R20s will just give you a firmer , and probably noisier ride. i am over that <deleted>!! Lol my previous Ranger was a 2020 Raptor, and I went crazy customizing it. Big front and rear bars, custom lights and super wide 21s all around. Why did I do it? Because I could! In Australia, you can do very little in the way of modifications. it looked great. Would i do it again? No. The ride quality and noise from the wide tyres was horrendous!

Yes - they are fine in a straight line. Not noisy, and quite a comfortable ride. Just make sure your front wheel alignment is correct. I tend to wear my tyres out more quickly than average because I like to corner quickly. I always wear the outer shoulders of my tyres (on all tyres- irrespective of price level) more quickly. Sometimes you just can’t take the idiot boy-racer out of the man….

American Tourist Dies in Phuket After Night Out Drinking with Friends
G Rex replied to Georgealbert's topic in Phuket News
All of you arm-chair experts are so annoying! So holier than thou! Yes - it may have been alcohol related , it may have been drugs, spiked or self administered, he could have aspirated and choked on his own puke. Whatever!!! But can we please agree that this is a sad outcome - and leave the diagnostics and pontifications to the experts? Thank you -
The KO3 T/As are not as aggressive or Off Road spec as the Mud Terrain T/A KM3s - the Mud Terrain are much noisier on road. In my experience, another benefit of the BFGs is that I can easily get 50K ks from a set, whereas i struggle to get 30K from 'cheaper' tyres. (Disclaimer - I am VERY hard on my tyres!! Corners were made to enjoy!). The only issue is that they can feel 'hard' for the last 10,000 ks.

I recently replaced my origunal spec GoodYear Wranglers on my Ranger. They were okay as road tyres, but not great grip, and 'chirping' every time i did a U-turn, or even when I turned a corner! I put a pair of Maxxis on the front a few months ago, because one of the original GoodYears developed a bulge on the side wall (after 12,000Ks). These were cheap, and had even less grip than the GoodYears!. In work mode back in Australia, I always ran either Coopers or BFG. I eventually stopped Coopers because I was getting too many punctures. I bit the bullet here, and put a set of BFG AT ko3 265/65/18 s on. It was the best move I have made for a long time! They are quiet , have good grip - on and off road - and they look great on the car too. Those raised white letters are good for at least another 25 horsepower - lol. Not cheap, at 34k for 4 - but totally worth it for safety and peace of mind. if you want some slightly used Maxxis - they are slowly rotting behind my shed!

Russian Motorcyclist Dies in High-Speed Crash on Phuket's Bypass Road

I think you are grandstanding here. Dr Tom is correct here IMO. If I , or some othere family member was to depart in such a manner - the survivors would regard this as ridiculous reckless behaviour - hardly a tragic, or unexpected outcome. -

Thailand Cracks Down on Vapes with Severe Penalties and Public Reporting
G Rex replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I understand your concerns - but - the incongruity is that regular cigarettes also cause ALL of these ‘harms’ - and yet they are legal. It is obvious to me that the biggest concern with regards to vaping is the lack of government control, and revenue. -
I have been a bit of a gym junkie for the last 30 years. In my early 60s. i have a decent home gym - do a 2 hour full body workout (okay , I never have legs day..) every second day. Plenty of aerobic exercise around the farm. I am bigger and stronger than I have ever been!

Could Trump's plan fail in a spectacular fashion?
G Rex replied to spidermike007's topic in Political Soapbox
I am amazed at the rubbish this smug orange creature spouts daily. Every day a different lie or ridiculous exaggeration. I don't understand why he is not quizzed by the main stream media more - is everyone in his pocket? I do not think he actually has a coherent 'plan'.- 343 replies

Lactose intolerance is not common in cats. Those that are, will have diarrhoea after drinking it. (not immediately lol) If he wants it, and it helps create the bond - let him have it. He does not 'need' to drink milk. Humans are the only placental animal that continue to drink milk after weaning! I do not 'need' to drink beer , but I like it...

Expat Arrested for Keeping Exotic and Protected Wildlife
G Rex replied to Georgealbert's topic in Central Thailand News
All of this speculation about " how could they afford to buy this large property" is off topic bs! I live near Kanchanaburi and 4 years ago bought 50 Rai (correction, my Wife bought , lol) of land on a sealed road , with water and electricity connected for about 2 million baht. His land, on the newscast, looks unimproved - so I doubt whether it would have been a huge expense more than 10 years ago. 'Most of the listed species in the original article - even the exotics - do not require a permit to own. It is only the civet and reticulated python, Thai species, that require a permit. The Sulcata Tortoise, though on the CITES list, is readily available in Thailand, and permits are easily obtained. While in the area, these officials should visit the Surasi Camp Zoo in the Kanchanaburi district. This zoo has many local species, such as Civets, Binturongs, Bears, and many monkeys - being kept in deplorable conditions. -

My thoughts exactly!! The article lost me after referring to the victims 'enigmatic disease'. No (normal) human has ever referred to an affliction as 'enigmatic'!
