Which  Hospital/s ? I was  under the impression  Pattaya  had hospitals  who advocated  themselves as recognized options for  Medical Tourism pre pandemic   times?

They are not referring to the larger private hospitals.  They are referring to Pattaya City Hospital in the main, with some satellite facilities elsewhere.

    Quote

A health center has already been set up in Koh Larn and plans for a kidney unit in Na Klua and another health center in Soi Wat Bunkanjanaram are underway.

The mayor wants to raise standards and capabilities of all departments in line with developments at other health facilities.

The plans also include the setting up of an external HIV treatment facility and one for tuberculosis too.

    And at what cost??

Should be no cost. It's part of the service. Though since it's BP Hospital, I cannot guarante that they will not find a way to add it to the bill.

I have the same thing in the hospital that I use, but they don't charge anything for translation etc Easier to make the appointments through the English speaking department.

To add that for people participating in corruption and fraud to buy favors at immigration that feel the small risk of consequence is acceptable to them I understand very well. I am not a Saint at all. If desperate I would take those odds too. But please be clear that you are internationally participating in corruption and fraud. Don't try to sugar coat with lame rationalizations. Own what you're doing.

How many times are you going to post the same thing?

Internationally participating? Seems you are salivating at the prospect of posting your apparently ignorant opinion.

So what do you suggest? That people rush back to their countries in order to catch COVID if they don't have seasoned funds at the time of applying? Or that they continually crushed themselves into Immigration offices during the times of prevalent COVID-19 transmissions in order to satisfy your lust for moral outrage? Utterly disgusting.

Clearly leeway was put into place for people to regularise their status during these difficult times.

We don't need your multiple post holier than thou opinions here. You said it once, let that be enough.

If you want to do that you need to start at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.

A true international hospital has English speaking people besides the doctors.

Try calling this place some time and explain what you need. I wanted help with a sleep disorder and after 6 minutes I hung up and had my wife call.

They do have English speakers in their International Services department. Which is where you should have called in the first instance.

I know personally that they employ staff to liaise with foreign language speakers.

I'm now getting this issue with TRUE texts and reducing balance, DTAC (oldest sim card) thankfully only get the texts.

For Dtac network service users, dial * 137 and make a call.

Press 1 to cancel SMS sent directly from Dtac. Press 2 to cancel the registered SMS for which you are charged.

As I said, not sure.website says closes 9pm. Better buy something at midnight instead of a photo of a sign.

I have a receipt in hand from this month showing at time of 4.41am.

It's the mall that may shut at 9pm. Foodland stays open, but you have to enter through a certain entrance.

    Hi, thanks for your responses.

It not the YouTube we are all used to, but a new service they now call YouTube TV. And yes you do need a VPN, because you can't use the service if you are not in the US.

As I said earlier, I have the VPN and YouTube TV working on my computer, but I need somebody's help that knows what they are doing to get it working on my TV.

I've a friend in Pattaya who pays about 20,000 baht to get his bank book fixed and a retirement extension . He naively believes he's doing nothing illegal, even after telling me there's an immigration officer in the bank!

A lot of people here in denial, as far as I can see. Fair enough if you're OK with corruption, but don't complain about it elsewhere.

I don't believe.....that you have any friends at all.

He is "your friend" but you are here throwing him under the bus to make yourself look holier-than-thou? Low.
