Can anybody please explain to me what "fake sunglasses" are.
Sunglasses with window glass in them, maybe, or no glass at all?
If the stop some sunrays, well, they do their work and are real sunglasses.
That said, why must policemen, paid by taxpayers, work for free for companies?
Are those companies paying for the police hours?

Well, they can't say they weren't warned. Dreadful that all those people had to lose their lives which I would like to think would plague a few consciences, but I have my doubts...
Kim?
Conscience?
He will gladly destroy anything, including his own country and people to keep power.

There's been no mention of the anaesthetist. If the poor guy was out to it within minutes, the surgeon wouldn't have made a start.
Those guys have to be very well qualified. Even Michael Jackson made the wrong choice.
R.I.P.
Most clinics use intravenous sedation with midazolam combined with local anaestasia.
No anaestesist really needed.

Most do.
Or can do.

Wow ! the medics can determine what the cause was just like that.
You'd be surprised how much a medic with some experience can deduct from a dead body.

Boy, that speech is loaded with more elements of fallacious reasoning than I have seen in a long time. It should be presented as a class example for a case study
Like all political speeches, including those made in your own country by your "own" politico's, they leave a huge amount of things open.
However, thing is, this government in fact is not doing badly.

As concluded in the article, the EUrophiles are very much afraid of anything reeking of democracy, including the growing wishes of several regions in Europe to be independent.
The thing is that many in Europe are getting anti EU.
And that is a frightening thing for the undemocratic, autocratic bunch in Brussels.
-
I am afraid the Spanish government in it's heavy handed approach, supported by the weasel like fright of the EUrophiles, has opened an Europe wide can of worms that can only be closed, temporarily, with a lot of violence.
To be continued.
May freedom not be too costly.

IF true, that is good news at least.
Somehow, the idea of drugs and nukes being used at the same time doesn't make me feel warm and safe...
Or maybe feel blindingly hot for a surprisingly short moment?

If the solid original bridge built by thai engineers washed away I don't put much faith in a temporary built by thai engineers. Need to get the guys who built that one over the river Kwai 70 years ago.
Many "died" on the job while "working" for the Japanese emperor, while the rest will probably also be dead by now.
The overseers still are convinced they were, and are, victims also.

How did you come to that conclusion ? They are still part of Spain...
That's exactly what Spain and the EU wants you to believe.
In fact the people chose to be independent, which is denied by Spain and the EU, being afraid of democracy.
The Bask will follow suit, like the Flemish, maybe the Scots, who knows will follow.
Which will mean the end of the EU.
That would be a good thing, seeing the way that body is going.

There is only the submission to islam, ultimately.

Not all voters are stupid
But stupid people voted for Brexit
Seen the latest polls?
I don't think Brexit will happen, thankfully
That would be the definite green light for the EU autocratics to kill off any vestige of democracy.

Exactly. The opening sentence of the article says it all :-
"Billionaire media mogul says it is ‘hard to understand why a country doing so well wanted to ruin it’"
I think most recognise that whilst the wealthy were doing very well, the poor and average were not doing "so well". Something Mr Bloomberg doesn't care about and/or has entirely missed......
Maybe Mr Bloomberg hasn't got the foggiest idea why people voted for Brexit, why so many people in Europe would like to see their country do the same, and why so many in the USA spurned the democrats after 8 years of Obama.
He definitely is, like most politicians, not interested in anything else but his own money.

Bridge under construction collapses. Possible cause: Cement truck starts engine. Transformer falls on car. Cause: Heavy rains and strong winds. If rains and wind were the cause, then why weren't transformers dropping left right and centre. Why just this one. Of course logic and Thai are diametrically opposed. Just pitiful really.
The question remains, without the heavy rain and wind, would it have fallen also.
Things like that don't belong on poles, the right place is a seperate housing the on the ground.
And the cables underground.

Yep, another case for banning firearms of farangs !
I guess the firearm used was a kind of illegal.
Police, anywhere on the world, have no idea what to do about illegal arms, so the lawmakers start to give the public a good feeling by taking away the guns from the easiest group......the foreigners.
