  1. Nice piece of cherry picking. There's a lot more to the Chinese economy than high-tech. And that portion is seriously afflicted by the policies of Xi.
  2. And a control freak who basically believes in old style Socialism.
  3. Basically I agree with you. But all economies are managed to some extent. China's economy is way over managed. Like most dictators, Xi is a control freak.
  4. I think it's going to be more matter of America sinking than China rising. I guess relatively speaking the results will look the same as far as comparative economic strength goes. But China has its own huge economic problems which it'dresolutely not facing. Under Xi huge resources are being diverted to maintaining failing government enterprises which now constitute once again the majority of the economy.
  5. Researchers who tracked cases of dementia in Welsh adults have uncovered the strongest evidence yet that the shingles vaccination reduces the risk of developing the devastating brain disease. Health records of more than 280,000 older adults revealed that those who received a largely discontinued shingles vaccine called Zostavax were 20% less likely to be diagnosed with dementia over the next seven years than those who went without. Pascal Geldsetzer, at Stanford University, said: “For the first time we are able to say much more confidently that the shingles vaccine causes a reduction in dementia risk. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2025/apr/02/study-finds-strongest-evidence-yet-that-shingles-vaccine-helps-cut-dementia-risk Here's a link to the original research published in Nature. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-025-08800-x
  6. What's your problem? I'm actually honoring you. After all, if in fact, you're not from the future, then what you would be offering is merely a reflexive threat untethered to reality. But since I know that you would never indulge in that kind mentally suspect comment, I am sure that what you were sharing with us was news and not a prediction. By the way, what model is your time machine?
  7. The reason millions flooded into the US is the same reason millions flooded into the EU. They're looking for work and/or fleeing violence.
  8. Thank you traveler from the future.
  9. “Here we are, weeks in, and you’re still unable to proffer me any information with regard to any kind of investigation or malfeasance,” U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan said A federal judge on Wednesday blasted the Trump administration for still offering no proof of wrongdoing in trying to claw back $20 billion in climate grants and questioned whether EPA used the proper legal tools to terminate the contracts. Judge Tanya Chutkan of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, who weeks ago ordered the cash be kept in Citibank’s accounts for the time being, pressed a Justice Department attorney to explain EPA’s reasoning for ending the grants last month. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/04/02/judge-hammers-epas-terminating-20b-climate-grants-00267004

  11. Soros did give 2 million as required by law How much did George Soros donate to Susan Crawford's campaign? Soros donated $2 million to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, which then gave the money to Crawford's campaign. Per Wisconsin election law, large donations must first be given to the state parties, then transferred to the candidate. https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/politics/2025/04/02/how-much-did-george-soros-donate-to-susan-crawford-in-wisconsin/82772510007/ Musk gave about 25 million Elon Musk Wasted $25M on Wisconsin Supreme Court Election Failure https://www.newsweek.com/elon-musk-wisconsin-supreme-court-election-loss-2053668
  12. Well, as Trump explained, it's not Americans who are going to pay for those tariffs. When China exports stuff to the US, it's China that's going to pay for those tariffs, not Americans.
  13. Are you now in some kind of denial about the existence of the EU? If you total up what just the EU nations in this list import from Germany the total in thousands is about 696,369,000. And if you throw in Switzerland, which should be included given how tightly bound it is by agreements with the EU the total in thousands comes to about 770,360,000. This is about 4.5 times as much trade as Germany does with America. And of course, this doesn't include all the other EU nations that don't make the top 10 list. Isn't free trade amazing?
  14. Ten years ago, when Wisconsin lawmakers approved a bill to allow unlimited spending in state elections, only one Republican voted no. https://www.propublica.org/article/wisconsin-supreme-court-race-most-expensive-us-history-elon-musk
  15. Right. He was masquerading under the name of Elon Musk. Even managed to look like him. But he couldn't fool you.
  16. I guess this goes under one piece of fiction deserves another.
  17. Well given that it was an imaginary psyop, I didn't think in additional fiction would make any difference.
  18. They nearly succeeded in assassinating Boris Johnson with their imaginary disease
  19. Says the who trash talks fired government workers repeatedly.
  20. I don't know. Given the conduct of some of the members here, I'd say many of them have never left it.
  21. And the special election in Florida’s 6th District, a nail-biter for many national GOP operatives given that state Sen. Randy Fine was outraised by progressive challenger Josh Weil 10-to-1, did end up as a Republican win. But the surprise of the night came from the Panhandle’s 1st District, where former Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis won against Democrat Gay Valimont by nearly the same margin that Fine did — something operatives hadn’t predicted in the days leading up to the election. The results showed Valimont was the first Democrat in recent history to win Escambia County, which includes military-heavy Pensacola. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/04/01/patronis-fine-trump-florida-00265436

  23. William Barr and John Durham were traitors? What orders from Trump didn't they follow?
  24. If Trump could have done it, it would have happened in his first term during the failed Durham investigation.
