Rollout of third-dose ‘booster jabs’ underway in Phuket
Hamus Yaigh replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
You should have a MOPH certified vaccine cert already with two jabs? -
Android boxes are nothing more that small computer boxes that run Android so of course they are available. Just like you find on a phone or even on a Windows PC with an Android emulator. All you need then is to install the application to run your TV channels of choice. Many applications run on Android but they also run on other operating systems as well. I am currently watching all the latest sports channels that may be on the Fox network also on a Windows PC at the moment as I have some other jobs to do on the PC at the same time. When I go to another part of my house I can watch the same channels on an Android box attached to a flat screen TV with the family. If I go for a dump I can switch to the app of the same service on my mobile device. You just need to sign up for an IPTV service provider and get all the thousands of channels you want.

When you get older you'll realize nothing is ever free in this world.

I did same as you, paid deposit for one dose of Moderna as a booster to my existing free Thai MOPH jabs earlier in year. The THG LINE app questionnaire caters for all combinations of single/double Moderna jabs, or as a booster to all existing vaccines available until now in Thailand.

Yes, it takes you to a Google Form to fill in (which needs a few attempts as Google says its being used too much!). Once in YOU get to choose the date of your vaccine and they start with OCTOBER (seems a bit optimistic?) through middle next year. The sign in to Google Form requires your ID# used to sign / pay deposit at THG, which was my Thai ID#. However when I went via the Expat Vaccine route at other hospital for the AZ/Sino jabs earlier in the year I was given a new Thai Vaccine ID#, so wonder how that ties in having two Thai ID#s?

Has anyone had a dose of AZ followed by a dose of Pfizer?

SO you had two jabs in Thailand, did they give you a vaccine certificate with this combo like everyone else gets if getting just one type of vaccine? -

With two Thai vaccines in you like you have done, have they given you a vaccination certificate recognized by MOPH needed for the Mor Phrom app or a International Travel Vaccine Passport? -
This is the information that came from THG via a graphic on a LINE app. Nothing else. No email or phone numbers asked for AFAIK. They collected almost 400,000 deposits in a week. I was mid week.

Google, Gmail - need alternative email account
Hamus Yaigh replied to Speedo1968's topic in IT and Computers
You can use profiles on a free web browser with multiple GMail and YahooMail accounts and any of those accounts can be 'bridged' to an email client. I use Outlook 2019 email client, I just have my main Gmail and YahooMail accounts bridged to this so I have all my mail on my computer discs. Costs nothing, been doing it 20 years or more. 15GB to 1TB of free storage online also these days. -
Google, Gmail - need alternative email account
Hamus Yaigh replied to Speedo1968's topic in IT and Computers
How is it well worth it? The big three offer much larger free space. You mean just for the price of privacy? The o/p wasn't asking that tho. Free space from free email providers per account: Gmail 15GB Yahoo Mail 1TB Outlook Mail 15GB -
The full price was something like 1700THB per jab, and THG has so far only asked for 1200THB deposit towards the full price.

I got a general update message yesterday on the LINE app from THG group in Bangkok saying they now had sorted there priories for those who had PAID a deposit to get a Moderna vaccine. I registered for Moderna back in June and paid in early July when free Pfizers were unheard of and all we had was queues for AZ and Sinovac. Now THG is saying they have up to 400,000 paid customers waiting and prioritized based on payment order. They also say they have no idea when Moderna vaccine will arrive as the Govt controls it. Since paying I already had SInovac jabs, so no idea how this will play out, if the government will permit a third shot? By time the Modernas arrive, we should all be due booster?

Registration opens for expats in Phuket to receive Pfizer
Hamus Yaigh replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Title says one thing, article another. Title: Registration opens for expats in Phuket to receive Pfizer Article: Expats in Phuket who have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccination have been invited to register to be vaccinated by either AstraZeneca, Sinovac or Pfizer. -
Struggling to understand the point of tlc's reply below. All the op needs is a paid for IPTV sub that allows two views at a time. The rest is all showing off isn't it?
-
Still the same. I have paid for Moderna also. When I paid I expected to get jab early next year taking into account delivery due in Oct and queues. Now. with this delivery due 'end of year', I expect to get next year maybe by April-June? The hospital (THG) is holding onto my cash. Meanwhile the govt is since giving away Pfizers mRNA for free to those eligible. Who says they don't have a grip of things?
