Ingenious Solution! No More Hassle Parking, Just Use the 'Auto-Turn' Car Platform
Very true it means that every car needs a width longer than a car length to be able to park nose/tail in, therefore useless in a car park as you indicate. Could be very useful though in private parking with limited maneuvering space, where you can drive straight in and turn the car to face out to the road. Reversing out onto a road is significant source of mishaps.

Those who have had their accounts closed by UK banks
Both my private pension companies (one monthly and one annual) refused to deposit my pensions payments into my Wise account, only one gave a reason which was "Wise are a financial institution not a bank".

90 day report on new passport but stamps not transferred
Assume from the refusal to transfer stamps into the new passport that your still registered as residing in Trang, you need to submit a TM30 to Phuket Immigration to show you are now at a Phuket address, if you want to have them do anything for you.

Immigration house check
Stupid thing was that I kept a copy for use in UK (not needed only translated cert), shredded it just before coming here permanently as thought have marriage certs, what came before is now history.

Immigration house check
Married here 21 years ago, I provided the "Affirmation" which was translated & then certified by MFA which was kept by the Amphure, and subsequently "mislaid" by them, Head of Amphure put that in writing to Immigration but to no avail. I had the money in the bank already, so the IO halved the pile of submitted papers, gave the rest back, approved Retirement and stamped passport, did not need to do wife & witness interview's, etc., nor submit to higher authority. No agents in locality, and not sure I would trust doing by mail. Separate issue but mail posted in Thailand can take 6/8 weeks to be delivered if it arrives at all, about the same as post from UK.

Immigration house check
I've had three visits by the local police (sub-contracted by Immigration), the first when I think I was still on a marriage extension, the later two definitely while on retirement. All three were carried out at the same address. The transfer from marriage to retirement was at the bequest of Immigration as I could not provide a copy of the "Affirmation of Freedom to Marry" document, without this they said they could not prove the marriage was legal (despite copies of KR 2 and KR 3) and therefore could not approve the extension request.

The Postman keeps trying to 'befriend' me.
Don't tell me he's an ex deputy PM and has enough time on his hands (or wrists) to deliver mail too

Landlord won't give back 2 security deposits, am I legally allowed to damage to the property?
There's two things here as I see it 1. Breach of contract by refusing to return your deposits, which is primarily a civil matter, and 2. If you bust up things (property or furnishings) after you have given notice to leave it could be classed as "Criminal Damage" which could involve the police if the landlord wanted to go that way. Remember 2 wrongs don't make a right.

New Rayong Immigration requirement for retirement extensions based on 800k in the bank

New Rayong Immigration requirement for retirement extensions based on 800k in the bank
a single 12 month statement is all that is required
-
New Rayong Immigration requirement for retirement extensions based on 800k in the bank
Is this nationwide and a new requirement too or is it just Rayong. In 18 years have never been asked to provide certified copies of passbook, about 3 years ago my office started looking for 12 months statements.

In-Depth: Who is Srettha Thavisin, Thai Prime Minister Candidate
Even looks IMO a little like Thaksin, if he wins I guess he will be the one to facilitate their return and absolution. Wonder which companies he holds shares in?

Agencies for Police Clearance Certificate?
Don't know why you asked this question, as you know it all already.

Intoxicated Russian Man Damaging Multiple Cars Stopped by Phuket Police Using Tasers
He was either getting in some practice before he returns, or maybe thought if he did enough damage he wouldn't be sent back (jail in Thailand might be more survivable than the front line in Russia)

Is 5 consecutive entries allowed?
Precisely. The less time you spend outside Thailand between visits the more chance of being rejected on arrival. If you want to spend a lot of time in Thailand, they want you to be on a Visa other than tourist.

90 Days Drive through
Where I am located we don't have one (and I've never been to any office which does), our Immigration Office is a little off the beaten track - in fact I didn't know the road existed until they moved there. So I was using imagination and guesswork, also hoping for enlightenment.

90 Days Drive through
I would have thought the online system would have been quicker and less hassle, no chance of queues, no human contact, do not need to travel, but what do I know.

Buriram Highway Police crack down on driver using deceptive number plate sticker
The recipient of the tickets must be a VIP to get a Highways Police Lt Colonel to investigate tirelessly. Bet if I complained about getting speeding tickets in my 17 year old pick-up, it would be on your bike go and pay them.

SCB ending SCB Easy Net internet banking.
Around the 4th/5th of July I was opening a new account and adding it to Mobile app, the branch then asked if I wanted SCB EasyNet as well. Confucius says help, no understand.

Yellow House Book revisited
Yes, some do seem to have real difficulties in getting the Yellow Book, I was registered in the Blue Book (later transferred to the Yellow Book) when we got married so I had no real problems (other than a sore bum sitting for 5 hours on a bench seat). A friend went to get one from the same Ampher and hit a complete brick wall, nothing could be done until he produced a copy of his birth certificate certified by the UK Embassy, as everybody know that is NFC.

Yellow House Book revisited
Not in my local National Park you wouldn't, the last time I checked it was 30 Baht for Thai & had risen to 500 Baht for me and unmovable (god knows what it is now), the wife tried a number of times using yellow book, pink card & driving license to get it reduced, no way. They have a 15 ft waterfall & rapids and the kids liked to play in the pool at the bottom, it's about a 2 km walk from the car park. 15 km further along the road is a set of rapids & smaller pools which are free and is only about 200 m walk, guess where the wife liked and the kids couldn't care less, it was hot and there was water.

Yellow House Book revisited
Went to SCB to open a new account and get it added to mobile banking, the existing account was opened when I had a work permit, now I'm retired so no work permit - all so difficult until I produced the yellow book - then it was sign here, here and here, 10 minutes later all done.
