Currently on Elite, Expires November, but have 6 Months Free till May, not going to renew as Elite has become toxic (all the Chinese criminals using) and the perks that were there have evaporated over time, i.e you used to just inform them you are coming but now need to give 5 days notice etc, or if you wish to remain without leaving (like i have done since 2020) its now 45 days (all criminal background checks etc. Doesn't make sense when you still have to do 90 day reporting and the only perk is immigration printing all the paperwork. So considering my options (too young for Retirement visa) so that leaves LTR, Parent, Marriage, LTR has been problematic for a lawyer i know so not gonna bother with that, marriage doesn't suit to be at her behest, have three dual national kids (Thai citizenship) all in education (as Thais, international school). FYI those of you living in Thailand, but claiming to be in the UK/Other need to understand something, Thailand joined CRS, that means all your financial(s) are either sent as standard to the UK or are available (in-depth) on demand, so if anyone here is cheating the pension system/other you will end up being criminally charged at some point, this isn't human driven its AI driven...

New Passport being issued by the UK Gov via VFS, i surmise i head to swampy and pick it up, but whats the process after, my visa expires Nov and Elite will issue a new stamp within 5 days if i depart and fly back in, 45 days if i remain but that time will have lapsed for the new criminal background check timeframe (45 days) as its the remaining 6 months free that will be issued, do i await my visa expiring and depart, then when i return inform them before hand so as to affix new stamp, or do i need to depart immediately when getting the new passport, i.e or do i have to transfer the existing stamp to the new passport, or just allow it to expire on the old passport, exiting with that ? Basically I don't want to clog up the new passport with the old visa being transferred, as that's 1 page for the sticker, and 1 page for the stamp, then a new sticker/stamp is another two pages... So ideally get new passport, depart in November and when i return get issued with the new visa, or transfer to dependency visa (kids in school)
