Have you travelled much since november? there is no any insurance covering hospitel. Each insurance covers hospital. There is no definition of reinfection within 90 days for travel purpose. Passenger is fully covered. Ideally they should scrap pcr and hotel for arrivals with recovery. Possibly it would be one of the stages before July full opening

First send them copy just after booking hotel, ask to forward to hospital. on check in show to reception, ask to make copy and ask again to forward to hospital. also ask the nurse taking swab to make picture and enclose with your sample. insist on them doing so. They might be hesitant, ignorant or arrogant, at each stage and dismiss your request. some nurses dont read english well, explain to them the purpose. I read only one story about antibody test, and it was at the airport. That was second hand report. There were also cases when hospitals agreed to do the second pcr test at patient expense, after the first positive. Those hadnt got recovery certificates. But the majority of positives were not allowed any further tests, just release on day 10. Positive pcr might turn for months. My doctor at covid ward just told me not to do any tests for 90 days and dont worry. Omicron passes very quickly and is mild. Possibly with the previous variants symptoms lasted long and during that time shed virus.

Mind that its not about tourists, but about visitors. People do travel for many different reasons - family, friends, business, traders, work. Only small part being tourism per se. That might be an addition to the other reasons. There might be some short tourism around songkran/easter holidays, some during summer holidays july-august (families and students, gap year, backpackers). There would be even winter pensioners, who missed travel within the last few months because of omicron restrictions, but need to come to their condos, houses to look after them.

With recovery you are fully covered for 90 days. around december for those there was antibody test from blood at airport for 3k and some 1h waiting for laboratory results. since then with omicron deluge they dont do antibodies. you can come to thailand still positive, on condition you have recovery issued minimum 14 days. yes, its possible to have covid within this time (my thai nurse told me a new infection can happen within a month), probably with another variant. but the law doesnt take it into consideration. After booking hotel send them your recovery and ask to forward to their hospital. Insist on it during check in time, if they failed to send to hospital earlier. make a point, that with recovery you will walk out from hotel the next day, no matter of results.
