Real name is Ashton Kevin Saunders (Ben Ashton Kevin Saunders) He had a suspended sentence (2 yrs) and community service, so unsure why Thailand is stating he is a fugitive : https://www.nationaltradingstandards.uk/news/business-grant-scammer-sentenced-for-online-fraud/ As that would be expired (2015) it's 10 yrs gone.

British Pedo in Thailand for 25 Years
Jenkins9039 replied to GinBoy2's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Had drinks in the open bar, about a decade ago in Chalong Yacht Club - he was frequently there, early 20's at the time, never would have even considered he was what he was, he was close with a sailor here Grenville Fordam, he even openly said (i believe both personal/commercial relationship) he was in shock/disbelief, i believe the community even raised the funds to get him back to the UK, completely unaware. -

This is in Thailand, or offshore? P2P platform is within Thailand or offshore? In Thailand it would be CIB (or equivalent) with AMOL Offshore likely FBI, Homeland, IRS CLI, ATF, DEA etc i.e P2P you may have touched some funds from a US interested case, onshore you've touched funds from something similar (i.e call centre gangs etc). If you are clean - then you are clean - but they will put you through the ringer.

British TikTok Star Jailed in Thailand Over Visa and Benefit Fraud
Jenkins9039 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Story doesn't make sense. Why does Thailand care about someone living in the country with mental health benefits, and spending that into the economy, no, this would only make sense under the following reasons. 1) UK Government have asked for aid in returning her to the UK, extradition in this case wouldn't be something that would likely pass muster in the Thai judicial system, so the Thai government (who can't willy nilly revoke - would go through judicial appeals) merely waited it out. 2) She forgot to renew her visa or was made aware she wouldn't be able to (in neighboring country) one of the so -called bad guys - thus she thought she'd remain in Thailand, as there must be a reason it wouldn't be renewed, logically she should have gone to a neighboring country but didn't, thus when she didn't renew they arrested her for having a expired visa / permit to remain. Outcome -> observe what happens when she gets shipped back to blighty. -
https://world.thaipbs.or.th/detail/more-trafficked-foreigners-to-be-sent-from-myanmar-to-thailand/56525 Keep reading from various sources, how Thailand will arrest this Col Saw Chit Thu chap. Find it difficult to understand how that will play out. 1) He's a Colonel in a breakaway state currently under a civil war. 2) Thailand isn't America i.e it's laws don't apply outside of Thai borders (Territorial). a) charges include Trafficking/Money Laundering - the underlying activity occurred outside of Thailand, i.e the trafficking occurred world wide but ultimately people went into Burma of their own free will and were then involving themselves in these entities, or were kidnapped... but that occurred in Burma, the money laundering is a secondary act and money laundering is concealment and layering which hasn't occurred in Thailand, the proper charge is fraud and bank fraud. Just noise or is Burma subservient to Thailand, i.e is Thailand above China in the pecking order of Asia, as China couldn't stop this.

Had a SCB Credit Card since 2012 (actual credit card yes). Was transferred from SCB to Card X shortly after they issued their new platinum card, got the CardX one a month later, and then that expired and a new one issued through to 2029. Have a great CB Credit Score (clear routinely). Went to 7/11 last night for some stuff, always just use card, and it declined (red lettering on their screen) used another card, got home logged in on phone and see - your card can not be used please call xxxxx Got monthly statement sent same night no comments on closing account, go to points section, or request statement section in the app, can't request for inactive card. Doesn't appear to be a security freeze but 'inactive'. I guess they are getting round to closing accounts for those of us that don't cost money (i.e interest probably paid this year 800 baht but earned 12,000 in Central Vouchers) or something else, anyone else had a similar before i call them and go round in circles?
