Ten years, eh; ten years work down the drain in an instant. Back to Egypt with the clothes he's standing up in is it, and that's it? Who would want to live such a precarious existence? Bet he was dobbed in by someone after his assets.

    Good bet.

    You cannot go wrong.

I agree with her 100%. I know free speech is not absolute but allowing Nazis to march and spout hate speech while denying a woman to appear topless in public seems a more a judgement on morality than the US constitution.

    Nazis?

I really thought those bast*** were a thing of the past from Germany.  Using that name again and again gives that dirt a kind of popularity.

    Awful.

I am not British so my views don't matter much, however...

This was a stupid decision, and it has been compounded by the most incompetent leaving process I have ever seen. If you feel that you need to set a time and date into law for getting out, your future relations ain't gonna be that great.

    Apologies to my Brit friends...

The decision to leave the EU was a good one.

    That EU Moloch is undemocratic.

The only way back to democracy in Europe may be the return to the EEC.

    Or break up the EU.

    Or leave it.

There was no way that bike was ever going to be able to stop in the distance they had when he ran out in the road. Three people seriously hurt and while the bike riders were drunk, you have to say that accident was caused by the policeman.

I also understand the concern for their colleague, but no one seems to give a shit about the condition of the bike riders. They are human beings after all.

Me, for one, don't give a shit about the condition of the drunk motorbike idiots.

Hope they will have a bloody headache and a violent hangover for the rest of their lives.

Generals placed in civilian positions with no knowledge or expertise in their new posts.

At the same time they then get to receive two salaries.....their army one plus the new civilian one.

As soon as they take up their new posts the first thing they do is employ close relatives as secretaries and assistants, also on nice fat salaries.

Nonetheless, there are still some exceedingly naive posters who claim the coup and current government are doing a good job stamping out corruption.

    Imbeciles.

Can you please tell me truthfully that the average politico has better qualifications?

And you really think you can stamp out something grown into society in many years within a year or two?

Who then qualifies to be called an  imbicile?

Wouldnt want to be a black guy in thailand, would be like walking around with criminal tattoo on your forehead.  A task force especially for blacks even the name black eagle smells of racism.

    Very PC indeed.

    Racism?

Yes, I presume there might be reason for that, don't you think.

Can also act like an ostrich, just do as if there is no problem at all.

In short, the good guys al as get the troubles because of the bad guys.

You sir, have never been to a Michelin star restaurant.

Nothing to be ashamed of, just try not to talk too much about them if you have no clue what its all about.

Should one be ashamed to never having eaten in a michelin star eatery?

Because that is what any restaurant eventually boils down to, an eatery, a place where food is being served.

In my view, the star thing makes food expensive, maybe a little bit better, and the entourage not even slightly more enticing.

Snobism really is the biggest part, as your comment clearly shows.

As you are the Adult, you need to inform the Children that is impolite to eat with their mouths open

Can't escape the idea it will be quite hopeless to "inform" the children that chomping food with open mouth is impolite.

Adults do the same, at home and in restaurants.

Quite awful, it takes my pleasure in the food on the table away.

They assume it is a debit card

It seems to depend on the combination of issuing bank and local bank.

Personally I like using a pin, mostly now credit card companies don't ask for a signature any more.

I have a credit card from a Dutch bank, it bears my picture, I need to pin, and I sign the receipt and always ask the seller, in deeds or words, to verify my signature.

    Safety first.
