This is from the post this morning from USA today yesterday:
But without a traditional victim in the fraud case, the appeals court has broad discretion to set a bond at perhaps a fraction of the total judgment.
And with that the cross-examination began 2 hours ago.
And here it ends.
So we now have an appeal against the bond?

If I post a source... which is available to anybody who is smart enough to use google... will you read it or do the usual liberal left turn and just deride the source? That's the problem with the forum rule on sources... it becomes about your OPINION ABOUT the source...
"So you have an opinion and stick to it, no matter what"... right?
That's the problem with untrustworthy/unreliable sources.

Are these undercover coppers in the photo? 😱
There were quite a few of these around at tourist places. They talked to quite a few people. but proving they're working as guides is not always easy. I do hope it serves as a warning and will scare off some of the illegal ones.

Spoken like a true liberal... your perspective is sooo distorted that you cannot detect when someone is left of center because you have no center to use as a starting point... and no "the result " means nothing to me... I could care less about who did what and who is better than who... I leave that to you.
So you don't care but do post in the thread.
And nothing on your claim the source is biased.
So you have an opinion and stick to it, no matter what.

Lol, government statements and indictments are not proof. Better stick to al Jazeera opinion for proof then.

The reason is he violated two kinds of sanctions dealing with Iran. One is he brokered oil sales. For that he'd get a slap on the wrist. The other is he tried to broker arms sales to Iran. That will get him on the screen of Mossad, and Mossad has their own particular way of dealing with such scoundrels.
I am more interested in the trump administration already knowing he was lying, and after that the republican senate at best being used by Russian intelligence.

I am amazed at the number of foreigners here who want to see America weakened from its pre-eminent position in the world, and who support Trump.
Even worse, many Americans want to see America weakened.

I know. The insinuation was that they were inappropriate judges in accordance with his quote. At least I think so. It's hard to pin down the right wing innuendo at the best of times, they never make their point clearly when it involves conspiracies
The poster you reacted to is not right wing.
There was no insinuation at all.

Are you suggesting that Engoron consulted with other judges in either of these categories or just trying to muddy the waters?
He was responding tosomeone else who claimed it likely engoran consulted with other judges.

Trump's civil fraud verdict appeal may hinge on 'no victims' defense
February 17, 20246:56 AM GMT+7Updated 4 days ago
<SKIP>
(AG) James, a Democrat, brought her lawsuit in 2022 under New York Executive Law 63(12), which gives her office broad powers to file civil lawsuits for "repeated" or "persistent" fraud. This law historically has been used to protect consumers, investors and small businesses from scams, price-gouging and other predatory business practices.
These cases typically involve many victims who lost large sums of money to businesses that exploited their poor financial savvy, according to legal experts.
Defendants in those cases have run the gamut, from chicken suppliers to crypto exchanges and loan sharks. A common thread is often a large group of victims who were exploited because the did not know any better, according to legal experts. <SKIP>Severe penalties in a novel case like this one could potentially be met with skepticism on appeal, legal experts said. They could also prompt appellate judges to consider whether the attorney general overstepped her authority, according to Germain.
"I think the judges are going to have to look carefully at what the powers of the attorney general are here," Germain said. "Are they so broad that any lie can put you out of business, even if nobody believed it?"Engoron has been unequivocal in rejecting Trump's arguments, saying in a September ruling in the case that Trump's claim about a lack of victims was "completely irrelevant."
What appeal?

I do not reject knowledge I just admit that the bias is there unlike Demons who proclaim their ignorance in blindly following the propaganda.
So why do you claim they're biased? Because of the result?
I notice there is no answer to my earlier question as well to why the source is biased.

No bias in evidence then?
IMO it's normally the left wing that seeks to control every aspect of life, and the right wing that emphasises individual rights.
You're living in the past.

Exactly.
What is the point of these posts. It's a topic about expats leaving Phuket, why post 'never been there' or 'been there 20 years ago but didn't enjoy it'.
Let's say I have never been to Pattaya, why would I contribute about a Pattaya topic.

He is posting in the Phuket forum, all the trolling in this thread seems to come from not Phuket based members.

Trump allies prepare to infuse ‘Christian nationalism’ in second administration

You really think they're doing this to get the lefties riled up? Not because they want to infuse Christian Nationalism into American politics?
