  1. You think? The carnage of failed relationships and destroyed lives suggests otherwise. 14 children some conceived with people, while he was still married to another person. Some of the kids don't even see their father. The man benefited from the South African clique deal on Paypal and has used that to finance predatory investments since, always enabled by his South African cabal. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2025/jan/26/elon-musk-peter-thiel-apartheid-south-africa
  2. Tesla's glory days in Thailand are behind it. As per the Fitch report quoted in the Bangkok Press; - Electric vehicle (EV) sales in Thailand slowed considerably in 2024 - BYD recently opened its first EV plant in Southeast Asia, located in Rayong. The $486-million facility is expected to employ around 10,000 workers and produce 150,000 vehicles annually. - GAC Aion, the EV subsidiary of GAC Group, inaugurated its first overseas plant in Thailand. The new plant has an initial annual production capacity of 50,000 units, with plans to expand to 100,000 units, producing several models such as the second-generation Aion V, Aion Y Plus, and Hyper HT. - In Pattaya, Toyota launched a pilot programme for its new EV, the Hilux Revo-e, marking the company's first electric pickup, aiming to capture a share of Thailand's significant pickup market, currently dominated by Toyota and Isuzu. Toyota plans to manufacture and export the Hilux Revo-e from Thailand by the end of 2025. - Isuzu also intends to produce an electric D-Max in Thailand and begin exports in 2025. Thailand will offer subsidies and incentives for Thai built EVs. Tesla won't qualify.
  3. Well, who do you think are diehard Maga supporters? 😄 And in fairness, aren't these vehicles produced in China, not the USA?
  4. When the farangs who delight in have carnal relations with them stop coming. Like any nuisance pest, they are there because they are encouraged. If no one was purchasing their sexual services that Pattaya is known for such as Buggery, Cleveland Steamers, Rusty Trombone etc. they would go elsewhere. Many of Freud's theories have been disproven or countered. Some of his ideas were downright idiotic.
  5. Beautiful Thailand. land of Smiles. So many people want to come, they need to change the visas. When people stop coming and the money tap is shut off then they will act.
  6. The underlying issue is that people who are innocent of criminal activity are being arrested and sent to a foreign prison without due process. There are people who reportedly had tatoos of a humminbird or Real Madrid that were mistaken for gang tatoos who were sent to foreign prisons.
  7. Although, I am leaning towards dismissing this story as nonsense, sometimes there is a kernel of truth in these tales of woe. The fellow looks rather old for his age
  8. Slashing of the body is not uncommon for the mentally ill. They can hack their wrists, cut off body parts and yes, cut their own throats Seems you have no idea what happened. Or they were already oredisposed to mental illness and the illness followed its natural course. It has already been reported that he had been offered help in Germany and declined. He chose not to take his medications and he chose to enter Thailand. Had Germany attempted to stop him, it would have violated his civil rights, and Germany did not share his medical information with Thailand because it would have violated his right to privacy. The responsibility actually rests with the spouse who did not report him to the Thai authorities. They could have forced him to return to Germany, or prove that he was on his medications to avoid deportation.
  9. The Malaysia evisa offers 30 days, Visa on Arrival is 30 days for Thais, Indians and Chinese. Some countries qualify for up to 90 days. Any intent to stay longer needs to obtain the full visa, which requires documentation.
  10. The benefit of cataract surgery is that the new lense can correct some or most of the vision deficiency caused by eyeball geometry defects. It does often come with the halo effect and deterioration of night vision too. Lasik surgery still has the same risks of halos and night vision impact as described above. Nothing has changed, although the use of the "new "eyedrops reduces the likelihood of dry eye syndrome. The reality is that as we pass age 50, our night vision gets worse with each passing year. The reason I mention the cataract surgery is that if you are candidate for cataract surgery or expect to have it soon, hold off on the Lasik surgery. You may find that the use of a new lense offers corrections that make any remaining vision deficiency liveable.
  11. Stop it. You are revising history to suit your personal political position. Where do you think the term jew came from? Hint: The land of Judea. People of the jewish faith lived in the lands long before muslims originated. The reality is that the people you call Palestinians are Arabs, and they were the migrants who came from Arabia and Mesopotamia aka Iraq. Jews were once the majority in the lands now occupied by Arabs. They were run off their land over the centuries. Even the koran details this. The people who lived in the region alongside the jews were Bedouins, a nomadic people forced to convert to Islam. They too originated in the Syrian and Arabian lands and migrated into the land of the Israelites. And stop blaming the British. They had to clean up the mess that the Turkish colonial occupiers left after the Turkish Empire collapsed. None of this has anything to do with the attack of October 7. The facts outlined in the report will be denied by sympathizers of the Gazans and Hamas and who will offer the same nonsensical misdirects as you. The reality is that Hamas has not respected its obligation to hand over the remaining hostages. The fact that the Gazans still hold humans as hostages speaks to the evil that permeates the Gazan society. The manner in which the few hostages were released reflects the horrors of October 7 and demonstrates that the Hamas movement has no interest in civility or decency.
