110,000-Plus Debtors Point Finger At Over 81,000 Loan Sharks
Iron Tongue replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
81,000 loan sharks couldn't possibly survive with just 110,000 debtors. I wonder what the actual amount of debtors there are in LoS. -
Rental car with rental sticker outside - your take?
Iron Tongue replied to henrik2000's topic in Thailand Travel Forum
I've never rented in Thailand, but I have often rented cars in the US and EU usually on business, and I prefer them to be unmarked as rentals. To me, identifiable rental cars are like having a flashing light on them that says "Break Into Me! I Have Goodies in the Trunk!" -
Love the stuff. If you don't understand, then you don't understand. Nobody will force you to eat it. However, you will be judged by your utterly dense approach to understanding food. Wasabi is Coleman's mustard? Uh-huh.

Do you fly back and forth between LoS and OZ often?

Why would you even bother believing whatever this person says? When visiting a bank and hearing "The server is down", I would just assume that: 1. There is a technical issue that is preventing the bank from operating as usual; and 2. the person behind the counter knows little more than what he/she has been told; and 3. that I should in no way trust the technical expertise of this person. 4. And you will never be told the truth. It would be up there with believing when the air crew on a plane says that they are "experiencing a technical difficulty, but will be departing shortly"

Tasers and liberal use of excess force, of course! -
Regularly clear the cookies and history in your computer/laptops/cellphones/handhelds. If that guy got some sort of heads-up about you wanting to install gutters, it may have come from your searching online. In addition to any sites, even your search engine is capable of watching your activity and then selling your name & address to legit and illegitimate businesses.

Pit bulls are actually very sociable and friendly dogs, as they have been popular family pets for over a century in the West. It is only through continued abuse by certain low-life owners who turn them into aggressive and fighting animals that pits have become the "terror" that people assume them to be. I think your bullets would be misplaced for use on the dogs.

In other words, you mean that you put soy sauce on your ketchup, right?

Yep. That is definitely Brit food. Not one green vegetable in any of them ...and peppers or spring onions don't count!

Policeman In Hot Water For Letting Chinese Tourist Wear Uniform
Iron Tongue replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I wonder what was so urgent as there is no word that the cop was disciplined or fired. And are they sure that the tourist is a dude? Looks like an unattractive woman to me.- 54 replies

I think it's just a pre-emptive move by Big Joke so that nobody will think twice when they see his car parked in front of massage partners. As for the DW report, I suspect that the number of single bookings from Germany to Thailand will be increasing exponentially.

You didn't mention what your original BP was, nor any changes to lifestyle, diet, etc. so it is impossible to understand what happened. Rather than arbitrarily deciding to reduce medications to every other day, you really need to go see a doctor, either your regular GP, or a cardiologist. And when you go see your doctor, bring the medications you are taking to verify if the dosages are correct.

It isn't the sea that concerns me, it's the untreated raw sewage that is pumped directly into the sea that I have issues with.

That's all anyone needs to read. Most of this will likely go to pay consulting firms run by relatives of local pols. -

Typical first-timer in Pattaya. Paid her upfront only to discover she did not love him longtime.
