  1. Should I post my life story? Gawd, no...probably best for the rest of us if you don't, there are so many members here of a delicate constitution!
  2. Why? Why would a dustbin want to be gay?
  3. That's a reflection of crappy US infrastructure, not MGBs.
  4. Considering that there is no rational comparison, no.
  5. In fact in parentheses I said not yet but could be in the future So before to accused me to spread false information learn to read please learn to read You are deliberately spreading false information by suggesting that that is the intention of the data collection when there has, in fact, been no indication, whatsoever, of that being the case so please learn to read your own comments before accusing me of not being able to read.
  6. What's more unacceptable is for you to claim, falsely, that that is what is happening. Try reading the article again and quote the part where extra charges or booked seat changes were mentioned.
  7. What? What has THAI got to do with this? They're not involved in the exercise.
  8. Nothing to do with that...you'd know if you bothered to read the article.
  9. There was no suggestion of that, at all. It's just a data-collection exercise. As the article stated.
  10. "I can only make you think". Really? You're a bit full of yourself! Nothing that you say here requires my subsequent thinking about it.
  11. You can't be serious. Illegal police detention and torture are text book failures of the rule of law. That case that you brought up was not an illegal detention. The killing was illegal but the initial arrest of the drug dealer was not.
  12. No, that's not correct, he has not even appeared in court because he left the country before a warrant was issued so, as yet, he is not, legally, due any punishment. You know that rule of law, the presumption of innocence? As soon as he reappears in Thailand (pre 2027) he will be arrested and prosecuted, as per the outstanding warrant.
  13. Jesus Christ.... I think we're all getting Chris Daley cancer.
  14. Participation is voluntary, as the OP clearly explains. See ya!
  15. As bad as the outcome of that was, it was not an example of "arbitrary detention", that drug dealer had been arrested legally (until he was killed). "Ferrari Joe was the posted child..." Was he? What's a "posted child", then!? I think that it is you who needs to do some reading.
  16. Not a good example, at all, or, at least, not a good understanding of it. He was arrested, charged and bailed for the traffic accident, and is subject to prosecution right now, all that is perfectly normal. He left Thailand before an arrest warrant was issued for him and, at the request of the RTP, Interpol issued a Red Notice (you may need to research what the implications of that are). He is not exactly "living freely abroad", he is a wanted fugitive, unfortunately out of the reach of the Thai authorities but he could be detained at any time if any of the member police forces of Interpol decide to co-operate with Thailand's request and do so.