  12. Oh yes, because F150s are so practical for commuting to work and for taking the kids to soccer practice.
  13. Azerbaijan is supplying some LNG. However, the big profiteer is the USA which is selling LNG to Germany and Italy at a premium price. This is why the Europeans are putting pressure on Canada to build a new LNG supply system to Hudson Bay, Manitoba or to the oil refineries at Levis Quebec. If it happens, Canada should thank Trump for getting uniting the country to build it as it will deliver much needed FX to the economy. Lots of unepected consequences of Trump's idiocy. South Korea is moving to normalize relations with hina and to transfer more trade to China away from the USA.
  14. I go to the airport, and fly to beautiful civilzed Japan. It's Cherry Blossom time. I don't look back.
  15. It's a mistype. They meant cooling oil. Transformers use Mineral oil.
  16. I suspect foul play. The power substation had a catastrophic fire that involved 24,000 liters of cooling oil. Ok, it is possible. However, what is questionable is; 1. Why didn't the fire suppression system work? Was it inactivated? 2. How did the Heathrow backup generator manage to be damaged at the same time? It was located in a building separate from the substation. (by separate, meaning that there would have been firewalls.) There has been significant resistance to the expansion of the airport operations including adding a runway.I will not be surprised if an opponent of the airport is implicated.
  17. KFC, McDonalds typically source their ingredients locally. They use local labour. The retail outlets in Thailand are franchises. For example, Minor corp which owns Sizzler, Wine Connection, Dairy Queen and others is the jv licensee for Burger King. Aside from the license fees paid back to the master license holder, much of the profit stays with the local operators. The real driver of the US economy is services. A boycott of US financial services, especially banks would destroy Wall Street and reduce US influence. No more JP Morgan, Bank of America etc., and the USA would think the sky is falling. However, the reality is very different. Everyone talks a good game, but no one really does anything. It's like the sanctions on Russia, Everyone was ignoring the intent of sanctions. The USA was still importing Russian minderals, the EU oil and gas through ghost transfers, China and India readily devouring the Russian oil, and thereby financing a war. It's nice that Canadians say they will boycott, but the reality is that the aircraft are still flying from Canada to Florida filled with holiday goers. The gays are still planning to go to NYC for Pride, the US agricultural products are still flowing unimpeded into Canada, and 800,000+ Canadians are still living and working in the USA.
  18. Whoah. You made alot of assumptions. 1. U.S. Federal District Courts most certainly are allowed to deal with cases involving national security. Where else do you expect US cases to be heard and/or tried? Within limits set by Congress and the Constitution, district courts have jurisdiction to hear nearly all categories of federal civil and criminal cases. Criminal cases involve an allegation by the government that an individual or entity violated the criminal laws of the United States. Civil cases arise from disputes involving the Constitution, federal laws, or treaties. They also can be brought in district court if the parties are citizens of different states or countries and the amount in controversy exceeds a certain amount of money. 2. It is difficult to impeach a Federal judge and that was intentional. It was to prevent political interference, which is what we see the Trump group trying to do. The bar setting is high to impeach a judge and there must be demonstrable corruption. To date, judicial impeachments have been few and restricted to inappropriate behavior such as business dealing conflicts of interest. The judge being targeted has a sterling reputation and has never before been accused of political bias or corruption. The man is Chief Judge of the District Court. He received a B.A., magna cum laude, in History in 1985 from Yale College, an M.A. in Modern European History from Oxford University in 1986 and a J.D. from Yale Law School in 1990. This is no hick from the sticks who made his bones processing real estate transactions or chasing car crashes. Go after a man of a solid reputation and who is respected by his peers and you will open a can of whoop. The House doesn't have the votes, nor the Senate to impeach. Nor would the SCOTUS, aside from Justices Thomas and ALito go along with it. Keep pushing this agenda and it will result in the basis to impeach President Trump .
  19. 1 incident out of how many bar and restaurant visits by visitors from the UK on any given day? Let's make a fuss over nothing. Nasty people make for nasty drunks. Tell me something we didn't already know. He is tolerated because he spends money and has a Thai wife to provide cover for his idiocy, not because of the kindness of Thais. On any given night, Thai nationals are beating someone up or stabbing or shooting someone in a bar/restaurant.
  20. Note that Momondo is owned by Priceline and now operates as a unit of Kayak. It uses the Kayak search engine. The group includes Agoda, Cheap Flights, and Booking.com Google Flights is more reliable because it is aggregating fares available from OTAs like Priceline and Expedia and the airlines themselves.
  21. Hungary receives direct payment benefit of 4.5 billion Euros from the EU. It is also given other funding under various cohesion projects that currently exceeds 10 billion Euro. Hungary is a net beneficiary of the EU. Hungarians go to work in the EU, while no one in the EU goes to work in Hungary. Hungary benefits from preferred trade access to the EU. Having all that comes with an obligation to respect the EU rules and regulations. The EU has some basic civil rights requirements. Principles such as no discrimination, no state sanctioned violence against vulnerable marginalized people, anti corruption requirements, and requirements for judicial and police integrity. Hungary has difficulty in implrementing anti corruption measures and in addressing state sanctioned suppression of democratic institutions and a free press. It's real easy. Orban and his fascist supporters can withdraw from the EU and go F themselves or they can respect the. basic tenets of membership in the EU. Germany, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Austria and Italy are carrying the EU with their contributions. At the very least, Hungary should respect their reasonable expectations of decency and civility.
  22. They marry their 1st cousins. It will be alot of fun dealing with that.
