Is never going to happen. The FIA charges a ridiculous fee to the host countries. Even with the tourist and local appeal of the event - Thailand is unlikely to come away 'with a profit' after holding such an event. Melbourne has held the Australian F1 GP for nearly 20 years - and the event has always cost Victorian taxpayers a ton of money . The entry fee for patrons at these events is very high - well out of reach of many Thai people. A safe and interesting venue, with good access for the paying public will need to be built from scratch. Dream on. But - while we are talking about this, it stops us thinking about Tony, and other more important Thai issues

Does Poo still have her hearing? Many dogs vocalise like this, due to the dementia, but are unaware that they are making noise! Be careful with Meloxicam. It is a great drug - but should not be given on an empty stomach, or it will cause gut problems. If her stools are black, or very dark - stop the medication immediately. As others have said, euthanasia is the best option here. She may not be 'suffering' , but she has no dignity like this - and her quality of life is very low. After 15 years together, this is not the way you want to remember her.

I have had similar experiences with many purchases of electrical goods from shops like Big C, Homepro & PowerBuy. There is no exciting unboxing when you get home. Everything is opened in store and checked to make sure it is operational. I can understand this practice - but I do find it annoying - especially because they are seldom able to neatly repackage the item in its box!

This appears to be a huge over-reaction by the employer. I doubt this was the 'Managers' first offence. My take is that the Hotel would have been looking for a reason to show this employee the door - and in doing so, also show how much they value their customers. Win , win. but - maybe I am overthinking this - I am sure it is much easier to fire an employee here in LOS than it was in Australia.

sorry - maybe I didn't make things clear. I was suggesting that the car was making a turn from the opposite side of the road, and consequently pulled in front of the rider - not that they were both turning

The car was probably making a U turn from the other side of the road - crossing the path of the rider, who was unable to avoid the car. This also makes for an easier getaway by the driver of the car..

Politics , and politicians are a necessary evil. I understand that voters will have a leaning towards a particular party - and their respective policies. However - I hate how it is ALL about the leader or these parties. I can understand why voters might want to vote for the Republicans , as the Democrats appear to be flailing. I do not understand why, in a country of 330 million people - Trump and Harris are seen as the best candidates. If that is the best you have.... very sad

I use a Mac Mini with a Samsung M8 monitor as my desktop computer. It works very well, The Mini does not have many ports, but this is easily remedied by adding an (also small) Satechi Mac Mini hub. The hub has the same footprint as the Mac mini. It gives me multiple Type C and card ports. The only issue I have with my system is I cannot get my Mac mini to operate with the Samsung webcam - but that is not a real problem for me. This system is faster than my M2 Macbook Pro.

I understand your concern for the welfare of other living creatures - however I honestly question the logic of perpetuating the canine problem in Thailand. There - I have said it . The elephant is now visible. If the dogs have owners - it is not your responsibility. If they are strays - it is still not your responsibility . When they cause a motorcycle accident, or bite someone - will you put your hand up to be responsible for their actions?
