Austrian fire trucks. Chinese buses imported through Malaysia to be used in Bangkok (are they still in a field somewhere?). Containers of wheelchairs imported from the UK to be given to charity that were impounded by Customs. Stolen luxury, sports and supercars stolen from the UK sitting in Customs in Laem Chabang. Etc. We could probably keep on going for a while on this subject if we tried, such is the corruption and waste of taxpayers' money here.

Cannabis warning; smoking joints to remain illegal
Mr Meeseeks replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News Headlines
All the hangers on hoping for legalisation were always going to be disappointed. Let's be perfectly honest, anyone that thought it was going to be in any way different, doesn't understand the way this country works. -

It's quite clear in Thai. Anything over 2% THC i. e. buds, hashish, oil etc is a narcotic which is still illegal. Anything under 2% THC which is the plant itself, leaves, stems etc. is legal. Pattaya is currently awash with ganja though, places selling joints, edibles etc. way beyond the 'allowed' THC percentages, with no police action so this is where people are hoping full legalisation will happen. I think they are going to be disappointed. I hope I'm wrong but I just can't see that happening under this government. Anyone that thinks you can just grow 6 plants and have a kilo bag of bud sitting there and the Police won't do anything clearly hasn't been in Thailand long enough. ???? -

What do you think will happen with a deeply Conservative military government that took apparent glee in closing entertainment venues for the past two years? Answers on a postcard. -

Needs jail and deported for that cowardly assault. As usual cowardly pay to play Thai justice to the fore. -
Sounds familiar. BANGKOK — Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha’s twin daughters on Wednesday filed a police complaint for libel against about a hundred social media accounts who accused them of holding privilege and funneling Prayut’s funds, among other allegations. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/politics/2020/09/03/prayuts-daughters-hit-back-at-netizens-accusations/

While I don't disagree there is a petty jingoism being stoked against the English by the SNP and their ilk at the moment, loads of Scots supported Tim Henman and continue to support other English athletes as Scotland is also part of GB. The football rivalry is a different animal, Scots can never support the English national football team. -

So what he seems to be saying is, "I'm brilliant, I have all the solutions to everything, but it's all your fault." What a buffoon. -
