took a picture standing in front of a white background with my smartphone at arms length and then cropped it with MS paint. They even have a sample showing how your photos should look. So the e-visa seems like a big improvement to me. If you don't have a scanner you can just take a picture of your passport with your smartphone and then crop it.

Hopefully they eventually do that instead of the quarantine, like they are doing in Phuket.

Oh please. When they rolled out the the electronic vaccination certificates in the west there were tons of problems at first. There always are with these things at first. People were on here beaking off about what a failure thai pass was day 1, which is laughable. Most if not all the problems are sorted now.

I think it partially depends on the capacity of the tower as well. So every location is different depending what tower you are hitting. Anyways, unlimited plans on 3-4-5G is generally not a good thing. More often than not it ends up causing the cell sites to become congested. Especially during peak hours. Most so called 'unlimited' plans I have seen have small print that says anything over a certain amount per month and they will start throttling you.

Now imagine everyone else in your neighborhood using that same SIM or a similar plan from someone else that uses the same provider.

According to this article it's 12 weeks for both stages. First stage takes 6 weeks to producing the bulk vaccine. Second stage is fill and finish, which is often done somewhere else. Well they are, which is why the site is timing out today, as was expected on the first day. If it's not enough tourists it's too much tourist demand causing the website to crashes. Either way you all will whine about it.

If they don't get any more major outbreaks they will open bars in Pattaya Dec 01. I think there have already been comments from higher ups about that date being a possibility. I personally don't really care either way and don't understand why so many people seem so obsessed about it.
