Posting in gigantic fonts does not change reality. Your cut and paste does not effectively support your claims. On the contrary it once again demonstrates the folly of uneducated simpletons making assumptions based upon studies taken out of context, In respect to the claim that herpes specifically strengthens the immune system, the study you refer does not specifically support your claim. You have taken an observational study out of context. All that it showed was that in laboratory mice the murine gammaherpesvirus 68 or murine cytomegalovirus was observed to provide (mild) resistance against (some) bacteria. Mice are not humans. The immune system must deal with multiple threats from viruses, fungi, mold, parasites, venoms and environmental immune triggering substances. The study did not prove protection against the aforementioned, nor a broad spectrum bacteria response. The biochemical actions that result from the presence of the herpes viruses are studied in respect to the development of a VACCINE to prevent HSV infections. The biochemical reactions and the byproducts observed are also observed with other latent viral infections. The herpes research relies in large part on the advances delivered by HIV and cancer research. The study did not demonstrate the benefits of infection by these viruses. The study was in 2007. If your claim was true, we should all be innoculated with HSV viruses to create robust immune systems. It is wonderful that you have have copied and pasted a reference to a Hutch press release. Did you read the.study? Do you even understand what was written? Yes, it is a promising study result and good news, but the study is very clear on the limitations of the potential treatment. 1. Mice were used. They have a VERY DIFFERENT response to HSV infections than humans. Specifically, they do not demonstrate the same latency of infection. In order to trigger a reoccurrence of the infection, immunosuppressants must be used. This introduces a limitation on the treatment. Did the treatment counter the immunosuppressant or did it counter the herpes virus? The Hutch researchers recognize this limitation. 2. The meganuclease therapy uses enzymes to edit genes. The side effect is liver toxicity. The dose needed to induce the gene changes also has side effects that can damage other tissue with the liver toxicity the most pronounced. In plain language, the cure can be worse than the infection. It's like Trump's theory on injecting bleach into humans to kill the Covid virus. It works, but it also kills the human. 3. Other options involve vaccines that involve less toxic mRNA therapy. However, we all know the opposition you and your kind have to mRNA therapies. It is laughable that now you embrace meganuclease therapy which has far greater adverse impact than mRNA therapy. Yes, great strides have been made to delivering an effective treatment for herpes, but we are a long way off from delivering the product. Animal study results are still years away, and with the recent cuts to the NIH, it is unlikely the USA will see any new research until the Republicans leave office. Even if there was a product available, clinical trials would be 5-10 years. You are offering false hope to people when you claim that there is a cure, or that a cure is a short time away. Stick to regurgitating Trump Truth Social posts and leave the analysis of health research studies to people who have the education and cognitive ability to comprehend the studies.

Giving the Russians a piece of my mind.
Patong2021 replied to Robert_Smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Russians are the biggest fans and supporters of Trump. You must all fall in line and express your love and admiration for the minions of Putin. -
No they do not always come back. More people stay away. All it takes is one rip off. Asean Now's list of "members" is populated by people who have not come back. A large number left for financial reasons. Covid was the turning point.

There is no cure. And the potential treatments rely on gene therapy using mRNA technology, which you oppose. And no , herpes does not strenghtn the imunity system. On the contrary, the reoccurence of variants such as herpes zoster occurs when the immune system is stressed.

Nightmare in Kursk: Ukrainian Troops Recount Devastating Retreat
Patong2021 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Anyone who disagrees with you is wrong. Telegram is not a reliable source of information. Yes, some news media have stories, and they are transparent in identifying their information source. Until the information is corroborated by Ukraine and more relaible sources such as defense analysts in the UK or USA or EU, it is prudent to take the articles under caution. Withdrawals in an active combat zone are never easy and come with casualties. No surprise. Wheteher or not the casualties are devastating is something else. -
British Tourist Fights for Life After Tragic Accident in Phuket

So? What do you think Legal Liability insurance is? It is for LEGAL LIABILITY arising from the event. The information provided is correct. It is not for VOLUNTARY payment. If you wanted compensation, it was your obligation to bring a civil suit. The insurer has a duty to defend. If the court says the driver is legally liable, the insurer would have paid on the insured's behalf. The same rules apply on your home country motor liability (except in jurisdictions where there is a no fault law). -

The exclusion is in respect to the insured. Legal liability for injury to third parties is typically covered. -

Then you are naive. A person can say they have insurance, but without evidence of a policy number, or contact number or insurer name, the coverage cannot be confirmed.- 129 replies

German Man Behind Violent Tirade in Korat Dental Clinics
Patong2021 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
The man would probably be manageable if he was medicated. Unfortunately, you can't force people to take their anti psychotic medications. He is most likely in Thailand because of his Thai marriage and legal status on his visa. In order to deport, his visa must be revoked. Ideally, he should be sent back to Germany where there is a much better psychiatric care system in place. AT worse, he ends up on the street in an east german city where he will fit in with the locals. -
Thailand Cuts Visa-Free Stay to 30 Days to Combat Abuse
Patong2021 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Very shortsighted move and it will effectively discourage the exact socio economic groups the country wanted. The option of a 60 day visa with an option to extend another 30 days was ideal for snowbirds. It brought in older and wealthier people who did not want the hassle of a visa hassle. The people who were relying on this visa were the western visitors, particularly retirees and Nordics. The 60 day visa is not the reason there are problems with visitors. The overstayers will overstay on 30 day visas and the troublemakers will still make trouble. There is no link between the 60 day visas and illegal business operations. The illegal operations are carried out by long stay foreigners. Alot of people on 60 day visas did not stay the full 60 days. Instead they were opting for 31-45 days and the 60 day option made their lives easier. The takeaway is that this is collective punishment because the Thais do not want to upset the Russians and Chinese. At the very least, offer the 60 day visa through the electronic portal without the lengthy paperwork and documentation process.- 221 replies

No the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines that had been in the pipeline. However, as you are fishing for some praise for President Trump, he gets it on this. He listened to his daughter Ivanka and son in law Jared, and the scientists and made sure the vaccines could be produced in the USA. Unfortunately, the cuts in vaccine research are going to make a similar response in the future difficult. Don't forget the contributions that came from Canada and the EU.

Sweden has stated that its initial managment of the pandemic, especially the reliance on "herd immunity" was inappropriate. It adopted a more conservative management approach. The end result is that Sweden has one of the highest Covid19 vaccination rates in Europe. East European countries which have historically been resistant to vaccine use and where conspiracy claims found fertile ground have the lowest rate of. Covid 19 vaccination. It should not be a surprise that countries with poor national health like Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, and Russia have low vaccination rates.

There is no data that shows "all the adverse events and poor efficacy". Look, I get it that you are against vaccinations and have seized upon mRNA technology as a conspiracy, so just say that and not toss out false claims. mRNA technology has been saving lives for over a decade, and there are thousands of cancer patients grateful for the advances. The reason why the scientists are. stripping references to mRNA is because of the incompetent corrupt man who is now Secretary of Health and who is opposed to vaccines. Anyone associated with mRNA will be discriminated against.
