  1. My first thought was that, let me guess, the real parents are having fun on their entire salaries and never even see their kids. But they will be all around as soon the daughter gets married, to collect the sinsod.
  2. Yeah at least try to go for it until near the very end, good chance they wanna avoid the hassle and stamp you in. Find it a weird story anyway, why would he be taken out of line and then be given a form, details are missing. Random BS happens anyway, I had a german friend being refused a tourist visa while he only had 1 before too. He then decided to just fly in for the next 4-5 times, extend each time, and so far got no complaints at all. It's just random as fk.
  3. I saw this one a few days ago, this is near CMU, I drove by there. Up to the mountain area near a waterfall and the boy scout camping ground.
  4. Must be clueless, Thais love camping and it is a rapidly growing niche even.
  5. Must be the guy who asked here a while ago? He asked for phuket and I said we would read about it here lol.
  6. Not if he goes back to phangan. We dont house the sour nazi types there.
  7. Im not sure why the OP asks but i assume its for guests and not himself. Just try and grab some pinot noir at 500-700 baht and you will be fine.
  8. Nonsense, plenty of good bottles for 500-700 baht, which sell in restaurants from as little as 1000-1200 too. I can know, i drink a few bottles a week.
  9. Well nothing strange about that but to actually complain over who eats it spicy or not, or how people like to order, wtf… low.
  10. Not need to eat the chilis in a dish to still have benefits of the outcome in taste when it was used during the cooking process. Proper chefs know that, as well that it is never the goal to actually burn people mouths. So this entire topic is nonsense as everyone has different preferences. Says nothing about the dish as well if eating it with half a chili or ten. OP clearly lacks social skills, is likely the reason his food orders get messed up too lol.
  11. One must have a pathetic little life if bringing this up for real…
  12. True but down south they later on further improved it by doing paperwork and photo before, then they send you home and you collect it in a minute from 4:30pm
  13. I would tell her i help and start with going together on grab taxi to her hotel, im sure she would refuse.
  14. In some places in the south its same, need to come a day before not earlier. I guess it makes sense to keep the amount of people per day reasonable because down there im usually done in 1-2 hours.
  15. But but they promised i would be safe with 1 shot. Then 2, 3, 4, 5… and most that die had most shots too lol.
  16. Htx.com and poloniex.com have plenty of p2p. Just withdraw cash with overseas bank account or withdraw 10k abroad and fly it in. Not see what is complicated.
  17. Lol wtf, how can they just implement stuff like this out of nowhere. There is no way I would have known this and i would just have booked a flight to kuala lumpur as usual, I can imagine this is the same for hundreds of people leaving from the west to malaysia on their so maniest trip.
  18. Hanoi does not allow to walk in, you need to make appointment, takes a few days to process as well. Be prepared to need more documents than you get, thus needing extra days to still get what you might be missing, in Hanoi.
  19. Made up stories? How it is unknown to you or other members here (that you seem to speak for), there is plenty of retirees with a million in dollars and very lavish budget / spending. As well there is plenty who make or made it in business in a younger age already, and plenty who drive cars that cost 60-80K a month in installments too, because the leases are short in duration. Can even just be for a normal mercedes. I think what is more funny, and made up, is that poor people always assume that anyone who has money is the enemy, or that that is unrealistic. Only to defend their own position, instead of simply admitting, yeah I kind of <deleted> up and am not too rich. This while most rich people are extremely positive towards anyone.
  20. What is your monthly budget? It is hard to tell what options you would have, you can easily avoid any of the visa issues by also sometimes travelling to Vietnam etc. Aside from that, I expect us westerners to get at least 45 days on arrival if not 90 days on arrival next year, as they are that desperate for tourists by that time. Would not do any visa in australia as it likely cost you time and money, you can just arrive on 30 days, extend that with 30 days, and then make a plan or do a visa trip to Laos / Vietnam etc. If you have all the time in the world and don't mind to ''slow travel'' it can still be inexpensive.
  21. Has nothing to do with the burning and it is currently only 50-60 average, which is almost the same anywhere in Thailand.
  22. Phangan and Tao, skip Samui entirely, its a mess there.
