Took me a few years to decide which location and accommodation I would choose here. I would suggest renting first , travel around to the other major ex-pat areas, choose one, move and rent there for a while, see how that suits your budget/lifestyle/personality. Apologies, I have not had that treatment. I am anticipating the next stage of my life requiring some form of medical intervention and trying to be knowledgeable of the options. Occasionally I research the subject and find answers, on occasions I'm confronted by 25 minute videos such as the one in this post leaving me confused. I'm also perplexed by the number of different remedies suggested by sufferers specifically with diet options. The problem is I enjoy coffee and can only think of two foods I wouldn't eat; should I deny myself that enjoyment in favour of a shortened life span?

My personal experience after radiotherapy for cancer and medication for BPH is retrograde ejaculation. I find it less enjoyable and intense although that may also be age related. I would not consider it to be a great negative in any option, specifically the HOLEP treatment. Supplements and diet is confusing, whenever I read up on it the options, they appear to contradict each other and I end up with the basics...pomegranate and tomato juice.

I'm in a similar position and I have left a note to my partner advising some other details with regards to this. Namely that she will receive correspondence from the pension administrators occasionally to confirm she is still alive herself and also that if she was to get married the pensions would cease. Shame about the UK state pension not being transferable; I believe one of the reasons was due to elderly UK women marrying young Africans and passing on the pension to them. Any one else that isn't married to their Thai wife should check the relationship requirements as the definition of a 'partner' varies; some require the surviving partner to prove that she was reliant on the deceased's income.

I always agreed with the premise when selling a property that many buyers don't see a bedroom unless it has a bed in it. If the flight rom BKK is late, they have in the past delayed departure of the UK bound flights. DXB is a massive airport with 3 in line interconnecting terminals. The distance from A to terminal C (thro' B) is huge , however there are trains that shuttle from one to another. I have read somewhere that (nearly) all Emirates flights are now gated at Terminal C so that should help with transfer time. Personally I would not use DXB if I wasn't an Emirates customer; firstly it's one huge shopping mall with the same shops and food outlets repeated every 100 metres , and the real pain is the wonderful smiling welcome you get from security that you have to pass through when you arrive.

One of only a few times in my life did I achieve a 9 out of 10. I had no idea as I felt 100% fit and had never been advised to have my PSA checked. Yes you would expect the Potus to have been afforded that check, however PSA level is only part of the diagnosis. As for his general health I am 2 years down the road and have all the accompanying side effects of the condition and treatment , however in my opinion and from my own experience he has other health issues. Unless of course as he is 6 years ahead of me the cancer is having that effect on him and I have a similar fate.
