  1. But prosecution is much less likely as bank will likely not be out any money so no need to do so. If probate does not provide these funds to wife is where legal measures would be most likely to happen.
  2. One issue, from years of reports here, seems to be that even those with such insurance get injured doing things that the insurance does not cover. Check the go fund me pages for just a fraction of these people.
  3. There should not be any such requirement for income method (unless perhaps if using non passbook account). Can say for sure not required by Bangkok. The information is in your passbook which was just updated.
  4. Date issued by Consulate. But an entry on last day of validity still gets a new 90 day stay.
  5. Reading wrong - sorry - read as passport rather than passbook.
  6. Actually that will be the first step - police will return it to your Embassy from my understanding.
  7. The way they know it is pension is the foreign bank deposit code. That pension letter is not accepted as your Embassy will not guarantee it. With BBL the code is FTT so without that there will be a requirement for paperwork on each transfer I suspect. You did keep 800k in bank for 3 months after last extension start date? If not unlikely they will accept new extension without a new non immigrant O visa entry as you would be in violation of current extension of stay requirements.
  8. But it appears he was not using this method for current extension.
  9. You need these items from Bangkok Bank One a normal account statement for the 12 months proceeding extension application (to show required 65k or more transferred from a foreign account into your name only account each month - this has to be obtained from hqs so takes about a week before available at local branch. If deposit is not listed as FTT/overseas transfer additional paperwork will be required to prove foreign source (that is where credit advance statements from bank making transfer into account might be required). Second you will need a letter of account ownership/balance within last several days from local bank branch. Third you will require updated passbook/copies.
  10. How long ago did you transfer the extension of stay into the new passport?
  11. Don't remember if any cheaper but a quick check should show the options if you have not subscribed. They already have me so not getting such advertising.
  12. And can be paid yearly with none of the automatic renewal issues (I do not like such commitments as we age and forget).
  13. Your wife has submitted a TM30 report for your living in her house?
  14. Your name is Phuket but posted in Chiang Mai but I am in Bangkok so not much help for the who. We used local made SS about 30 years ago and they are still fine today and don't believe they were that much more expensive than cheaper materials (although plastic was not common then). They need to be a bit large for the heavy rainfalls we get and about 15 years ago ran direct drain pipes to soi for faster drainage.
  15. Suspect you are asking about SCB (Siam Commercial Bank). Do not have accounts with them anymore but some banks list on passbook.
  16. The toilets are on different taps which is not restricted. In our case use T type split taps as below:
  17. But you do not say what your issue is. And there are several systems. Our box that feeds from internet modem has been very reliable for a number of years - although after not using for an extended period had to do a factory reset (they came and did and provided code if needed again). Only issue we have had since easily resolved by pulling DC supply and attaching again. Believe most people have given up on pay TV systems such as this however and now use internet apps directly. But that is younger persons game as I sill use a Nokia 3310.
  18. Indeed with no flow pressure is same but volume of water passed will be much less if hose blows and floor drain can easily cope.
  19. Which takes about 20 minutes a year and done online in real time for those with only a few accounts. All you need is your information/bank information and highest deposit amount during the year in each account divided by the FBAR year exchange rate (which takes about 20 seconds to Google). 2023-12-31 Thailand-Baht 34.33 2023-12-31
  20. Sorry - try to avoid such misunderstandings but old age getting me at times. Just that actually using an adjustable tap for bidet hose and never have set to full flow.
  21. That's what I said - it is not set to allow but a fraction of full flow. And I do have drain available to take out water from floor.
  22. They have such taps - believe was posted earlier (or another active topic but have not seen in Thailand and not sure if would work with low water pressure here). What I mean is normal adjustable tap on wall for bidet - allowing adjustable flow to bidet (to keep it comfortable). Most Thai homes I have seen are built with a separate floor drain even if they have an enclosed shower. You could hook up a solenoid valve to your bathroom light switch as an automatic shut off (and they also have battery versions controlled by phone). But have not seen any burst pipe passive valve (as available for gas supply) here. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/wifi-smart-water-valve-water-auto-shutoff-valve-controller-home-automation-water-shut-off-valve-alexa-google-application-i4096849858-s16005665470.html?
  23. Along with taking a good portion of the money. Would not be calling Saul.
  24. No - but there is a flow restriction tap and floor drain.
